[ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan penghasilan terhadap keputusan pindah kerja, sekaligus merekam laju perubahan penghasilan berdasarkan alasan pindah kerja dengan membagi individu kedalam kelompok pindah kerja atas dasar terpaksa dan atas dasar sukarela, menggunakan data longitudinal IFLS tahun 2000 dan 2007. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa perbedaan penghasilan menjadi salah satu faktor determinan keputusan pindah kerja. Penghasilan estimasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata laju pertumbuhan penghasilan individu pindah kerja lebih besar daripada yang tidak pindah kerja. Selain itu, rata-rata laju pertumbuhan penghasilan individu pindah kerja atas dasar sukarela lebih besar daripada yang pindah kerja atas dasar terpaksa.
ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out the effect of earning gap on the decision of job mobility, and to record the earning growth based on the reasons of job mobility, be it involuntarily and voluntarily, using panel individuals of IFLS longitudinal data in the year of 2000 and 2007. This research proves that estimated earning gap is one of the determinants of job mobility. Limbah pewarna batik berbahaya bila dibuang ke badan sungai tanpa dilakukan pengolahan terlebih dahulu, konsentrasi Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) pada air buangan limbah batik 1332-3192 mg/L. Pengolahan fisika, kimia, dan biologis dapat mengurangi kandungan kimia berbahaya air limbah batik. Untuk mengetahui kriteria desain dari pengolahan biologis maka diperlukan laju kinetika penguraian substrat. Laju kinetika penguraian substrat berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi dari pengolahan biologis dengan media biofilter. Reaktor biofilter dengan skala lab pada penelitian ini memiliki volume 36 liter, dan air limbah yang dipergunakan merupakan air yang telah melalui proses fisika dan kimia. Proses penelitian ini meliputi seeding yaitu proses pembiakan bakteri yang berasal dari air limbah perut sapi, aklimatisasi yang merupakan proses adaptasi bakteri rumen, dan feeding merupakan proses penguraian konsentrasi senyawa kimia pada air limbah batik. Proses penelitian ini berlangsung selama 68 hari. Waktu tinggal pada penelitian adalah 8 jam dengan debit 1,25 mL/s. Diperoleh laju kinetika penguraian yang diperoleh berkisar 0,174-0,244 hari-1, laju pertumbuhan sebesar 0,03584 hari-1, dan biomassa dengan nilai 0,2088 gVSS/gCOD. Penyisihan COD 60 - 90%, Suhu pada proses ini berkisar antara 27oC-30oC sedangkan pH pada penelitian antara 6,5-8,5. ......Batik wastewater can damage the river ecosystem when discharged into water bodies without any prior treatment, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) content of the wastewater batik of 1332-3192 mg/L. Physical, Chemical, and Biological treatment can reduce the hazardous chemical constituents of wastewater batik. To determine the design criteria of the biological treatment, the kinetics rate of substrate decomposition is needed. The rate of decomposition kinetics of the substrate affect the efficiency of the biological treatment especially biofilter process. Lab-scale biofilter reactor in this research had a volume of 36 liters and the wastewater used in this research is water that has been through physics and chemical process. The research process includes seeding process, acclimatization, and feeding process. Seeding is the process of culturing rumen bacteria, Acclimatization is the process of adaptation of rumen bacteria in media biofilter, and feeding is the decomposition of chemical compounds in watewater batik by rumen bacteria. This research process lasted for 68 days. Residence time in the study was 8 hours with a flow rate of 1.25 mL/s. Decay rate from rumen bacteria between 0,174-0,244 Day-1, rumen bacteria growth rate is 0.03584 day-1, and biomass of 0.2088 gVSS / gCOD. COD removal 60-90%, the temperature in this process ranges from 27oC-30oC while the pH between 6.5 to 8.5.

