Abstrak :

Penggunaan media sosial tidak dapat dihindari lagi sebagai bagian dari strategi persuasi modern. Cerita yang menarik disampaikan melalui digital storytelling  adalah hal yang ampuh dalam persuasi. Tesis ini membahas topik persuasi kebijakan publik yang dibangun Kementerian ESDM melalui digital storytelling dikanal Youtube nya dan mengidentifikasi sumber semiotik yang digunakan sebagai elemen pembentukan makna persuasi dalam youtube Kementerian ESDM. Penelitian   ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis multimodal dengan pendekatan Sistemik Fungsional (Systemic Functional Multimodal Analysis). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Kementerian ESDM telah membangun persuasi kebijakan publiknya melalui digital storytelling dikanal Youtube nya hal ini dapat dilihat dari plot, setting dan karakter. Penyusunan plot dalam ketiga video menghadirkan cerita bergerak menuju akhir yang bahagia (happy-ending story). Setting / latar cerita tiga video tersebut berada didaerah tertinggal dan terpencil untuk menguatkan persuasi dan makna naratif bahwa kebijakan publik dari Kementerian ESDM telah tepat karena menjangkau rakyat yang belum tersentuh ketersediaan air dan listrik. Karakter melalui narator dalam video mempunyai fungsi menyampaikan pandanganya terhadap kebijakan publik yang telah dirasakan kehadiranya. Temuan lainnya adalah dalam membangun persuasi kebijakan publiknya, Kementerian ESDM telah menggunakan sejumlah sumber semiotik sebagai elemen pembentuk makna seperti partisipan, kinesics action, locative circumstance, visual collocation maupun speech.


The focus of this study is the The used of social media is inevitable as part of a modern persuasion strategy. Interesting stories delivered through digital storytelling are powerful things in persuasion. This thesis discussed about the topic of public policy persuasion that was built by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) through its digital storytelling canalical and identifies semiotic sources that are used as formation elements of persuasion meaning in the MEMR youtube. This research was a qualitative research using multimodal analysis with a Systemic Functional Multimodal Analysis. This study discovered  the MEMR has built its public policy persuasion through its digital storytelling on Youtube, which can be seen from plots, settings and characters. Arranging plots in all three videos presents stories moving towards  (happy-ending story). The story setting of the three video stories located in small and isolated area that affirmed the persuasion and narrative meaning that the public policy of the MEMR was appropriate because it reaches people who had not been touched by the availability of water and electricity. The character in the video has the function of conveying his views on the public policies that he has been feeling. Another discovered was develop public policy persuasion, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has used a number of semiotic sources as elements that form meaning such as participants, kinesics action, locative circumstances, visual collocation and speech.

Anak Usia sekolah merupakan masa pengembangan kompetensi dan identitas diri. Anak–anak akan tumbuh dan berkembang secara fisik, emosional dan sosial. Anak usia sekolah merupakan generasi yang perlu dijaga, ditingkatkan dan dilindungi kesehatannya. Digital Storytelling meruapakan video media Pendidikan keperawatan yang menggunakan teknologi dalam bercerita seperti grafik, audio, teks, video dan animasi yang menghidupkan karakter, situasi, pengalaman dan pemahaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Digital Storytelling terhadap peningkatan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat tentang pencegahan diare pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Desain penelitian ini adalah  Nonequivalent control group pretest posttest design, pada pemilihan responden dilakukan dengan Teknik simple random sampling terhaddap sekolah yang akan menjadi kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah responden pada masing – masing kelompok intervensi dan kontrol sebanyak 94 responden. Intervensi  Digital Storytelling  pada anak usia sekolah dilakukan 3 sesi selama 3 hari dengan waktu 45 – 60 menit dalam 1 sesi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan paired te test dan independent t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa karakteristik anak usia sekolah Sebagian besar responden berusia 11 tahun (74,46%),berjenis kelamin perempuan (52,13%) dan Riwayat kesehatan  ISPA  (43,08%). Terdapat pengaruh positif  terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan (p value < 0,05), sikap  (p value < 0,05) dan keerampilan (p value < 0,05 ) tentang pencegahan diare. Digital Storytelling disarankan dapat digunakan menjadi alternatif media promosi kesehatan di sekolah. ......School age children are period competency development and self identity. Children will grow and develop physically, emotionally and socially. School age children are generation that needs to be maintained, improved and protected for their health. Digital storytelling is a nursing education media that uses technology in storytelling such as graphics, audio, txt, video and animation that brings characters, situations, experiences. The purpose of this study was to determine Digital Storytelling to improve clean and healthy behavior about prevention of diarrhea among school age children. This study design was Nonequivalent control group pretest posttest design. Samples were taken by simple random sampling against schools that will become interventions and control groups. The number of respondents in the intervention group and control group were similar to 94 people. Digital storytelling is carried out 3 sessions for 3 days with 45 – 60 minutes in 1 session. The research instrument used is questionnaire. Data analysis used paired t test and independent t test. The results showed that the most of respondents were 11 years  (74.46%), female (52.13%) and ARI medical history (43.08%). There was a positive influence on increasing knowledge (p value < 0.05), attitude (p value < 0.05) and performance (p value < 0.05) about diarrhea prevention. Digital storytelling is suggested to be used an alternative health promotion media in schools

