Abstrak :
Structural realism has rapidly gained in popularity in recent years, but it has splintered into many distinct denominations, often underpinned by diverse motivations. There is, no monolithic position known as ?structural realism,? but there is a general convergence on the idea that a central role is to be played by relational aspects over object-based aspects of ontology. What becomes of causality in a world without fundamental objects? In this book, the foremost authorities on structural realism attempt to answer this and related questions, ?what is structure?? and ?what is an object?? Also featured are the most recent advances in structural realism, including the intersection of mathematical structuralism and structural realism, and the latest treatments of laws and modality in the context of structural realism.

Abstrak :
This descriptive-qualitative research looked at the toponym of Battangan village which is located under Sumenep Regency, Madura. The data were drawn from library research and interviews. The data were analysed using hermeneutic approach. The research result shows that the story about the origin of Batangan village reveals three identities of the local society which cannot be separated from the Madurese culture. The three identities are Islamic spirit, moral, and the characteristics of the local society.

Penelitian ini membahas dua puisi yang ditulis oleh penyair Arab Palestina dan non Palestina dengan tujuan untuk melihat gambaran tentang Yerusalem dari dua sudut pandang penyair Arab yang berbeda negaranya. Dalam menganalisis puisi-puisi tersebut, digunakan metode deskriptif analistis, yaitu dimulai dengan pengumpulan data tentang Yerusalem, baik yang akan dijadikan korpus penelitian, maupun yang akan digunakan sebagai referensi. Setelah dipilih, baru kemudian dianalisis dengan metode strukturalisme, yaitu metode yang hanya meneliti unsur bagian dalam dari puisi tersebut. Yang dijadikan korpus dalam penelitian ini adalah dua puisi berbahasa Arab dari dua penyair Arab Palestina dan non-Palestina. Selain metode strukturalisme, digunakan juga metode perbandingan, untuk melihat persamaan dan perbedaan dari kedua puisi tersebut. Bagian yang akan dibandingkan dalam kedua puisi ini adalah bagian afinitasnya, yaitu unsur-unsur intrinsik yang ada di dalamnya, bukan adat istiadat atau kesejarahannya. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dan persamaan antara kedua puisi tersebut baik dari bentuk maupun isinya. Puisi Tamim lebih bersifat prismatis, sukar dicerna, sedangkan puisi Nizar bersifat diafan, mudah dicerna. Hal ini disebabkan oleh banyaknya simbol-simbol, kata-kata konotatif atau gaya bahasa majazi yang digunakan oleh Tamim. Adapun, persamaannya adalah sama-sama mengusung tema tentang Yerusalem dan jenis puisi yang digunakan adalah jenis puisi dialog.

ABSTRACT
Research on Jerusalem has been widely conducted from its historical to its socio-political aspects. This is because Jerusalem is a region that has always experienced turmoil from time to time. This research addresses Jerusalem from another point of view, that is from the aspect of literature. This study discusses two poems written by Palestinian and non-Palestinian Arab poets in order to see a picture of Jerusalem from two different Arab poets viewpoints. In analysing the poems, a descriptive analytical method is used in the collection of data about Jerusalem for the research corpus and references. The method of comparison is also used in this research to see the similarities and differences of the two poems. The part to be compared is the affinity part, which is the intrinsic elements oin a poem. From the analysis results, it is found that there are differences and similarities between the two poems both in the form and contents. Tamims poetry is more prismatical and difficult to digest, while Nizar s poems are diaphanous and easy to digest. Meanwhile, the similarities are the same theme of Jerusalem and the dialogue type of poetry.

Tesis ini membahas pemikiran Schiller mengenai makna kebebasan melalui karya drama perdananya berjudul Die Räuber. Melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra berdasarkan strukturalisme genetik milik Lucian Goldman, ditemukan bahwa ide kebebasan dalam drama ini dipengaruhi oleh dua semangat zaman kesusastraan Jerman yaitu: aliran kesusastraan Aufklärung (1700-1780) dan aliran kesusastraan Sturm und Drang (1770-1830).

ABSTRACT
This thesis analyzes the thoughts of Schiller regarding the meaning of freedom through his first drama, Die Rauber. By using sociological approach based on Genetic Structuralism by Lucian Goldman, the researcher found that concept of freedom in this drama was influenced by the spirit of two German Literary Periods, Aufklarung (1700-1780) and Sturm und Drang (1770-1830).
