Abstrak :
Dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya suatu kontroversi terhadap pemikiran etika Confucius mengenai hierarki moral di masa kini. Penelitian ini merupakan analisa kritis tentang teori hierarki moral Confucius. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengemukakan argumentasi logis dan relevansi tentang hierarki moral Confucius. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa argumentasi logis dari hierarki moral dapat menggunakan logika paradigmatis dengan membandingkan konsep hierarki moral Confucius dan konsep Leviathan Hobbes, selain itu dapat menggunakan teori revolusi kebudayaan dari Alvin Toffler sebagai landasan argumentasi. Hasil penelitian lainnya adalah bahwa konsep hierarki moral Confucius memiliki relevansi di masa kini. ......Based on the controversion of Confucius ethics discourse about the hierarchy moral presently. This studies about the critical analysis about the theorytical of Confucius moral hierarchies. The purposes of this studies is to show the logic argumentation and relevance of moral hierarchies of Confucius. The method used is analysis descriptive method. The studies result prove that logical argumentation from hierarchies moral using the logical paradigm with compare the concept of Confucius moral hierarchies and Hobbes Leviathan concept, instead able to use the revolution theory of culture from Alvin Toffler as a basic argumentation. Another result of this studies is the concept of Confucius moral hierarchies as a relevance for a today life.

Film Confucius ?? karya sutradara Hu Mei 2010 adalah film asal Tiongkok yang mengisahkan tentang perjalanan hidup Konfusius sekitar tahun 498 ndash;479 SM semenjak ia berusia 52 tahun ketika ia diangkat sebagai menteri hukum di Kerajaan Lu hingga ia meninggal dunia pada usia 73 tahun. Penggambaran sikap-sikap teladan tokoh Konfusius merupakan aspek utama yang ditonjolkan dalam film ini. Perilaku teladan tersebut yang pertama adalah laku bakti, kesetiaan, dan kecintaan terhadap negara dan pemimpin. Yang kedua adalah sikapnya yang selalu mengutamakan kepentingan rakyat dan kerajaan. Sikap teladannya yang ketiga adalah patuh terhadap nilai dan aturan yang berlaku di masyarakat. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis akan menjelaskan sikap-sikap teladan tokoh Konfusius dalam film Confucius ?? tersebut berdasarkan analisis dialog dan adegan dalam film.

ABSTRACT
Confucius by film director Hu Mei 2010 is a Chinese movie that tells a story of Confucius rsquo life around 498 ndash 479 BC. This movie recounts Confucius rsquo life at the age of 52 when he was promoted as law minister in Lu State, until the day he died at the age of 73. The depiction of Confucius rsquo exemplary attitudes are the prominent aspects that highlighted in this movie. Those exemplary attitudes include 1 his devotion to his country and its leaders, 2 his attitude to always prioritize the state and people rsquo interests, 3 his obedience with the existing norms and values among society. In this study, the writer will describe the exemplary attitudes of Confucius rsquo character in Confucius based on analysis both in dialogue and scenes in the movie.

Abstrak :
China's soft power is a difficult concept to measure if the Confucius Institute is the only source relied on. Joseph Nye s concept of soft power puts a strong emphasis on the power of attraction as a tool to persuade or to shape the preferences of others in the worlds of business and politics. To understand how this soft power or the Confucius Institute works, we have to determine the observable power of the intangible attraction embedded in it. This observable but intangible attraction is assumed to be embedded in the language and culture offered by the Institute, namely so called shared values. However, without having attended its classes, it is difficult to see which values are being shared with the local students. Despite this handicap, it is very apparent that the image of China itself has acted as an attraction. An attraction to China was visible already, even before the Confucius Institute was established. For Indonesians, China is a big country which has exerted its power there for a long time through its diaspora and or exports. Therefore, the Confucius Institute is just one of the many forms of Chineseness within their purview. Certainly, the Confucius Institute might have assisted in adjusting negative impressions and expelling some of the reservations the Indonesians have about China. Nevertheless, its influence extends to only a limited number of people who are closely engaged with the Institute.

The full name of Zuo Zhuan is Chun Qiu Zuo Shi Zhuan, which is one of the core Confucian classics Thirteen Classics. Zuo Zhuan is the first detailed narrative chronicle in China. It is said that Zuo Qiuming, the historian of the State of Lu in the late Spring and Autumn Period, compiled it based on the Spring and Autumn in the history of the State of Lu. In the twenty-seventh year of Lu aigong (468 before), it mainly records important events and important figures in the political, economic, military, diplomatic and cultural aspects of various countries during the 254 years of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. It is a valuable document for studying the history of my country before the Qin Dynasty. .