Beras dalam penyimpanan sering mengalami kerusakan akibat aktivitas serangga. Salah satu serangga yang berperan dalam kerusakan beras adalah Sitophilus zeamais Motschulsky atau kutu beras, yang mengkonsumsi beras baik pada tingkat larva maupun dewasa. Sebagai hewan poikiloterm, pertumbuhan serangga ini dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah faktor abiotik, seperti suhu, cahaya, dan kelembaban. Dalam penelitian ini diamati pengaruh suhu pada laju pertumbuhan intrinsik Si tophi! us zeamais^i Suhu yang digunakan adalah 24 °C, 28 °C, 32 °C, dan 34 °C. Untuk mendapatkan nilai laju pertumbuhan intrinsik, diperlukan data angka bertahan hidup serangga dewasa yang berasal dari sejumlah telur yang diinkubasi, data fekunditas serangga dewasa tersebut, dan nisbah kelaminnya. Dari hasil uji analisis variansi satu fak tor yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa suhu 24 °C, 28 °C, dan 32 °C tidak berpengaruh nyata pada laju pertumbuhan intrinsik S7top/77 7us zeamais. Pada suhu 34 °C, laju pertumbuhan intrinsik tidak dapat dihitung karena data yang didapat tidak memenuhi syarat

Aktivitas pengelolaan minyak bumi terus meningkat sehingga diperlukan tindakan pengelolaan pencemaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pertumbuhan bakteri dan penurunan kadar TPH pada proses bioremediasi yang distimulasi dengan penambahan kompos dan lumpur IPAL pada 5% dan 10% secara eksperimental skala laboratorium dengan simulasi tanah tercemar dengan kadar TPH sebesar 5,5% selama 5 minggu hingga mencapai baku mutu yaitu di bawah 1%. Tanah yang digunakan berasal dari pantai Marunda, kompos dari UPS Merdeka, lumpur IPAL dari Jababeka, dan bakteri diisolat dari tanah tercemar minyak diwilayah sekitrar kilang. Hasilnya berupa laju pertumbuhan bakteri pada kompos dan lumpur IPAL dengan kadar 5% masing-masing adalah 0,7567/minggu dan 1,154/minggu serta 0,8783/minggu dan 1,1109/minggu pada kadar 10%. Sedangkan efisiensi penyisihan TPH yang didapatkan adalah 95,32% dan 96,85% untuk penambahan kompos 5% dan 10% serta 91,15% dan 91,02% untuk penambahan lumpur IPAL sebanyak 5% dan 10%. Hasil uji t menyatakan perbedaan baik pertumbuhan bakteri maupun penurunan kadar TPH tidak signifikan. Kemudian hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan korelasi rendah berbanding terbalik untuk hubungan TPH dengan jumlah bakteri. ...... Crude oil's processing into energy continuous to increase, hence the treatment for its environmental impact is needed. This study aims to determine the differences of bacterial growth rate and removal efficiency of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) between compost and WWTP sludge addtion at 5% and 10%. Those effect was acknowledge through experimental in laboratory scale using soil contaminated by 5,5% TPH within 5 weeks until it reach less than 1% as the requirement. The soil comes from Marunda Beach, compost from UPS Merdeka, WWTP sludge from Jababeka, bacterial isolated from soil contaminated at the surrounding of refining. Result of this study showed that the bacterial growth rate in compost and WWTP sludge at 5% and 10% concentration each are 0,7567/weeks and 1,154/week for compost also 0,8783/week and 1,1109/week for WWTP sludge. While the TPH removal efficiency obtained was 95,32% and 96,85% for the addition of compsot as well as 91,15% and 91,02% for the addition of WWTP sludge.at 5% and 10% concentration. Due to t-Test, the differences between all the variation of concentration are not significant. The correlation test between TPH degradation to bacterial growth showed that there is a weak downhill (negative) linear relationship.

