"[Pendapatan dan EBITDA PT. XYZ hingga akhir tahun 2014 terus meningkat selama periode lima tahun. Tetapi kenaikan EBITDA tidak diikuti dengan kenaikan EBITDA margin perusahaan. EBITDA margin perusahaan selama periode empat tahun mengalami fluktuasi dengan nilai rata-rata 30,48% dan standar deviasi 5,99% dengan kecenderungan meningkat. Penelitian ini membahas peningkatan EBITDA margin perusahaan dengan mengoptimalkan biaya pemeliharaan dan persediaan spare part untuk meningkatkan kehandalan aset, yaitu dengan melakukan perancangan sistem Entreprise Asset Management (EAM) yang dapat diimplementasikan pada perusahaan. Dengan EAM didapatkan output sistem yang diolah menjadi informasi statistik perangkat yang diperlukan untuk menetukan strategi pemeliharaan yaitu preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) dan persediaan pemeliharaan untuk
mencapai target SLA, pendapatan dan biaya. Dengan melaksanakan strategi pemeliharaan yang tepat didapatkan penurunan total biaya pemeliharaan dan peningkatan kehandalan perangkat pada PT. XYZ.;Revenue and EBITDA PT. XYZ until the end of 2014 continued to increase over a period of five years. But the increase in EBITDA is not followed by increased in EBITDA margin of the company. EBITDA margin for a period of four years has fluctuated with average value of 30.48% and standard deviation of 5.99% and increasing trend. This study discusses the increase in EBITDA margins by optimizing maintenance cost and spare parts inventory to improve assets reliability, with Entreprise Asset Management (EAM) system design can be implemented at the company. With EAM will obtained system output to processed
into statistical information necessary to determine the maintenance strategy, that is preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) and maintenance spare part in according with the SLA targets, income and expenses. "Arsitektur enterprise merupakan suatu landasan organisasi yang terdiri dari komponen-komponen, hubungan antar komponen tersebut, hubungan antar komponen dengan lingkungan dan prinsip-prinsip yang digunakan dalam mengelola perancangan sistem tersebut dan evolusinya. Perkembangan arsitektur enterprise yang pesat dan pentingnya arsitektur enterprise membuat banyak perusahaan di seluruh dunia memutuskan untuk menerapkan arsitektur enterprise untuk mendukung proses bisnis yang dijalankannya. Namun tidak semua organisasi mendapatkan manfaat yang dijanjikannya, karena bergantung pada manajemen arsitektur enterprise yang dijalankan oleh organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari keterkaitan antara komponen manajemen arsitektur enterprise atau enterprise architecture management (EAM) dan dampaknya terhadap manfaat TI maupun manfaat bisnis. Terdapat 4 manfaat TI yang diamati yaitu efisiensi TI, fleksibilitas TI, ketersediaan informasi, keselarasan strategis dan 4 manfaat bisnis yang diamati yaitu keunggulan operasional, kedekatan konsumen, kepemimpinan produk dan kecerdasan strategis. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 92 sampel yang terdiri dari perusahaan BUMN dan BUMS yang diolah dengan menggunakan pendekatan partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EAM terbukti memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap manfaat terkait teknologi terutama pada  efisiensi dan keselarasan strategis, manfaat terkait teknologi terbukti pengaruh positif terhadap manfaat terkait bisnis terutama ketesediaan informasi terhadap kedekatan konsumen dan kepemimpinan produk, serta EAM terbukti memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap manfaat bisnis melalui manfaat TI terutama dalam keunggulan operasional dan kecerdasan strategis. Hal ini sekaligus membuktikan bahwa manajemen arsitektur enterprise mampu meningkatkan kinerja bisnis melalui peningkatan kinerja TI.

