Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh personalization dan hedonic motivation pada customer experience dan loyalty dalam konteks ritel omnichannel. Studi ini mengembangkan delapan hipotesis yang diuji menggunakan satu sampel survey dengan total responden sebanyak 281 orang yang dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner yang berisikan 18 pertanyaan secara online. Hasil penelitian mendukung semua hipotesis yang mengkonfirmasi personalization dan hedonic motivation memiliki pengaruh dalam menciptakan customer experience secara emotional maupun cognitive. ......This study examines the effect of personalization and hedonic motivation on customer experience and loyalty in the context of omnichannel retail. This study developed eight hypotheses that were tested using a survey sample with a total of 281 respondents who were analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data was collected by distributing online questionnaires containing 18 questions. The results of the study support all hypotheses that confirm personalization and hedonic motivation have an influence on creating emotional and cognitive customer experiences.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh personalized ads terhadap impulsive buying pada konsumen wahha dress. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan personalized ads dalam Instagram berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi utilitarian dan motivasi hedonis, kemudian motivasi utilitarian dan motivasi hedonis memberikan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap impulsive buying. Selain itu, terlihat personalized ads brand Wahha Dress memiliki pengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap utilitarian motivation dan hedonic motivation konsumen, utilitarian motivation dan hedonic motivation yang timbul dalam benak konsumen tidak secara signifikan mendorong konsumen untuk membeli produk Wahha Dress, dan personalized ads yang dilakukan oleh Wahha Dress tidak berpengaruh secara langsung serta tidak secara signifikan mendorong konsumen untuk membeli secara impulsif. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, penelitian merekomendasikan agar pemasar menitik beratkan atau berfokus pada nilai fungsi dari produk, serta pemasar sebaiknya memberikan strategi harga diskon atau menjual produk dengan harga yang termasuk dalam kategori murah. ......This study aims to determine the effect of personalized ads towards impulsive buying on Wahha Dress consumers. This study method uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that personalized ads on Instagram had a significant effect on utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation, then utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation had an insignificant effect on impulsive buying. In addition, it can be seen that Wahha Dress’s personalized ads have a positive and significant direct influence on consumer utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation, the utilitarian motivation and hedonic motivation that arise in the minds of consumers do not significantly encourage consumers to buy Wahha Dress products, and the personalized ads are carried out. Wahha Dress has no direct effect nor does it significantly encourage consumers to buy impulsively. Based on descriptive analysis, the research recommends that marketers emphasize on the function value of the product, and marketers should provide a discount pricing strategy or sell products at prices that are included in the cheap category.

[ABSTRAK
Tesis ini meneliti tentang faktor penting yang memotivasi konsumen Generasi Y untuk melakukan penelusuran produk dari sebuah restoran pada platform media sosial Instagram, dan menguji apakah niat untuk melakukan penelusuran produk tersebut akan mempengaruhi purchase intention di masa depan dan selanjutnya mengarah kepada pertukaran/berbagi informasi produk tersebut (word-of-mouth intention) dengan teman dan kenalan. Setelah dilakukan tinjauan pustaka dan penyusunan hipotesis, diperolah data dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada 223 responden yang berusia 16-35 pada tahun 2015 ini (kelompok Generasi Y) dan mempunyai akun Instagram serta pernah melakukan penelusuran produk sebuah restoran melalui platform tersebut, dengan melakukan pendekatan convenience sampling dan snowball sampling, dan kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap data dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa niat konsumen untuk melakukan penelusuran produk sebuah restoran pada media sosial Instagram dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh utilitarian motivation dan keempat dimensi yang membentuknya, yaitu convenience, information availability, product selection, customized advertisement dan juga hedonic motivation serta keempat dimensi yang membentuknya, yaitu trend discovery, socializing, adventure, authority & status. Dimana dari variabel utilitarian motivation, dimensi product selection memiliki pengaruh yang paling besar terhadap niat tersebut. Sedangkan untuk variabel hedonic motivation, dimensi adventure adalah yang memiliki pengaruh yang terbesar. Lebih lanjut, penelusuran produk yang dilakukan oleh pengguna Instagram tersebut berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention dan word-of-mouth intention.