Penggunaan konsep storytelling menjadi semakin meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan program konten storytelling Instagram Ganjar Pranowo menggunakan fitur reels dalam perspektif pengguna aktif Instagram sebagai upaya persuasi publik dan menjelaskan bentuk storytelling pemimpin jawa tengah di fitur reels instagram. Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar hadirnya rivalitas calon kandidat presiden antar Ganjar Pranowo dan Puan Maharani yang terjadi di tahun 2021-2022, selalu menghiasi pemberitaan media secara nasional. Tesis ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis multimodalitas. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Ganjar Pranowo menggunakan media sosial Instagram untuk menarik dukungan kalangan muda dan menggunakan elemen storytelling diantaranya plot, struktur cerita, soundtrack, hero, dan emosi, dalam upaya mempersuasi publik di Instagram. Dalam kasus ini juga ditemukan bahwa aktivitas storytelling Ganjar menarik karena membagikan konten bersifat cinta keluarga, cinta wong cilik, dan cinta toleransi. Sehingga dapat diterima oleh semua kalangan masyarakat, membuat namanya semakin populer di media sosial instagram. ......The use of the storytelling concept is increasing along with the growth in the use of social media. This study has a purpose, namely to describe Ganjar Pranowo's Instagram storytelling content program using the reels feature from the perspective of active Instagram users as an effort to persuade the public and explain the form of storytelling of Central Java leaders in the Instagram reels feature. This research was conducted based on the presence of rivalry between the presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo and Puan Maharani that occurred in 2021-2022, always adorning the national media coverage. This thesis uses a qualitative approach with a multimodality analysis method. This study found that Ganjar Pranowo uses Instagram social media to attract support from young people and uses storytelling elements including plot, story structure, soundtrack, hero, and emotion, to persuade the public on Instagram. In this case, it was also found that Ganjar's storytelling activity was interesting because he shared content that was family love, love for the poor, and love for tolerance. So that it can be accepted by all circles of society, making his name increasingly popular on Instagram social media.

Jurnal ini membahas keunggulan digital storytelling pada media alternatif: Middle East Monitor sebagai upaya contra-flow dalam menyajikan berita krisis pengungsi di eropa. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa digital storytelling memiliki keunggulan dalam upaya contra-flow terhadap pemberitaan krisis pengungsi yakni memberi pengalaman lebih interaktif terkait dilema pengungsi di tengah krisis, menarik pembaca untuk mengetahui narasi berita sampai akhir, dan menyajikan berita krisis pengungsi yang relatif sesuai dengan Refugee Reporting Guide dari Ethical Journalism Network. ......This journal discusses the advantages of digital storytelling on alternative media: Middle East Monitor as a means for contra-flow in presenting news of the refugee crisis in Europe. The results of the study suggest that the digital storytelling has an excellence in contra-flow efforts towards the reporting of the refugee crisis which provides more interactive experiences related to refugee dilemmas in the midst of crisis, attracts readers to finish the story from the feature , present refugee crisis news based on Refugee Reporting Guide from the Ethical Journalism Network.

Tesis ini merupakan studi evaluasi terhadap upaya kampanye komunikasi publik pemerintah melalui digital storytellingyang ditujukan kepada generasi milenial. Digital storytelling merupakan sala satu media persuasi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi milenial. Perubahan perilaku dan pemahaman dapat terjadi jika generasi milenial sebagai sasaran kampanye mengalami proses transportasi naratif dimana audiens terlibat penuh dengan narasi. Transportasi naratif dikaji dari sisi kualitas narasi dengan penilaian standar koherensi dan elemen dalam cerita, serta telaah persepsi dan pengalaman individu sebagai audiens. Unsur emosional merupakan elemen penting yang harus ada dan kuat dalam suatu narasi agar transportasi naratif dapat terjadi. ......This thesis is an evaluation study of the government's public communication campaign efforts through digital storytelling aimed at the millennial generation. Digital storytelling is one medium of persuasion that fits the characteristics of the millennial generation. Behavior change and understanding can occur if the millennial generation as the target of the campaign experiences a narrative transportation process where the audience is involved fully with narration. Narrative transportation is assessed in terms of narrative quality with a standard assessment of coherence and elements in the story, as well as reviewing the perceptions and experiences of individuals as audiences. Emotional elements are important elements that must exist and are strong in a narrative so that narrative transportation can occur.
