Abstrak :
Beberapa tahun terakhir, petani kelapa sawit Di Desa Toman yang menggantungkan hidupnya di sektor pertanian kelapa sawit berada pada posisi yang rentan. Di tengah kondisi kerentanan tersebut, mereka harus menghadapi proses peremajaan kelapa sawit yang membuat mereka kehilangan mata pencaharian dan sumber pendapatan utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan strategi adaptasi petani kelapa sawit dalam mempertahankan mata pencahariannya selama masa peremajaan kelapa sawit dengan menganalisa aktivitas, faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam melakukan strategi adaptasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan informan yang terdiri dari pemerintah desa, KUD Makmur, dan petani kelapa sawit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi adaptasi pada petani kelapa sawit dilakukan melalui aktivitas produksi dan aktivitas konsumsi. Aktivitas produksi yang dilakukan petani kelapa sawit seperti nelayan, buruh pabrik dan buruh tani, berternak, bertani sayuran, dan membuka usaha kecil-kecilan, sedangkan aktivitas konsumsi yang dilakukan petani kelapa sawit seperti meminimalisir pengeluaran dan meminjam uang dengan memanfaatkan jaringan sosial. Kemudian adanya faktor- faktor pada petani kelapa sawit dalam melakukan strategi adaptasi yaitu faktor pendukung internal (istri, anak, dan keluarga lainnya), faktor pendukung eksternal (tetangga, pemerintah desa, KUD Makmur, dan PT. PI, serta faktor penghambat (masalah finansial dan minimnya pengetahuan petani kelapa sawit). Hasil penelitian ini juga menyarankan kepada pihak pemerintah desa, petani kelapa sawit, dan KUD Makmur untuk lebih memperhatikan petani kelapa sawit dengan meminimalisir faktor penghambat pada petani kelapa sawit selama masa peremajaan kelapa sawit

In recent years, the economic sustainability of oil palm farmers In the Toman village who have depended on the oil palm agriculture sector is in vulnerable state because of their low income. In addition to that difficult situation, the farmers have to face another issue which is replanting oil palm that took place simultaneously. This research aims to describe the adaptation strategy by the oil palm farmers during the oil palm’s replanting program to maintain their livelihood, by analyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the adaption strategy. This research conducted by qualitative approach and applies descriptive research. The data collection conducted through observation and in-depth interview with informants who were composed of the local government, the local cooperative (KUDMakmur), and the oil palm farmers. The result shows that two form of oil palm farmers’s adaptation strategy persist during replanting program to sustain their livelihood which are; first, production activities and second, consumption activities. Production and income activities done by oil palm farmers such as working as fishermen, factory workers and farm laborers, livestock raising, vegetable farming, and opening small businesses; while consumption activities done by oil palm farmers such as reducing expenses and borrowing money by utilizing their social networks. Furthermore, there are contributing factors of oil palm farmers’s adaptation strategy, namely, livelihood asset. The results of this research also suggest the local government, oil palm farmers, and local cooperative (KUD Makmur) to give more attention by minimizing inhibiting factors for oil palm farmers during the replanting program

Abstrak :
The objectives of this research are 1) analyses the influence of exposure innovation information, human capital , innovation promotion, and rate of adoption of corn innovation toward social capital ; and 2) analyses the influence of social capital exposure innovation information. The research was conducted in East Lombok regency, west Nusa Tenggara Province, from July to October 2008. The research it used survey method with combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. data of the research were collected through an in-depth interview on 220 respondents and 12 informants. Based on result of the research , it is concluded that social capital was significantly influenced by factors such us the innovation communication intensity, work motivation, farmer's attitude, innovation economic benefit value, market availability and rate of adoption of corn innovation. The factors was significantly influenced toward rate of adaption of corn innovation were social capital, information access of innovation, innovation availability, and market availability. However, in adoption process of corn innovation, farmer's exposure toward innovation information, human capital and innovation promotion worked through the social capital. The capital is one of the factors required to consider in improving the adaption of corn innovation, so the revitalization of social capital should be done by using various of cohesively approaches.

Penelitian ini mendekskripsikan proses adaptasi antar budaya pada pasangan yang menikah melalui proses ta'aruf. Setiap individu yang menjalani proses ta'aruf tentu memiliki konsekuensi, seperti adanya ketidakpastian dan suliatnya beradaptasi, ditambah lagi dengan rumitnya pengelolaan konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigman konstruktivis, dengan pendekatan kualitatif, strategi fenomenologi, serta bersifat deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, dengan menggunakan teori budaya, adaptasi budaya, konsep diri, pengurangan ketidakpastian, dan konflik. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa latar belakang budaya, seperti latar belakang pendidikan dan asal negara individu memiliki kontribusi dalam proses adaptasi dan pengelolaan konflik. ......This Study describes the process og intercultural adaptation in married couples through the ta'aruf process. Every individual does the ta'aruf process certainly have consequences, such as uncertainty, difficulty of adapting and managing conflict. This study uses a constructivist paradigm, with a qualitative approach, the strategy phenomenology, as well as descriptive. The process of collecting data is in-dept interviews, using the theory of culture, cultural adaption, self concept, uncertainty, and conflict. The results of this study that background culture such as educational and country have contribute to the adaption process and conflict management.

Perawat sebagai pemberi asuhan mempunyai peran penting untuk dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan perempuan. Perawat menjalankan peran dan fungsi sebagai pemberi pelayanan keperawatan, konselor, advokat, educator, koordinator, pengelola, kolaborator, dan peneliti dalam upaya meningkatkan kesehatan reproduksi perempuan, selama melaksanakan praktek baik di rumah sakit maupun di komunitas. Salah satu masalah reproduksi pada perempuan adalah molahidatidosa, teori yang diaplikasikan adalah fokus penerapan adaptasi Roy dan Caring Swanson pada ibu dengan post kuretase mola hidatidosa. Penerapan teori ini terbukti dapat memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada klien secara komprehensif. Tujuan dari laporan ini adalah memberikan gambaran tentang pelaksanaan praktik residensi ners spesialis dalam pengelolaan kasus klien dengan mola hidatidosa, dan pelaporan evidence based practic nursing tentang Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique, Pencapaian kompetensi Perawat Spesialis Maternitas dilakukan melalui peran perawat secara komprehensif. ......Nurses, as caregivers, have important role in improving woman's health standard. Either in the hospital or in the community, nurses also serve as caretaker, counselor, advocate, educator, coordinator, organizer, collaborator, and researcher in order to improve the woman's reproduction health. One of the case in womans's reproduction health is hydatidiform mole, This study used Roy and Caring Swanson adaptation. The theory was applied on posthydatidiform mole curettage patients. The intervention was proven to be able to give the nursing care comprehensively. The report aimed at describing the nursing residency specialist practice in hydatidiform mole patient management. The achievement of maternity nursing specialist was undergone through comprehensive nurse's roles.

Abstrak :
The prevalence of chronic renal failure in Indonesia tends to increase in the lower age group (45–54 years). Chronic renal failure may lead to impaired sexual function. A descriptive phenomenology study with in-depth interviews was carried out with 12 participants, and thematic content analysis was applied. Six themes were revealed, as follows: 1) adaptation process to sexual dysfunction experienced, 2) sexual dysfunction experience, 3) importance of fulfilling sexuality needs, 4) behavior in dealing with sexual dysfunction, 5) perception of the cause of sexual dysfunction, and 6) participants’ expectation of health service related to sexual function. The experience of adapting to sexual dysfunction became a meaningful process through partner involvement. Similar research involving more heterogeneous samples would benefit further discourse.
