Abstrak :
While working on architectural visualizations, the software developer often has to work with graphic designers who create models in a different environment what can cause many complications. For this reason, it is very important to have some guidelines which can protect both the developer and the designer from commixing mistakes. The paper presents a list of such guidelines based on the authors experience. The reader can treat the paper as a first step in the development of a service based on cloud computing that verifies the correctness of graphical data in urban visualizations.

Abstrak :
Mixed-use building secara struktural dapat diartikan sebagai struktur podium yang memiliki beberapa tower, dimana seringkali dalam analisis, struktur podium dan tower dimodelkan secara terpisah dengan mengasumsikan terjepit pada level atap podium. Pada penulisan ini akan dilakukan analisis dinamik 3D struktur podium yang memiliki beberapa tower sebagai satu kesatuan dengan bantuan program Etabs untuk mengetahui nilai diaphragm mass, eigenvector, dan periode dari struktur tersebut. Kemudian perhitungan akan dilakukan secara manual untuk mengetahui faktor partisipasi massa dan gaya geser dari masing-masing subsistem yang terdiri dari tower dan podium. Dari hasil simulasi dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa periode getar struktur podium multi tower lebih ditentukan oleh periode getar dari sub-struktur tower yang tertinggi atau sub-struktur yang memiliki kekakuan yang kecil. Nilai faktor partisipasi massa total struktur walaupun nilainya kecil tetapi tidak bisa diabaikan karena masih mempunyai kontribusi yang cukup signifikan terhadap respons struktur secara keseluruhan. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa gaya geser di atap podium pada analisis secara terpisah memberikan hasil yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan analisis secara lengkap sehingga dari segi keamanan, analisis secara terpisah lebih aman dibandingkan dengan analisis secara lengkap, namun dari segi desain analisis terpisah tidak ekonomis dibandingkan dengan analisis secara lengkap. ......A Mixed-use building, in structural can be interpret as a podium structure with several towers, which common in analyzing modeled separately by means the towers assumed to be fixed at podium's roof level. In this study, 3D dynamic analysis will be performed by ETABS program to find out diaphragm mass, eigenvector, and period of the multi towers podium structure which is modeled completely as a unity. Then, manual calculation will be performed to find out mass participation factors and shear force from each of sub-system that consists of tower and podium. From simulation and analysis show that the period of vibration of multi towers podium structure more dominate by the period of vibration from the sub-structure that have highest tower or from the sub-structure that have small stiffness. Total mass participation factors of structures even have a small value but it can't be ignore because is still has a significant contribution to the response of the whole structures. The result also shows that the shear force at podium's roof level from separate analysis bigger than complete analysis, so from the safety aspect, separate analysis safer than complete analysis, but from the design aspect, complete analysis more economic than separate analysis.

This book discusses the latest advances in manufacturing and process control, with a special emphasis on digital manufacturing and intelligent technologies for manufacturing and industrial processes control. The human aspect of the developed technologies and products, their interaction with the users, as well as sustainability issues, are covered in detail. Development of new products using 3D printers, rapid prototyping systems, remote fabrication, and other advanced techniques, is described in detail, highlighting the state-of-the-art and current challenges.
