Abstrak :
[Pelayanan pendaftaran rawat inap pasien yang paling terlihat adalah pada saat menunggu proses pelayanannya yang memakan waktu lama. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya pada saat magang pada 15 orang pasien adalah didapatkan bahwa waktu penyelesaian pendaftaran pasien masuk ruang perawatan cukup lama yaitu 20-25 menit dari mulai datangnya pasien ke bagian pendaftaran rawat inap sampai pasien menempati ruangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi lamanya proses pendaftaran rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Islam Jakarta Cempaka Putih Tahun 2014. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam kepada informan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pelayanan pendaftaran rawat inap dengan SOP pegawai yang banyak dengan komponen petugas mencari berkas rekam medis pasien lama yang dianggap lama dan pada kategori pasien baru tetap menunggu ruang perawatan yang masih penuh. Serta kemampuan petugas dalam membaca diagnosa pasien yang agak sulit sehingga proses pendaftaran rawat inap menjadi lama yaitu lebih dari 15 menit. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah SOP pelayanan pendaftaran rawat inap dilaksanakan oleh semua petugas. Pasien lama berhubungan dengan lamanya proses pendaftaran rawat inap dalam hal pencarian berkas rekam medis.
