"A numerical ocean modeling study using spectral element method is used to simulate the Indian Ocean Kelvin wave
propagation along the Makassar Strait and the Sulawesi Sea by giving a-prescribed-50-day Kelvin wave forcing in the
northern mouth of the Lombok Strait. The least square fit analysis is employed to extract a-50-day-resonant signal from
the interface height data simulation. The results indicate that the 50-day Kelvin wave propagates northward along the
Makassar Strait. One part of this wave turns back at the Labani channel and makes southward propagation along the
eastern coast of the Makassar Strait. The rest part is going further to enter the Sulawesi Sea and makes 50-day resonance
within the basin. This finding will have important implication on the intra-seasonal time scale variability of the
Indonesian throughflow transport entering the Indonesian Seas and needs further investigation as well as comparison
with observational data."

The behavioural study of Indo Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins Tursiops aduncus at the Ocean Dream Samudra Ancol North Jakarta had been done Tursiops aduncus known as animals that have high adaptability to the environmental conditions This adaptability allows Tursiops aduncus to survive on an artificial habitat The purpose of this research were to calculate the proportion of time budget in a daily activity and analyze forms of behavioural adaptation of Tursiops aduncus in the Underwater Theater ODS and also refers to their natural behaviour Method used in this study is focal animal sampling with interval of time 10 minutes continuously Objects on this study are four male Tursiops aduncus named Kuning Ungu Biru and Specta in the Underwater Theater pool ODS The result on this study is showed that the highest presentation of travelling and feeding behaviour are showed by Kuning 65 71 and 0 2 highest presentation of resting and playing behaviour are showed by Specta 25 68 and 2 67 also highest presentation of social interaction dan sexual aggression behaviour is showed by Ungu 15 35 and 4 94 Although the conditions in the artificial habitat different with the naturally habitat Tursiops aduncus is able to adapt through changes in behavior that observed at each behavior happened and still preserving it rsquo s natural behaviour."

ABSTRACT
Ocean condition mapping which started with the discovery of an ocean acoustic tomography by Munsk et al 1 has seen growth due to the rapid development of digital processing eld. This study is based on a modern tomography system that uses a digital system such as microprocessors to process data using correlation of data acquired by a sound receiver instrument that is known as a hydrophone. This study focuses on the design and implementation of an analog front end circuit that consists of a pre ampli er and lter of a capacitive hydrophone AQ 1 with speci ed frequency response of 1 10kHz to replace existing system based on AQ 201 and a Hydrophone Amp designed by Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi. This study highlights the usage of a hybrid JFET Op amp Ampli er topology to design a pre ampli er with gain at least 26 dB with lower noise than 100nV Hz0.5. A voltage series negative feedback is implemented in this pre ampli er circuit to improve the noise performance of the pre ampli er design signi cantly. Afterwards, a lter is designed with Bessel characteristics with frequency range of 0.1Hz to 10kHz with Sallen Key topology. An analog front end has been designed and built with an operating frequency within the range of 1 10kHz with lower noise than that of referenced ampli er with a value of 8.25 nV Hz0.5."

"ABSTRAK
The water-wave interaction with submerged breakwaters is examined to determine the reflection and transmission coefficients. Three types of breakwaters are considered, namely, a submerged breakwater extending from the sea bed until below the waterline, a breakwater extending from above the seawater to some distance below, and a breakwater extending all the way from the seabed with slit at some distance from the bed. In all three cases the breakwaters are assumed to be rigid, thin, and impermeable, and subjected to linear monochromatic waves, and the fluid motion is idealized as linearized, two-dimensional potential flow. A computationally efficient method - an eigenfunction technique with a mixed boundary condition - is used to determine the velocity potential anywhere in the region of flow. The least-square method has been utilized in the solution for the mixed boundary condition. The accuracy of the solution is demonstrated by comparing the numerical values for the transmission coefficient with those obtained from experiments or other analytical solutions but with water depth restrictions. Numerical results in terms of both reflection and transmission coefficients are presented for each case."
