Penelitian tesis ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena keterpilihan A.M. Fatwa sebagai anggota DPD RI dalam dua periode berturut-turut sejak Pemilu tahun 2009. Keluarnya Keputusan Mahkamah Kontitusi terhadap judicial review Undang-Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2008 tentang diperbolehkannya calon anggota DPD dari Partai Politik terutama pada Pasal (12) dan Pasal (67) mengenai syarat anggota DPD telah mengubah konstelasi politik pada Pemilu anggota DPD. A.M.Fatwa muncul sebagai tokoh partai politik yang mampu menggalang dukungan masyarakat sehingga terpilih menjadi anggota DPD pada dua gelaran Pemilu 2009 dan 2014 di daerah pemilihan DKI Jakarta. Modal sosial yang dimiliki dan strategi kampanye yang dijalankan A.M. Fatwa menjadi faktor berpengaruh atas kesuksesannya pada Pemilu tahun 2009 dan 2014. Tesis ini membahas lebih mendalam untuk menemukan jawaban dari pertanyaan penelitian yakni bagaimana modal sosial dan konsep strategi kampanye politik yang dijalankan dapat menentukan keterpilihan AM. Fatwa sebagai anggota DPD RI di daerah pemilihan DKI Jakarta pada Pemilu 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep modal sosial yang digagas Fukuyama, Robert Putnam, dan Nan Lin dalam menganalisa modal sosial yang dimiliki dan dimanfaatkan A.M.Fatwa sebagai faktor determinan pada Pemilu 2014. Sedangkan kajian pada aspek strategi kampanye, teori yang diungkap Riswandha Imawan tentang door to door campaign dan direct mass campaign, serta teori media kampanye dan komunikasi yamg ditulis Harsono Suardi menjadi teori yang relevan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) terhadap A.M.Fatwa sendiri dengan Khoirun Ketua Fatwa Center, sekaligus tim sukses, Lukman sebagai asisten A.M.Fatwa, Serta telaah dokumentasi juga dilakukan sebagai sumber data sekunder. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial dan strategi kampanye menjadi faktor yang berpengaruh besar terhadap keterpilihan A.M.Fatwa sebagai anggota DPD Periode 2014-2019. Penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi dan menegaskan teori yang di ungkapkan Fukuyama, Robert Putnam, dan Nan Lin tentang modal sosial. Penelitian ini juga telah membuktikan bahwa konsep srategi yang di ungkapkan Riswandha Imawan tentang door to door campaign dan direct mass campaign, serta teori media kampanye dan komunikasi yamg ditulis Harsono Suardi menjadi strategi efektif dalam meraih perolehan suara dalam pemilu. ......Based on the election of A.M.Fatwa as a member of DPD RI for two consecutive periods since the 2009 Election, this thesis shows that the decision of the Contitusional Court toward the judical review of Constution No.10 of 2008, mainyl on Article 12 and Article 67, regarding permitting members of political constellation of the DPD election. A.M.Fatwa emerged as a prominent political party figure. Having the abilities to weld support from the people, he is able to be elected twice in the Jakarta Capital Region. His social capital and campaign strategy is major during his DPD RI Election in 2009 and 2014. This thesis will discuss further on how A.M.Fatwa's social capital and political campaign strategy became a deciding factor in his being a member of DPD RI representing Jakarta Capital Region in the 2014 election. In analyzing the social capital owned and implemented by A.M.Fatwa as the determining factor in the 2014 Election, this research applies the social capitalconcept iniated by Fukuyama, Robert Putnam, and Nan Lin. In analyzing the campaign strategy, Riswandha Imawan's door to door compaign and direct mass campaign, as well as Harsono Suwardi's theory of campaign media and communication are used due to their relevance. This research is compassed using a qualitative approach, and is analytically descriptive. Furthermore, the information gathered on A.M. Fatwa are collected through in-depth interview with Khoirun, the head of Fatwa Center as well as a member of the team that brougth the election to its success, An in-depth interview with A.M.Fatwa's assitant, Lukman was held to gather information. In addition, a documentation was executed as a from of secondary data source. The principal findings of this study shows that the social capital and campaign strategy is a major influencing factor in A.M.Fatwa's DPD election during the 2009-2014 Period. This research confirmed and affired thoery which was relevaed by Fukuyama, Robert Putnam, and Nan Lin about social capital. This research also proved that the strategy concept revealed by Riswandha Imawan about door to door campaign and direct mass campagin, and the campaign media and communication theories written by Harsono Suardi became the effective strategy in gaining the A.M.Fatwa vote ini 2014 General Election.

Tesis ini membahas kolaborasi citizen journalist dan jurnalis professional di media online, khususnya di media online Hipwee. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan strategi penelitian single case study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi citizen journalist dan media online Hipwee dilakukan melalui platform Hipwee Community. Bentuk kolaborasi yang dilakukan oleh citizen journalist (kontributor) dan Hipwee adalah pembuatan konten tulisan dan video, pengembangan kanal Hipwee, pembelajaran menulis di kegiatan online dan offline dan penyebaran informasi kepada masyarakat terkait berbagai kegiatan Hipwee. Namun kolaborasi ini tidak berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karakteristik media online, peran jurnalis professional, jurnalis amatir, peran editor dan syarat inti kolaborasi Pro-Am journalism ‘Bruns’ mempengaruhi kolaborai citizen journalist dan jurnalis professional di media online. ......This thesis discusses the collaboration of citizen journalists and professional journalists in online media, especially in Hipwee online media. This research is a qualitative research with a case study method with a single case study research strategy. The results showed that the collaboration of citizen journalist and online media Hipwee was carried out through the Hipwee Community platform. Forms of collaboration undertaken by citizen journalists (contributors) and Hipwee are the creation of written and video content, the development of Hipwee channels, learning to write in online and offline activities and the dissemination of information to the public regarding various Hipwee activities. But this collaboration did not go well. The study revealed that the characteristics of online media, the role of professional journalists, amateur journalists, the role of editors and the core conditions of Pro-Am journalism 'Bruns' collaboration influence the collaboration of citizen journalists and professional journalists in online media.