This thesis examines the important factors that motivate Generation Y consumers to browse the product of a restaurants on Instagram; as well as how the intention to browse the product will affect the purchase intention in the future and in turn lead to exchange or share the product information (word-of-mouth intention) with friends. After conducting a comprehensive literature study and crafting hypothesis, some useful data were obtained from the questionnaires distributed to 223 respondents aged 16-35 years in 2015 (Generation Y) and having Instagram account and have ever browsed the product of a restaurants through the platform, with a convenience sampling and snowball sampling approaches. This followed by an analysis of the data with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh demand, convenience, interactivity, dan playfulness sebagai faktor eksternal video pendek yang memberikan stimulus terhadap perceived enjoyment. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perceived enjoyment terhadap hedonic motivation dari pembelian produk pakaian yang pernah dilakukan. Kemudian, hedonic motivation dari pembelian produk pakaian yang pernah dilakukan sebelumnya diuji pada impulsive repurchase intention. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menguji pengaruh mediasi hedonic motivation pada hubungan perceived enjoyment terhadap impuslive repurchase intention. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari 278 responden Generasi Z dengan usia 18 tahun hingga 26 tahun yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk pakaian (atasan atau bawahan selain pakaian dalam) melalui online dalam 6 bulan terakhir setelah menonton video pendek endorsementyang diunggah influencer di media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan demand, convenience, dan playfulnesssecara signifikan mempengaruhi perceived enjoyment, namun interactivity menunjukkan hasil yang tidak signifikan. Hasil juga menunjukkan perceived enjoyment signifikan mempengaruhi hedonic motivation. Kemudian, hubungan hedonic motivation signifikan mempengaruhi impulsive repurchase intention. Pada uji mediasi, hasil menunjukkan pengaruh yang parsial pada mediasi hedonic motivation terhadap hubungan perceived terhadap impulsive repurchase intention. ......This research aims to determine the influence of demand, convenience, interactivity, and playfulness as external factors on giving stimulus from short video towards perceived enjoyment. This research also aims to determine the influence of perceived enjoyment to hedonic motivation from the previous fashion product purchased. Lastly, hedonic motivation from the previous fashion product purchase is then examined on impulsive repurchase intention. Furthermore, this research also examined the mediating effect of hedonic motivation on the relationship between perceived enjoyment and impulsive repurchase intention. This research uses data from 278 Generation Z respondents aged 18 to 26 years old who have purchased fashion products (tops or bottoms other than undergarments) online in the last 6 months after watching endorsement short videos uploaded by influencers on social media. The result shows the correlation between demand, convenience, and perceived enjoyment influences perceived enjoyment, however, interactivity is not significant. The result also shows that perceived enjoyment significantly influences hedonic motivation. Lastly, the relation between hedonic motivation significantly influences impulsive repurchase intentions. The mediation test shows a partial effect of hedonic motivation on the relationship between preceived enjoyment and impulsive repurchase intention.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi browsing mempengaruhi dorongan konsumen untuk membeli secara impulsif selama Pandemi COVID-19. Berdasarkan kerangka Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) dan teori motivasi, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana faktor situasi (pengaruh interpersonal, daya tarik visual dan portabilitas) dan faktor reaksi dalam m-commerce untuk menguji pembelian impulsif online. