"Laporan praktikum ini bertujuan mendapatkan metode untuk  penetapan total nitrogen menggunakan reaktor COD sehingga proses analisis dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Pekerjaan ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan inovasi di perusahaan tempat penulis bekerja dan penulis bertanggungjawab sebagai koordinator laboratorium air limbah yang melakukan verifikasi terhadap hasil data Analisis.Modifikasi dilakukan pada tahapan preparasi sample yang seharusnya menggunakan autoklaf, dimodifikasi menggunakan reaktor COD. Karena adanya perubahan cara kerja pada metode standar, maka dilakukan validasi terhadap metode tersebut. Hasil validasi menunjukan nilai parameter linieritas yang didapatkan adalah  koefisien korelasi 0,9985. Untuk  akurasi 91,4%, Presisi RSD ≤ 0,67 CV horwitz 8,04 <  8,26, Untuk Method Detection Limit MDL didapat nilai 0,02 mg/L. Dari ketiga parameter tersebut bisa dijadikan kesimpulan bahwa metode dapat digunakan untuk pengujian rutin Total Nitrogen. Aspek etika Insinyur dan Profesionalisme laboratorium lingkungan merujuk pada PermenLHK no 23/2020, aspek Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja juga dilakukan untuk memastikan kesesuaian kegiatan di laboratorium dengan program kerja K3L di perusahaan.

This practical report aims to obtain a method for determining total nitrogen using a COD reactor so that the analysis process can be carried out more effectively and efficiently. This work is part of innovation activities at the company where the author works and the author bids as a wastewater laboratory coordinator who verifies the results of analysis data. Modifications were made at the sample preparation stage, which should have used an autoclave, modified using a COD reactor. Due to changes in the way the standard method works, validation of the method is carried out. The validation results show that the linearity parameter value obtained is a correlation coefficient of 0.9985. For an accuracy of 91.4%, Precision RSD ≤ 0.67 CV Horwitz 8.04 < 8.26. For the MDL Limit Detection Method, a value of 0.02 mg/L is obtained. From these third parameters it can be concluded that the method can be used for routine testing of Total Nitrogen. Aspects of Engineer Ethics and Professionalism in the Laboratory Environment Referring to Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 23/2020, Occupational Safety and Health aspects are also carried out to ensure the suitability of laboratory activities with the company's K3L work program."