Sistem pemancaran radio AM merupakan salah satu modulasi yang masih ada hingga saat ini. Jumlah stasiun radio yang menggunakan sistem pemancaran ini berangsur-angsur berkurang. Walaupun jumlah stasiun radio yang dimaksud berkurang, tidak berarti sistem pemancaran ini bersih dari interferensi. Interferensi gelombang ini terjadi karena penataan frekuensi tidak dilakukan secara benar. Untuk dapat melakukan penataan frekuensi secara benar, maka diperlukan analisis yang mendalam tentang propagasi gelombang yang digunakan pada system pemancaran radio AM.

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh kuat medan pada penerimaan sinyal radio AM. Pengaruh yang dimaksud ialah pengaruh konduktivitas tanah dan jarak antar penerima dan pemancar pada propagasi ground wave. Selain itu, pengaruh waktu dan aktivitas matahari pada propagasi sky wave juga dianalisis.

Pengumpulan dan perhitungan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software ChirPlus. Analisis propagasi ground wave menggunakan teori bumi datar Sommerfeld-Norton dan model refleksi plane-earth two-ray. Analisis propagasi sky wave dengan menggunakan ITU-R Rec. P.435-7, ITU-R Rec. P.1147-1, software ITU-R untuk menghitung kuat medan propagasi sky wave pada gelombang menengah, dan dengan menghubungkan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi pada saat propagasi dengan fenomena yang terjadi pada setiap lapisan ionosfer.

Dari hasil analisis dapat ditunjukkan bahwa pada propagasi ground wave, kuat medan berbanding terbalik dengan jarak dan berbanding lurus dengan konduktivitas tanah. Pada propagasi sky wave, kuat medan akan minimum pada siang hari dan maksimum pada malam hari dengan selisih antara keduanya adalah 29-30 dBµV/m untuk jarak pemancar-penerima antara 20-60 km. Variasi kuat medan per bulan tiap tahun di Indonesia sangat kecil karena kondisi musim yang cenderung stabil. Selain itu, nilai sunspot tidak mempengaruhi propagasi sky wave di Indonesia.
Broadcast system of AM radio uses analog modulation that is categorized as amplitude modulation. The broadcast system still exists until today although total radio stations which use this technique decreases gradually. Despite the number of radio stations lessens, it doesn?t mean that the system is interference-free. Interference is happened because the frequency allocation isn?t ordered well. To make frequency allocation structured, analysis about wave propagation used on the broadcast system is needed.

This paper is made to analyze field strength parameter on AM receiver. On ground wave propagation, parameters analyzed are ground conductivity and distance between transmitter and receiver. On sky wave propagation, time and solar activity are the parameters that are chosen to analyze.

Selection and computation samples are provided by ChirPlus software. To analyze ground wave propagation, Sommerfeld-Norton flat-earth theory and plane-earth two-ray reflection model are used. ITU-R Rec. P.435-7 and ITU-R Rec. P.1147-1, and software from ITU-R for predicting field strength on sky wave propagation are applied to analyze parameters that influence field strength on AM receiver. Phenomenon on ionosphere is used as an addition on the analysis of sky wave propagation.

Based on analysis on ground wave propagation, it is concluded that field strength is proportional to ground conductivity and is inversely proportional to distance. On sky wave propagation, field strength will reach minimum on day and will reach maximum on night. The difference between minimum and maximum field strength is 29-30 dBµV/m for a 20-km until a 60-km distance. The diversity of monthly field strength in Indonesia is low because of the steady season condition. Another result of the analysis is sunspot number doesn?t affect sky wave propagation in Indonesia.

This book provides a wealth of practical guidance on how to design parts to gain the maximum benefit from what additive manufacturing (AM) can offer. It begins by describing the main AM technologies and their respective advantages and disadvantages. It then examines strategic considerations in the context of designing for additive manufacturing (DfAM), such as designing to avoid anisotropy, designing to minimize print time, and post-processing, before discussing the economics of AM. The following chapters dive deeper into computational tools for design analysis and the optimization of AM parts, part consolidation, and tooling applications. They are followed by an in-depth chapter on designing for polymer AM and applicable design guidelines, and a chapter on designing for metal AM and its corresponding design guidelines. These chapters also address health and safety, certification and quality aspects. A dedicated chapter covers the multiple post-processing methods for AM, offering the reader practical guidance on how to get their parts from the AM machine into a shape that is ready to use. The books final chapter outlines future applications of AM.

Selective laser melting (SLM) has established itself as the most prominent additive manufacturing (AM) process for metallic structures in aerospace, automotive and medical industries. For a reliable employment of this process, it has to conform to the demanding requirements of these industries in terms of quasistatic and, especially, fatigue performance. Shafaqat Siddique identifies the influence of SLM processing conditions on the microstructural features, and their corresponding influence on the mechanical behavior of the processed AlSi12 alloy structures. The author also gives insight into integrated manufacturing by combining conventional and SLM processes to get the synergic benefits. Requirements for fatigue-resistant designs in additive manufacturing are highlighted, and a novel method is developed for agile fatigue life prediction.