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji ciri kepribadian kecenderungan membeli impulsif sebagai faktor moderasi yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara motivasi browsing dan dorongan untuk membeli secara impulsif. Model persamaan struktural dikembangkan untuk menguji efek kausal antar variabel, mengumpulkan data dari 368 responden melalui kuesioner online, dan melakukan analisis menggunakan SEM-AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor situasi mempengaruhi penjelajahan hedonis dan penjelajahan utilitarian secara berbeda. Sedangkan utilitarian browsing berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap dorongan konsumen untuk membeli secara impulsif, sedangkan hedonic browsing berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap dorongan konsumen untuk membeli secara impulsif. Kecenderungan pembelian impulsif lebih lanjut secara signifikan memoderasi hubungan antara motivasi penelusuran (utilitarian dan hedonis) dan dorongan konsumen untuk membeli secara impulsif. Diskusi, batasan, dan implikasi juga disajikan dalam makalah ini ......The purpose of this study is to examining how browsing motivation influence consumer urge to buy impulsively during COVID-19 Pandemic. Based on the stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework and motivation theory, this study investigated how situation factor ( interpersonal influence, visual appeal and portability) and reaction factor in m-commerce to examine online impulsive buying. This study also investigated personality trait impulse buying tendency as a moderating factor that affect the relationship between browsing motivation and urge to buy impulsively. the structural equation model was develop to test the causal effect between variable, we collected data from 368 respondent via online questionnaire, and carried out analysis using SEM-AMOS. The result indicates that situation factor differently affect hedonic browsing and utilitarian browsing. While utilitarian browsing have significant and negatively influence consumer urge to buy impulsively, whereas hedonic browsing have significant and positively influence consumer urge to buy impulsively. further impulsive buying tendency significantly moderates relationship between browsing motivation (utilitarian and hedonic) and consumer urge to buy impulsively. Maraknya situs e-commerce yang aktivitasnya meningkat akibat pandemi COVID19 menjadi bukti bahwa sifat pembelian telah berubah akibat Internet. Oleh karena itu, fokus penelitian ini adalah mengamati faktor-faktor yang secara positif mempengaruhi niat beli ulang di Tokopedia dengan mengkaji beberapa faktor yaitu motivasi hedonis, kemudahan akses informasi online, kepercayaan online, dan persepsi harga online. Convenience sampling digunakan untuk studi ini dan sampelnya adalah pengguna Tokopedia yang berdomisili di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan total 110 responden di seluruh wilayah Jabodetabek. Analisis kuantitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi hedonis dan persepsi harga online berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli ulang konsumen, sedangkan kemudahan akses informasi online dan kepercayaan online tidak cukup signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli ulang konsumen. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa kemudahan akses informasi online berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan online, dan persepsi harga online berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi hedonis. Temuan dalam penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai topik ini dan juga untuk Tokopedia untuk menilai faktor-faktor yang mungkin mempengaruhi niat beli ulang konsumen terhadap layanan mereka. ......The proliferation of e-commerce sites, whose activity has increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic, serves as an evidence that the nature of purchasing has changed by the Internet. Therefore, the focus of this research is to observe the factors that positively influence repurchase intention on Tokopedia by examining several factors namely hedonic motivation, ease of access to online information, online trust, and perception of online prices. Convenience sampling was used and the samples are Tokopedia users that reside in the Jabodetabek area. This research uses quantitative methods with a total of 110 respondents throughout the Jabodetabek area. The quantitative data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares’s Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study showed that hedonic motivation and perception of online prices have a positive influence on consumers’ repurchase intention, while ease of access to online information and online trust was not significant enough to have a positive influence on consumers’ repurchase intention. In addition, it was found that ease of access to online information has a positive influence on online trust, and the perception of online prices does have a positive influence on hedonic motivations. The findings in this research are beneficial for further research regarding this topic and also for Tokopedia to assess factors that might influence consumers’ repurchase intention toward their services.