[ABSTRAK
Kanker payudara adalah penyakit multifaktor yang mengakibatkan insiden kematian wanita tertinggi di dunia. Pengobatan kanker payudara berupa pembedahan, radioterapi, dan kemoterapi memiliki efek samping sehingga perlu pengobatan alternatif, salah satunya menggunakan bahan herbal. Daun sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) dilaporkan memiliki efek antitumor dan sitotoksik, tetapi penelitian in vivo terhadap kanker payudara masih sedikit, dibutuhkan penelitian lanjut mengenai efektivitas dan jalur penghambatan daun sirsak terhadap berbagai kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat dan dosis efektif ekstrak metanol daun sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) terhadap pertumbuhan tumor payudara mencit C3H secara in vivo. Sebanyak 30 ekor mencit galur C3H yang ditransplan dengan tumor payudara dari mencit C3H donor bertumor, dibagi dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kontrol negatif hanya diberi pelarut CMC 0,5%, kontrol positif diberi doksorubisin, kelompok pemberian ekstrak daun sirsak dosis 15, 30, dan 45 mg/kg BB. Setiap mencit dicekok ekstrak daun sirsak 0,2 cc per hari selama 21 hari, sedangkan kelompok kontrol positif diberikan doksorubisin secara intra vena 0,03 μg/20g BB seminggu sekali selama 21 hari. Panjang dan lebar tumor diukur di awal dan seminggu sekali selama perlakuan untuk mendapatkan data volume tumor. Pada akhir penelitian mencit dinekropsi, tumor mencit ditimbang dan dilakukan pewarnaan AgNOR untuk diukur aktivitas proliferasi sel. Hasil uji Anova menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna (p=0,007) antar perlakuan terhadap volume tumor akhir dan terhadap aktivitas proliferasi (p=0,001). Uji Kruskal Wallis terhadap berat tumor menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna antar perlakuan (p=0,03). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman secara bermakna (p=0,03) menunjukkan ada korelasi positif antara aktivitas proliferasi sel dengan pertumbuhan volume tumor dengan kekuatan korelasi yang lemah (r=0,39). Disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak metanol daun sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) dapat menghambat laju pertumbuhan volume tumor dan aktivitas proliferasi sel kanker payudara mencit C3H dan optimum penghambatan pada dosis 30 mg/kg

Treatments for breast cancer such as surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy have their own side effects, so that alternative treatments such as herbal medicine are needed. Soursop leaf (Annona muricata Linn) has been reported to have antitumor and cytotoxic effects, but only few conducted in vivo, an advanced research is needed to find the effectiveness and the inhibition pathway of the soursop leaf. The purpose of this research is to find out the inhibition capacity and the effective dose of soursop leaf methanol extract (Annona muricata Linn) against the development of C3H mice?s breast cancer in vivo. There were thirty mice of C3H strain which were transplanted with breast tumor and they were divided into five groups consisting of negative control group which was given only solvent CMC 0.5%, a positive control group which was given doxorubicin, a dose group of 15 mg/kg BB, a dose group of 30 mg/kg BB, and a dose group of 45 mg/kg BB. Each mouse was given 0,2 cc soursop leaf extract every day for 21 days while the positive control group was given doxorubicin 0,03 μg/20 gram BB once a week for 21 days intravenously. The length and the width of the tumor were measured at the beginning and also measured once a week during the experiment process to gain the data of the tumor volume. At the end of the research, the tumor of the mice was lifted and weighed and it was stained by AgNOR to measure the proliferation activity of the cell. The Anova result showed that there was a significant difference (p=0,007) between treatment against the development of tumor which was marked by the decrease of the tumor volume and proliferation activity (p=0,001). The Kruskal Wallis result showed that there was no significant difference (p<0,33) in the tumor weight. Spearman correlation study significantly (p=0,03) indicated that there was a positive correlation between the cell proliferation activity and the growth of the tumor but in a weak correlation (r=0,39). The Anova result showed that there was a significant difference (p=0,007) between treatment against the development of tumor which was marked by the decrease of the tumor volume and proliferation activity (p=0,001). The Kruskal Wallis result showed that there was no significant difference (p<0,33) in the tumor weight. Spearman correlation study significantly (p=0,03) indicated that there was a positive correlation between the cell proliferation activity and the growth of the tumor but in a weak correlation (r=0,39). Therefore, it could be concluded that the methanol extract of soursop leaf (Annona muricata Linn) can inhibit the growth rate of tumor volume as well as the proliferation activity of the breast cancer cell of C3H mice and it worked optimally at 30 mg/kg BB dose.]

