Abstrak :
An updated edition of the key reference work in the area of second and foreign language vocabulary studies. This book provides a detailed survey of research and theory on the teaching and learning of vocabulary with the aim of providing pedagogical suggestions for both teachers and learners. It contains descriptions of numerous vocabulary learning strategies which are justified and supported by reference to experimental research, case studies, and teaching experience. It also describes what vocabulary learners need to know to be effective language users. This title shows that by taking a systematic approach to vocabulary learning, teachers can make the best use of class time and help learners get the best return for their learning effor.

ABSTRACT
Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) menerapkan kebijakan intranet untuk komunikasi internal organisasi. Setiap anggota organisasi atau civitas Kominfo mempunyai single login access ke Portal Kominfo yang berfungsi sebagai gateway berbagai aplikasi e-Government dan ruang publik. Penelitian ini membahas implementasi keterbukaan informasi publik yang diterapkan melalui komunikasi ruang siber. Teori Konvergensi Simbolik yang dikembangkan oleh Ernest Bormann digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses konstruksi kesadaran bersama. Penelitian menggunakan metoda kualitatif dengan prespektif konstruktivis interpretif dan dilakukan selama 3 bulan dari Januari s.d Maret 2014. Untuk memperoleh validitas, data digali melalui tiga cara yakni observasi, Fokus Grup Diskusi (FGD) dan wawancara mendalam terhadap tujuh informan yang telah ditentukan.

Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan terjadi proses dramatisasi pesan yang membentuk rantai fantasi. Jenis fantasi civitas dan organisasi yang membentuk visi retorikal : transparansi informasi. Tema fantasi yang ditemukan antara lain kesadaran terhadap proses reformasi birokrasi dan upaya-upaya menjadikan Kementerian Kominfo sebagai leading di sektor komunikasi dan teknologi informasi dalam fantasi : Kominfo gitu loh!.

ABSTRACT
The Ministry of ICT (Kominfo) implemented intranet policy for internal organization communications. Every member of the organization or Civitas have a single login access to the portal that serves as a gateway for e-Government applications and public spaces . This study discusses the implementation of public disclosure is implemented through cyber space communications. The Symbolic Convergence Theory that developed by Ernest Bormann used to determine how the construction process of consciousness is formed. The study using qualitative methods with interpretive constructivist perspective. Research conducted during the 3 months of January to March 2014. To obtain data validity through three ways : observation , Focus Group Discussion ( FGD ) and in-depth interviews of seven informants who have been determined.

The results of the study show a process of dramatization messages that form fantasy chain. Fantasy Type of community and organizations that made up the rhetorical vision : information transparency. Fantasy theme found in the awareness of the process of bureaucratic reform. An efforts makes the Ministry of ICT as leading sector in communications and information technology sector whith fantasy theme: Kominfo Gitu Loh! .

Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas tentang romantisisme dalam tujuh buah puisi yang ditulis oleh Kim So-wol. Ketujuh puisi tersebut adalah Geumjandi, Huimang, Bugwi-gongmyeong, Yejeon-e Micheo Mollasseoyo, Azalea, dan Samsoo Kapsan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan kecenderungan tema romantik yang terdapat dalam karya-karya tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif-analisis. Kesimpulan akhir dari skripsi ini adalah puisi-puisi Kim So-wol memiliki karakteristik romantik yang kuat, dengan sikap berlebih-lebihan yang menjadi karakteristik utama, serta tema melankoli romantik dan sentimentalisme sebagai tema yang dominan dipakai. ......This undergraduate thesis analyzes the existence of romanticism of seven poems written by Kim So-wol. Those poems are exactly Geumjandi, Huimang, Bugwi-gongmyeong, Yejeon-e Micheo Mollasseoyo, Yet-iyagi, Jindallae-kkot, and Samsoo Kapsan. The purpose is to find romantic characterictic and preference of themes which are reflected of them. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive-analitic method. Nine of romantic characteristic and four romantic themes are obtained on this research. This analysis has come up with a conclusion that Kim So-wol poems are strong with romantic characteristics, especially hyperbole, and aim to the tendency of using romantic melancholy and sentimentalism theme as favorite.;

Instagram di era media sosial ternyata digunakan sebagai media berbagi kata-kata bijak. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh adanya akun yang secara spesial mengunggah kiriman kata-kata bijak Bahasa Jawa yang berbeda dari fungsi dasar Instagram sebagai media berbagi foto dan video. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana kata-kata bijak tersebut ditampilkan di Instagram berdasarkan struktur kalimat, tema dan keberadaan unsur sajian pelengkap serta pengaruhnya terhadap respons suka. Data penelitian ini diambil dari kiriman akun @filosofi_jawa periode enam bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi dengan model concurrent embedded. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya cara khusus mengungkapkan kata-kata bijak Bahasa Jawa di Instagram.

ABSTRACT
Instagram in the social media era has a phenomenon of Quotes sharing that indicated by an account especially posts the Javanese Quotes that is different from Instagram's basic functions as a photo and video sharing media. Therefore, this research aims to explain how the Javanese Quotes presented in Instagram based on the structure of sentences, themes and the existence of complementary elements that give effect to the numbers of Likes. The Data was taken from @filosofi_jawa posts in six months period. This research uses the combination method with the concurrent embedded model. The result of the research shows the special ways how to expresses Javanese Quotes in Instagram.

Kelima novel sejarah Indonesia yang dipilih sebagai objek penelitian ini memperlihatkan keragaman konvensi, bentuk, dan warna. Ada yang menggunakan tokoh-tokoh sejarah sebagai tokoh utama, dan tokoh fi ktif sebagai pelengkap, ada yang sebaliknya menggunakan tokoh sejarah sebagai tokoh bawahan, ada yang sebagian besar tokohnya adalah tokoh sejarah. Katrologi Bumi Manusia memperlihatkan warna realis yang kuat dan bentuk yang rumit; begitu pula Arok Dedes yang ideologis. Subang Zamrud Nurhayati memperlihatkan erotisme dan alur yang sederhana, sementara Roro Mendut menekankan masalah psikologis, dan Perlawanan Rakyat Sigi yang pendek berwarna heroik, memang tepat untuk anakanak. Dua dari keempat pengarang novel sejarah yang dibahas sudah tiada, dua yang lain berusia lanjut. Mereka semua memperoleh pendidikan yang relatif baik, khususnya dalam hal sejarah. Keempatnya sangat prihatin terhadap keadaan bangsa dan negaranya, dan sebagian besar telah secara aktif mendukung mereka yang tertindas.

The fi ve Indonesian historical novels being the object of this research, reveal the western convention of the genre in a variety of forms and colours. Pramoedya?s and Mansur Samin?s use both ?real? historical person as heroes and secondary character, while the others present imaginative characters as heros and historical persons as background. Pram?s Bumi Manusia, consisting of four books, shows the most complicated form and tends to be realistic in its narration. Arok Dedes, as complicated as the fi rst, is an ideological one. While Roro Mendut, in a very loose plot preoccupies with the psychological problem of the principal characters, and Subang Zamrud Nurhayati is erotic. The thinnest of the fi ve, Perlawanan Rakyat Sigi is heroic. About the writers: two of them are dead, the rest is above sixty years old. The interview shows that they love history and have received good education, especially in history stuff. They are preoccupied by the poor condition of the Indonesian people and the nation, and most of them supported actively the struggle of the oppressed.
