Abstrak :
Tesis ini berisi tentang representasi perundungan di sekolah dalam film Joe Bell. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pisau analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce, di mana akan dicari sebuah makna dari sebuah tanda dan objek yang berasal dari potongan-potongan adegan yang ada dalam film Joe Bell. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi representasi bentuk-bentuk perundungan di sekolah dalam film Joe Bell yang diharapkan akan dapat membantu mensosialisasikan tentang bahaya perundungan di sekolah terhadap para korbannya dan memberikan andil dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran tentang Permendikbud No 82 tahun 2015. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat ditarik kesimpulan jika bentuk-bentuk tindak perundungan yang terjadi dalam film Joe Bell, memiliki beberapa kemiripan dengan tindak perundungan yang tedapat dalam budaya pendidikan di Indonesia seperti: perundungan fisik seperti menabrak, menarik kerah baju, dan memegang anggota badan; perundungan verbal seperti berteriak, menghina, mengirim pesan tertulis; perundungan nonverbal seperti melotot; perundungan eksklusivitas seperti mengucilkan, menganggap seseorang berbeda; dan perundungan siber seperti mengirim komentar buruk pada halaman sosial media. ...... This thesis contains the representation of bullying in schools in Joe Bell's film. The research method used is a qualitative method with a semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce, in which the meaning of a sign and an object will be sought from the pieces of the scene in the Joe Bell film. The purpose of this study is to identify the representations of forms of bullying in schools in Joe Bell's film which is expected to be able to help socialize the dangers of bullying in schools to its victims and contribute to efforts to raise awareness about Permendikbud No 82 of 2015. The results of this study is concluding that the forms of bullying that occur in Joe Bell's film have some similarities with bullying in the education culture in Indonesia, such as: physical bullying such as hitting, pulling the collar, and holding limbs; verbal bullying such as yelling, insulting, sending text messages; nonverbal bullying such as glaring; bullying of exclusivity such as ostracizing, seeing someone as different; and cyberbullying such as posting bad comments on social media pages.

Semenjak masa pemerintahan Donald Trump, Amerika Serikat telah kehilangan keterikatannya dengan Kawasan Indo-Pasifik. Situasi ini dibarengi dengan masifnya ekspansi pengaruh Tiongkok di Kawasan, utamanya pada sektor ekonomi. Terpilihnya Joe Biden memunculkan harapan untuk kembalinya hubungan kuat ekonomi Amerika Serikat di Kawasan. Dalam mencapai visi ini, pemerintahan Joe Biden menciptakan Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). Satu karakteristik unik yang hadir dalam kerangka kerja sama ini adalah Keputusan Amerika Serikat untuk meniadakan reduksi tarif. Tulisan ini akan menganalisis faktor internasional dan faktor domestik dengan menggunakan Realisme Neoklasik sebagai pisau analisis. Tulisan ini berargumen bahwa IPEF merupakan usaha Joe Biden dalam merespons ketertinggalan pengaruh ekonomi Amerika Serikat di kawasan. Adapun karakteristiknya yang meniadakan reduksi tarif merupakan hasil intervensi dari persepsi Joe Biden yang mengedepankan middle class, desakan dari kelompok industri manufaktur dan kelompok buruh, serta kompleksitas pengesahan perjanjian perdagangan di legislatif akibat preseden yang ditinggalkan oleh Presiden Donald Trump. ......Since the administration of Donald Trump, the United States has lost its engagement with the Indo-Pacific region. This situation has coincided with China's extensive expansion of influence in the region, particularly in the economic sector. The election of Joe Biden has raised hopes for a resurgence of strong economic ties between the United States and the region. In pursuit of this vision, the Biden administration has introduced the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). One unique characteristic of this cooperation framework is the United States' decision to eliminate tariff reductions. This essay will analyze the international and domestic factors influencing this decision. The Neoclassical Realism theory will serve as the analytical framework, arguing that the IPEF represents Biden's effort to address the United States' economic influence gap in the region. The decision to eliminate tariff reductions is seen as a result of Biden's perception prioritizing the middle class, pressure from manufacturing industry groups and labor unions, and the complexity of trade agreement ratification in the legislature due to precedents set by Donald Trump.

Musik rap yang berasal dari budaya HipHop identik dengan generasi muda serta lirik-liriknya yang secara eksplisit menggambarkan situasi sosial yang sedang terjadi pada masa produksi lagu tersebut. Tiga buah lirik lagu rap yang dinyanyikan oleh Joe Rilla dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitif dengan pendekatan intrinsik puisi serta sosiologi sastra guna mengeluarkan gambaran sosial pada masyarakat Jerman pasca satu dasawarsa reunifikasi dalam sudut pandang seorang rapper Jerman Timur. Dari gambaran tersebut ditarik kesimpulan bagaimana perspektif Joe Rilla sebagai generasi muda eks-Jerman Timur dalam memaknai penyatuan Jerman. ......Rap music which originated from hip hop culture is identical with the youth generation and the lyrics explicitly describe social situation which happened at the time that the song produced. Three rap song's lyrics sung by Joe Rilla is analyzed using descriptive-analytical method with poetry intrinsic approach and also literature sociology in order to reveal the social image of Germany society after a decade's reunification from the East Germany rapper's point of view. From those social images, a conclusion can be drawn about how is Joe Rilla's perspective of ex-East Germany as youth generation in meaning the Germany unification.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh host podcast terhadap pengikutnya. Menurut Stefan Larson dari Prior Data (2024), terdapat lebih dari lima juta podcast dengan lebih dari 75 juta episode pada tahun 2024. Dalam artikel yang sama, ia menyatakan bahwa basis pendengar podcast global terus tumbuh secara konsisten dari tahun 2019 hingga 2024. Podcast dimulai dengan 274,78 juta pendengar pada tahun 2019 dan berkembang menjadi 332,12 juta pada tahun 2020, peningkatan yang signifikan ini kemungkinan besar dipengaruhi oleh perubahan kebiasaan konsumsi media. Makalah ini menggunakan Audience Reception Theory (1973) karya Paul Lazarsfeld dan metode convenient sampling. Mengambil contoh dari Joe Rogan Experience, salah satu saluran podcast paling populer yang sedang berjalan, makalah ini mempelajari faktor-faktor yang membuat pemirsa terlibat dengan pembawa acara podcast. Dengan mengangkat topik-topik tersebut, motivasi penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara influencer dan pengguna biasa. Artikel ini berpendapat bahwa masing-masing pembawa acara podcast memiliki tingkat pengaruh yang berbeda-beda, bergantung pada kepribadian dan keaslian konten mereka terhadap penonton. ......This article aims to study podcast hosts’ influence on their followers. According to Stefan Larson of Prior Data (2024), there are over five million podcasts with more than 75 million episodes as of 2024. In the same article, he states that the global podcast listener base has consistently grown from 2019 to 2024. The podcast began with 274.78 million listeners in 2019 and expanded to 332.12 million in 2020, a significant increase likely influenced by changing media consumption habits. This ongoing growth has given podcast hosts more relevance in being recognised as people of influence. This paper uses Stuart Hall’s Audience Reception Theory (1973) and a convenient sampling method. Taking the case of Joe Rogan Experience, one of the most popular podcast channels currently running, this paper studies the factors that make audiences engage with a podcast host. By tackling these topics, this study's motivation is to explain the relationship between influencers and regular users, arguing that podcast hosts each have varying levels of influence, depending on the personality and authenticity of their content towards the audience.