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju pertumbuhan maksimum mikroalga yang dikultivasi dalam medium NPK Urea dan kandungan protein pada sampel kering mikroalga dengan metode uji absorbansi spektrofotometri uv-visible. Jenis mikroalga yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Chlorella vulgaris dan Spirulina plantesis. Laju pertumbuhan maksimum diperoleh dari tiga metode hitung yaitu haemositometer, absorbansi dan kapasitansi. Laju pertumbuhan maksimum Chlorella vulgaris diperoleh pada hari ketujuh masa kultivasi dengan jumlah 4.752.000 sel/ml dan Spirulina plantesis pada hari keenam dengan jumlah 64.000 sel/ml. Pengujian kandungan protein menggunakan alkaline copper reagen (ACR) yang memanfaatkan reaksi antara larutan tembaga (Cu2+), NaOH dan sampel. Perubahan warna sampel menjadi ungu menandakan adanya reaksi antara Cu2+ dengan ikatan peptida atau protein. Besarnya konsentrasi protein dapat diketahui dengan melihat nilai serapan pada panjang gelombang 520 nm. Kandungan protein yang dihasilkan dari berat kering sampel (w/w) dalam penelitian ini sebesar 14,78% untuk Chlorella vulgaris dan 16,06% untuk Spirulina plantesis. Jenis asam amino yang teridentifikasi berdasarkan perbandingan grafik BSA dengan sampel adalah tyrosin, phenylalanine dan tryptophan.
This study has purpose to determine the maximum growth rate of microalgae cultivation in the NPK Urea medium and protein content on a dry microalgae sample with UV-visible absorbance spectrophotometry assay method. Type of microalgae used in this study was Chlorella vulgaris and Spirulina plantesis. The maximum growth rate is calculated using three methods: haemocytometer, absorbance and capacitance. Chlorella vulgaris maximum growth rate obtained on the seventh day of cultivation period with the number 4.752.000 cells/ml and Spirulina plantesis on the sixth day with the number 64.000 cells/ml. The protein content was tested using alkaline copper reagent (ACR) which utilizes the reaction between copper (Cu2+), NaOH and samples. The color change of samples turn to purple indicates there are reaction between Cu2+ and peptide bonds or protein. The amount of protein concentration can be determined by looking the absorption value at 520 nm wavelength. The result of protein content of the dry sample weight (w/w) in this study amounted to 14.78% for Chlorella vulgaris and 16.06% for Spirulina plantesis. Types of amino acid were identified by comparison with a standart BSA is tyrosine, phenylalanine and tryptophan.

Penelitian-penelitian terkait permodelan pertumbuhan CNT masih menganggap pertumbuhan CNT tersebut konstan terhadap fungsi waktu. Padahal, pertumbuhan CNT tersebut tidak konstan terhadap waktu karena adanya persitiwa deaktivasi katalis. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan variasi komposisi metana dan hidrogen dalam umpan dan juga temperatur operasi untuk melihat pengaruh parameterparameter tersebut terhadap laju pertumbuhan CNT. Fenomena perpindahan yang diwakili oleh penurunan neraca perpindahan massa, energi dan kinetika reaksi tersebut akan disusun menjadi sebuah model dan disimulasi dengan menggunakan software COMSOL Multiphysics sehingga penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah model laju pertumbuhan daripada CNT sebagai fungsi waktu pada inti aktif katalis Ni/Al2O3. ......Modelling studies related to the growth of CNT still considered that the growth rate of CNT is constant. At the fact, the growth rate of CNT wouldn?t be constant because there is an effect of catalyst deactivation. In this study, we will vary the composition of methane and hydrogen on feed and the temperatur operation to study the effect of that parameters on the CNT growth rate. The transport phenomenon which is represented by differentiation of mass transfer balance, energy and reaction kinetic will be organized to create a model and simulated with the software COMSOL Multiphysiscs so that this study will produce a growth model of CNT as a function of time on Ni/Al2O3 catalyst.