Enterprise architecture (EA) is the fundamental organization of a system, embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and the environment, and the principles governing its design and evolution. The rapid development and the importance of EA in business lead companies all over the world to decide implementing EA and use the architecture for supporting their business processes. However, not every company perceived the potential benefits of EA because the benefits gained by the companies depend on how the companies perform the enterprise architecture management (EAM). Therefore, this study aims to identify relations between enterprise architecture management (EAM) and EA benefits perceived by the company, both the information technology (IT) related benefits and the business related benefits. In this study, the IT related benefits observed consist of 4 benefits including IT efficiency, IT flexibility, information availability, and strategic alignment. The business related benefits observed also consist of 4 benefits which are operational excellence, customer intimacy, product leadership, and strategic agility. This research having 92 companies, both private companies and state-owned companies, for research sample and performed using quantitative methods with structural equation modeling- partial least square (SEM-PLS) approach. Result of the research shows that EAM positively related to the IT related benefits perceived by the company, especially to the IT efficiency and strategic alignment, the IT related benefits have positive impacts to the business related benefits perceived by the company particularly on the impacts of information availability that improved companies’ customer intimacy and product leadership, and the EAM  have positive impacts to the business related benefits perceived by the company foremost on companies’ operational excellence and strategic agility. Those reasons prove that EAM can improve the achievement of business related benefit through the attainment of related benefits."

"Proses eksplorasi dan produksi pada industri hulu minyak dan gas bumi membutuhkan pasokan barang dengan karakteristik yang spesifik, berteknologi mutakhir, dan memerlukan ketepatan waktu yang tinggi. Kesalahan pasokan barang akan mengakibatkan kerugian dan mengancam keselamatan pekerja dan lingkungan. Karena itu proses pengadaan barang pada perusahaan hulu migas menjadi sangat sentral perannya. Tesis ini membahas tentang peran teknologi informasi dalam perbaikan proses pengadaan barang pada perusahaan hulu migas di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menelusuri keterkaitan antara implementasi teknologi informasi dengan perubahan kinerja proses pengadaan barang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil data kinerja proses pengadaan barang dari salah satu perusahaan hulu migas di Indonesia sebagai studi kasus. Kemudian penulis menggali informasi mengenai perbaikan proses pengadaan barang yang dilakukan dengan cara implementasi teknologi informasi.
Data kinerja proses pengadaan barang diambil dengan acuan SCOR Metrics dari Supply Chain Council, KPI yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan, dan pengukuran waktu proses pengadaan barang. Informasi mengenai penerapan teknologi informasi meliputi: waktu implementasi, lama pengerjaan, sumberdaya manusia yang digunakan, inisiator, alasan perbaikan proses, tipe solusi teknologi informasi, dan pola perbaikan proses. Kedua data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis time series, untuk melihat perubahan kinerja sebelum dan sesudah implementasi teknologi informasi.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan perbaikan sistem informasi proses pengadaan barang ikut meningkatkan kinerja proses pengadaan barang. Penerapan teknologi informasi menjadi sarana bagi manajemen untuk menerapkan kebijakan baru dan memantau jalannya proses untuk mendongkrak kinerja proses.

Exploration and production process in upstream oil and gas industry needmaterial with specific characteristic, hi-tech, and on time delivery. Material procurement mistaken will cause a loss and can be danger for the employee safety and environment. That?s why material supply have important role for such company.
This thesis will discuss about the information technology's role on the procurement process improvement. This research analyzes correlation between IT implementation and the alteration of the procurement process performance. Study case is held on the one of Indonesian upstream Oil and Gas Company in order to gather data of procurement process performance. Then we dig the information of such process improvement implementing information technology. Procurement process performance data are taken by refering to SCOR metrics from the Supply Chain Council, company's KPI, and procurement process lead time statistics. Attributes of IT implementation data are: implementation time, working hour, human resource, initiator, improvement?s background, type of the IT solution and business process improvement pattern. Data are analyzed using time series analysis method in order to see process performance alteration before and after the IT implementation.
The result of analysis confirms the contribution of IT implementation on upstream oil and gas company procurement process performance improvement. Information technology rule in process improvement can be determined using time series analysis on process performance data. It also shows that IT can be applied as a tool for the management applying new policy to improve and control procurement process performance.
