"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengacu pada suatu permasalah pokok, yaitu isu-isu perempuan yang ditampilkan dalam puisi Ballade vom Paragraphen 218 karya pengarang laki-laki, Bertolt Brecht. Isu-isu perempuan yang diangkat terutama berkaitan dengan tuntutan peran maternal dan opresi tubuh perempuan yang membatasi kebebasan hak perempuan. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teori Kritik Sastra Feminis KSF , teori Sexual Politics Kate Millet serta pandangan Michel Foucault terhadap politik tubuh perempuan terkait kekuasaan. Tuntutan peran maternal dan opresi tubuh perempuan tergambar melalui dialog antar tokoh dalam puisi Ballade vom Paragraphen 218, selain itu tergambar pula nada kritik dan efek persuasif dalam puisi ini setelah menganalisis unsur-unsur intrinsik dan hakikat puisi Ballade vom Paragraphen 218.Kata kunci: Bertolt Brecht, Ballade vom Paragraphen 218, feminisme, peran maternal, opresi tubuh perempuan, peran seksual.

AbstractIn the poem Ballade vom Paragraphen 218 by a German poet, Bertolt Brecht, several issues of women implicitely presented .The women 39 s issues that are presented mainly relate to the demands of maternal role and oppression of female body that limit women 39 s rights and freedom. To analyse the women issues in this poem, the author uses the theory of Feminist Literary Criticism, Kate Millet 39 s Sexual Politics Theory and Michel Foucault 39 s view of women 39 s body politics that related to power. The demands of maternal role and oppression of female body are implied through the dialogues between characters in Ballade vom Paragraphen 218. Besides the critical tone and persuasive effects also found in this poem after analyzing intrinsic elements of Ballade vom Paragraphen 218 poem."

"Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan tiga fase dialektika yang terkandung dalam lima sajak karya Bertolt Brecht, yaitu Lob der Dia1ektik, Das Lied vom Wasserrad, Der >Aus Nichts wird Nichts< Song, Ballade yon Tropfen auf den hei_en Stein dan Der Schneider von Ulm.Teori yang digunakan untuk mendukung analisis lima sajak diatas adalah teori dialektika Marx dan juga pendapat Brecht sendiri mengenai sastra dan dialektika. "ABSTRACTTujuan utama dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah menjelaskan bahwa Verfrerndungseffekt tidak hanya dapat ditemukan di dalam karya Brecht yang berbentuk drama, namun juga dalam bentuk lainnya sepereti Geschichten vom Herrn Kenner yang berbentuk prosa. Selain itu, skripsi ini juga menjelaskan tentang makna dan pengaruh Verfremdungseffekt dalam karya Brecht ini. Teori yang dipakai dalam skripsi ini adalah perbandingan konsep Yerfremdungseikt menurut Aristoteles dan Bertolt Brecht, juga dijabarkan tentang spesifikasi Geschichten vom Herrn Keuner. Dari hasil penulisan skripsi ini, saya dapat menyimpulkan bahwa Verfremdungseffekt tidak hanya dapat ditemukan dalam karya Brecht yang berbentuk drama, namun juga dalam bentuk lainnya, misalnya prosa. Karena bentuknya yang berbeda dengan drama, maka Brecht menggunakan cara yang berbeda dalam menerapkan Verfremdungsefekt tersebut dalam karyanya ini, namun tujuan utama dari Verfremdungseffekt tetap dapat diraih, yaitu sikap kritis pembaca.