In the post-2020 digital era, technology advancements and widespread smartphone adoption have transformed consumer interactions with retail, particularly through mobile shopping apps. Indonesia's e-commerce market is poised to reach a GMV of $160 billion by 2030, driven by an expanding user base projected to reach 131 million by 2028 (Statista, 2023). This study explores how consumer impulsiveness influences the usage of multiple apps among mobile shoppers, focusing on Lazada. Previous research underscores impulsiveness' impact on mobile shopping behaviors, influenced by factors like performance expectations, app environment, user experience, and augmented reality (AR) technology (Chopdar, 2019; Prashar, 2019; Chen, 2021; Bellini, 2019). Despite extensive research, gaps persist in understanding how impulsiveness shapes multi-app usage post-2020. This research, guided by the S-O-R theory, examines external stimuli such as mobility, personalization, product variety, hedonic motivation, and visual appeal on mobile shoppers' impulsiveness. By analyzing all product categories on Lazada and demographic factors like age, gender, location, and occupation, this study offers a detailed analysis of nuanced influences on consumer behavior. It finds that personalization and product assortment significantly predict impulsive buying, while mobility, hedonic motivation, and visual appeal have less impact. Impulsiveness strongly drives the intent to install additional shopping apps, indicating a preference among impulsive consumers for diversity and novelty. Surprisingly, customer experience does not diminish the link between impulsiveness and the intent to install new apps, suggesting satisfaction with one app does not deter exploration of others like Lazada. These insights are crucial for businesses seeking to enhance engagement through personalized strategies and diverse product offerings, while considering ethical implications for promoting responsible consumption. Drawing from Indonesian samples enhances relevance and allows for cross-country comparisons, providing objective metrics for evaluating mobile app usage in varied markets. ......Pasca-2020, perkembangan teknologi dan penetrasi luas smartphone telah mengubah cara konsumen berinteraksi dengan ritel, terutama melalui aplikasi belanja mobile. Diperkirakan pasar e-commerce Indonesia akan mencapai GMV 160 miliar dolar AS pada 2030, didukung oleh pertumbuhan pengguna e-commerce yang diperkirakan mencapai 131 juta pada 2028. Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh impulsivitas konsumen terhadap penggunaan berbagai aplikasi belanja, dengan fokus pada Lazada. Studi sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa faktor seperti harapan kinerja, suasana aplikasi, pengalaman pengguna, dan teknologi AR berperan penting. Dengan mengadopsi teori S-O-R, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak rangsangan eksternal terhadap impulsivitas belanja mobile, dengan mempertimbangkan mobilitas, personalisasi, variasi produk, motivasi hedonis, dan daya tarik visual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa personalisasi dan variasi produk berkontribusi signifikan terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif, sedangkan faktor lain seperti mobilitas, motivasi hedonis, dan daya tarik visual tidak begitu berpengaruh. Impulsivitas juga mempengaruhi kecenderungan untuk menginstal aplikasi belanja tambahan, menunjukkan preferensi konsumen untuk variasi dan pengalaman baru. Selain itu, pengalaman pelanggan tidak menghambat keinginan untuk mencoba aplikasi lain, menyoroti pentingnya personalisasi dan pilihan produk dalam menarik dan mempertahankan konsumen. Wawasan ini bermanfaat bagi bisnis dan pemasar yang ingin meningkatkan keterlibatan pengguna melalui strategi personalisasi, sambil mempertimbangkan implikasi etis dalam promosi konsumsi bertanggung jawab. Dengan memperluas cakupan penelitian ke Indonesia, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman lintas negara tentang penggunaan aplikasi mobile, sementara evaluasi kampanye pemasaran Lazada memberikan pandangan berharga bagi bisnis untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran dalam lanskap perdagangan mobile yang terus berkembang.

ABSTRAK Dalam berbisnis, setiap pelaku pemasar ingin konsumen mengetahui informasi dari produknya. Sebelum adanya internet, untuk mendapatkan suatu informasi konsumen dapat mencarinya melalui surat kabar, majalah, televisi maupun radio. Berbeda dengan saat ini, konsumen yang ingin mendapatkan suatu informasi dapat dengan mudah mencarinya dengan mengakses internet melalui smartphone, tablet maupun personal computer. Adapun perkembangan, yang terus berkembang dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir telah menjadi channel atau jalur untuk memasarkan maupun menginfomasikan produk. Salah satu yang digunakan oleh para pelaku pemasar untuk penyebaran informasi produk dan brandnya adalah Instagram. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi utilitarian dan hedonik mempengaruhi purchase intention, word-of-mouth intention dan impulse buying, dan mengetahui bagaimana social media produt browsing memberikan pengaruh kepada utilitarian motivation dan hedonic motivation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa hanya motivasi hedonik berpengaruh positif terhadap purchase intention, word-of-mouth intention dan impulse buying, namun tidak dengan motivasi utilitarian, dan penelusuran produk berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi utilitarian dan hedonik.
