Aseptic carton material is difficult material to be recycled where the only possible
recycling process available is by conducting hydra pulping process (separation
layer). Aseptic beverage box consist of paper, plastic and alumunium layers.
However as it requires a significant financial cost, it is rarely used for recycling.
This final project discusses the investigation of roof tile which was made from the
recycling of aseptic boxes. For the roof material Shredded aseptic boxes of size 50
mm x 5 mm and 25 mm x 5 mm were mixed with a percentage ratio of weight
50% : 50%. Another mix using 100% of size 50 mm x 5 mm was used as a
comparison material. Shredded aseptic boxes were compressed with a pressure of
30 kg/cm2 and heating temperature 170 oC in order to make solid roof tile. This
research has reviewed the tile absorption to water, the resistance to water ingress
and its flexural strength. The result of this investigation showed roof tile made
from recycled shredded beverage cartoon using two combined size 50 mm x 5
mm : 25 mm x 5 mm (50% : 50%) and roof tile using 100% of size 50 mm x 5
mm do not fulfill the requirements of concrete tile regulation SNI-0096-2007 and
ceramic tile regulation SNI-2095-1998. However resistance to water can be
improved by coating the tile with waterproofing materials. Therefore, its ability to
with stand water and bending loads are better then, thus the improved tile can be
catagories as quality tile grade two SNI-2095-1998 tile ceramic regulation.

"In this handbook, the editors systematically present the maximum possible number of known eco-materials, including ”cyclic” materials; materials for ecology and environmental protection; materials for society and human health; and materials for energy based on two main criteria: their sources and their functions. Eco-materials (also called “environmentally friendly materials” or “environmentally preferable” materials) are materials that enhance, or refrain from damaging, the environment throughout their life cycles.
The chapters are written by global leaders in their fields. The book will cater to the strong and ever-increasing demand for energy, benign materials, and cost efficiency. Eco-materials is arguably one of the most important fields of modern science & technology. "

"Pesatnya perkembangan industri membuat jumlah limbah plastik meningkat.

The rapid development of the industry makes the amount of plastic waste increase. The difficulty of plastic waste to be degraded makes its handling important to avoid environmental pollution. This research converts plastic waste into carbon products with economic value in an effort to increase the application of recycling methods while encouraging the use of renewable energy by making the carbon as an anode material for batteries to form LTO/C composites. Li4Ti5O12 has advantages as a lithium ion battery such as a good level of safety and thermal stability but poor conductivity. The recycled carbon is activated using NaOH to obtain a porous structure that can increase the conductivity of the composite. This study aimed to study the effect of adding recycled activated carbon to the overall battery performance. This study synthesized LTO/C using the ball mill method with variations in time of 90 minutes, 120 minutes, and 150 minutes in order to determine the optimum composite synthesis time for the battery. The EIS test showed that the addition of recycled activated carbon was able to increase the LTO conductivity. Based on the results of EIS, CV and CD the optimal ball mill time is 90 minutes to produce a battery with the best performance and has the lowest resistance and a specific capacity of 149.8 Ω."
