[ABSTRAK
Salah satu bentuk kepatuhan bank umum terhadap regulasi dari Bank Indonesia adalah dengan menyerahkan laporan informasi debiturnya atau laporan SID di setiap bulannya. Laporan ini harus dibuat sesuai dengan pedoman yang ada serta diserahkan tepat waktu atau bank akan mendapat teguran. Berdasarkan data laporan sanksi SID, Bank X diharuskan membayar denda ke Bank Indonesia dikarenakan laporan SID diserahkan tidak tepat waktu dan belum akurat. Untuk mengatasi hal ini maka Bank X hendak memperbaiki sistem pendukung yang menghasilkan laporan tersebut. Berdasarkan alasan tersebut maka pengerjaan karya akhir ini berupaya untuk menggali kebutuhan sistem dengan menggunakan metodologi Rational Unified Process. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini berupa artefak dari workflow requirement yang bisa digunakan untuk perbaikan sistem guna mengatasi permasalahan di laporan SID.

In each month, banks should submit a report of its debtor information to Bank Indonesia (SID Report). This report should be made in accordance with existing guidelines and submitted on time or the bank will be reprimanded. Based on the report data sanctions, Bank X is required to pay fines to Bank Indonesia due SID report is not submitted on time and not accurate. To overcome this, the Bank X was about to fix the support system that produced the report. Based on these reasons, the workmanship of this thesis seeks to explore the needs of the system by using the Rational Unified Process methodology. Era globalisasi menuntut semua organisasi, baik yang berorientasi pada laba ataupun nirlaba, untuk beroperasi secara efesien dan efektif. TUtujuannya untuk meningkatkan kualitas organisasi agar dapat bertahan dalam persaingan yang semakin ketat. Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi (TI) merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat memberikan kemudahan untuk membuat, memproses, menyimpan dan menyebarkan informasi. TI juga memungkinkan terjadinya proses komunikasi yang sebelumnya sulit bahkan tidak mungkin dilakukan. PT. "XYZ" Group merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang agrobisnis dan telah berdiri sejak tahun 1993. Seiring perkembangan perusahaan yang semakin pesat, penambahan jumlah karyawan, dan kondisi geografis cabang-cabang perusahaan yang tersebar, hal ini membawa kedala dalam proses workflow perusahaan, hal ini juga dikarenakan proses workflow selama ini masih dijalankan secara manual, walaupun fasilitas komputer telah di sediakan, namun dukungan dari aplikasi yang minim membuat proses berlangsung lama dan berlarut-larut. Menjawab hal tersebut perusahaan membentuk satu divisi Informasi Teknologi (IT) untuk menangani masalah pengembangan aplikasi maupun infrastruktur. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi workflow, divisi IT memilih teknologi e-business dan open source, penerapan teknologi e-business dan open source dipilih karena merupakan kebijakan perusahaan, dipandang dari sisi biaya, ketersediaan sumber daya manusia, dan kehandalan teknologi tersebut.
Globalization era demands all organizations, whether they are profit or non-profit oriented to operate efficiently and effectively. The purpose is to increase the quality of the organization, so that it can survive in the competitive environment. The implementation of information technology is one of the best solutions to create, process, store, and distribute information. Information technology also makes possible communications to take place, including those that were previously impossible. PT "XYZ" group of companies, established since 1993, operates in agribusiness sectors. As the company grows rapidly, employees' total number also increases, distributed across company branches which are geographical spread in many areas. This situation brings problems to the company human resource workflow process. The problems are mainly due to the manual workflow process. Although they have had computer facilities and networking infrastructure support, the support from the application is not enough to speed up the processes. To respond to this situation the company establishes the Information Technology (IT) division to build an application and its infrastructure to automate the HR workflow processes. In developing the workflow application, the IT division uses an e-business approach and open source technology. This technology was chosen according to a company policy that was made based on financial considerations, human resources availability, and technology capability.

Desain dan kualitas dokumentasi yang buruk telah diidentifikasi sebagai faktor utama dalam mengurangi kinerja dan efisiensi proyek konstruksi. Dengan mengadaptasi prinsip-prinsip produksi Lean dan melihat konstruksi dalam hal "produksi", alih-alih sebagai "transformasi", konsep "Konstruksi Lean" berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi proses konstruksi secara keseluruhan, dengan meningkatkan cara bagaimana operasi proyek konstruksi dikelola. Manajemen Desain Lean, merupakan metodologi yang sedang dipromosikan sebagai paradigma baru dimana proses desain dapat dibuat lebih efisien dan hasil kualitas yang lebih baik dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses desain teknik pada sebuah sistem yang kompleks seperti halnya sebuah proyek desain fasilitas eksploitasi minyak dan bumi yang berada di lepas pantai. Tesis ini mengusulkan model workflow berdasarkan prinsip Lean dengan menghilangkan buangan (waste) dan memaksimalkan efisensi dalam proses desain teknik bagi pelanggan atau pemilik fasilitas. ......Poor quality of design and documentation has been identified as a major factor in reducing the performance and efficiency of construction projects. By adapting the principles of production of Lean and apply the construction in terms of "production", rather than as "transformation", the concept of "construction Lean" managed to increase the overall efficiency of the construction process, by improving the way operations are managed on construction projects. Design Management Lean, a methodology that is being promoted as a new paradigm in which the design process can be made more efficient and better quality outcomes achieved. This study aims to improve the engineering design process in a complex system such as an oil exploitation project of offshore facility design. This thesis proposes a model workflows based on the principles of Lean by eliminating the waste and to maximize efficiency in process engineering design for the customer or the owner of the facility.

[Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penerapan perbaikan proses bisnis pada salah satu divisi riset di Bank XYZ untuk aktivitas penyebarluasan laporan hasil analisis tim atau Economic Report Dissemination. Penulis menerapkan model rekayasa ulang proses bisnis (Business Process Re-Engineering/BPR) dari Muthu, Whitman et al (1999) yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yakni persiapan, pemetaan proses saat ini, perancangan proses baru, implementasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Dalam memetakan proses bisnis, penulis menggunakan alat bantu flowchart dan kerangka perbaikan proses Baltzan (2014) dalam mengidentifikasi masalah dalam proses saat ini.;This research discuss about the implementation of Business Process Improvement (BPI) in XYZ Bank?s research division. The object of this research is their main activity called Economic Report Dissemination (ERD) which is the process to distribute economic report throughout the firm in accordance to its needs. This research followed Muthu, Whitman et al (1999) Business Process Reengineering consolidated model that consist of five steps include preparation, current process mapping, develop new process, implementation and continuous improvement. The current and to-be process was drawn using flowchart. Qin and Fahringer present a novel workflow language called Abstract Workflow Description Language (AWDL) and the corresponding standards-based, knowledge-enabled tool support, which simplifies the development of scientific workflow applications. AWDL is an XML-based language for describing scientific workflow applications at a high level of abstraction. It is designed in a way that allows users to concentrate on specifying such workflow applications without dealing with either the complexity of distributed computing environments or any specific implementation technology.