ABSTRACT In business, every marketer wants consumers to know about information of the its product. Before existence of internet, to get information consumers could look for it through newspaper, magazine, television or radio. Unlike today, consumers who want to get information can easily accessing the internet through smartphone, tablets or personal computers. As for development of social media, which has continued to grow in the past ten years has become channel or pathway to market and inform the products. One of the social media that used to inform the product and brand is Instagram. The purpose of this research is to determine how utilitarian and hedonic motivation influence purchase intention, word-of-mouth intention and impulse buying, and how social media product browsing influence on utilitarian and hedonic motivation. Based on the result of this study, it is know that only hedonic motivation has positive effect on purchase intention, word-of-mouth intention and impulse buying, but not with utilitarian motivation, and product browsing has positive effect on utilitarian and hedonic motivation

Industri esports Indonesia sedang berada pada fase puncak perkembangannya. Kegiatan menonton esports merupakan hal yang baru-baru ini menjadi sebuah hal yang berorientasi sebagai sumber hiburan lainnya bagi pemain game. Hal ini menyebabkan pengembang game dan penyelenggara event esports semakin berlomba-lomba untuk meningkatkan layanannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara watching intention, gaming intention, dan purchase intention. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala MSSC dalam mengukur watching intention, mode ESC dalam mengukur gaming intention, serta bagaimana hubungan kedua hal tersebut dengan purchase intention atau keinginan seseorang untuk membeli barang virtual di dalam game. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 243 responden yang merupakan pemain game Mobile Legends selama lebih dari 1 tahun dan sudah pernah menonton pertandingan esports M3 World Championship. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 4.0.8.4. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada escapism, family and friends, dan social interaction terhadap watching intention, pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan pada vicarious achievement dan acquisition of knowledge terhadap watching intention, serta pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan pada aesthetics, physical attractiveness, dan player’s skills terhadap watching intention. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada hedonic motivation terhadap gaming intention, dan terdapat juga pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan pada flow terhadap gaming intention. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada hubungan direct effect variabel watching intention terhadap keinginan konsumen untuk bermain game. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif namun tidak signifikan pada hubungan direct effect variabel watching intention terhadap keinginan konsumen untuk membeli produk virtual di dalam game. Peran gaming intention dalam memediasi hubungan antara watching intention dan purchase intention adalah sebagai mediator penuh. ......The Indonesian esports industry is at the peak of its development. Watching esports is something that has recently become oriented as another source of entertainment for gamers. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between watching intention, gaming intention, and purchase intention. This study uses the MSSC scale to measure watching intention, the ESC mode to measure gaming intention, and how these two relate to purchase intention or someone's desire to buy virtual goods in games. This research was conducted on 243 respondents who are Mobile Legends game players for more than 1 year and have watched the M3 World Championship esports match. The research hypothesis was tested using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method using the SmartPLS 4.0.8.4 application. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect on escapism, family and friends, and social interaction on watching intention, a positive but not significant effect on vicarious achievement and acquisition of knowledge on watching intention, as well as a negative and insignificant effect on aesthetics, physical attractiveness , and player's skills on watching intention. There is a positive and significant effect on hedonic motivation on gaming intention, and there is also a positive but not significant effect on flow on gaming intention. There is a positive and significant influence on the direct effect relationship between watching intention variable and consumers' desire to play games. There is a positive but not significant influence on the direct effect relationship of the watching intention variable on consumers' desire to buy virtual products in games. The role of gaming intention in mediating the relationship between watching intention and purchase intention is as a full mediator.
