"ProWD adalah suatu aplikasi yang memberi informasi dengan memvisualisasikan ketimpangan pengetahuan pada Wikidata, salah satu basis pengetahuan yang paling populer di web. Dalam pelaksanaannya, terdapat beberapa aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan sehingga ProWD dapat menyampaikan wawasan tentang ketimpangan pengetahuan dengan efektif. Skripsi ini mengeksplorasi aspek UI/UX pada ProWD dengan pendekatan User-Centered Design dan teori visualisasi data. Perumusan solusi desain alternatif pada ProWD dilakukan dengan melakukan sesi wawancara dan usability testing pada target pengguna, serta memanfaatkan alat-alat desain untuk menghasilkan redesain antarmuka ProWD. Hasil redesain tersebut selanjutnya diimplementasikan menjadi sebuah aplikasi web yang dapat diakses pada http://prowd.id/. Evaluasi dari hasil redesain ProWD menunjukkan kenaikan signifikan pada nilai System Usability Scale sebesar 27 poin secara keseluruhan, dengan hasil User Experience Questionnaire yang juga menunjukkan kenaikan pada tiap skala yang diukur dengan perubahan terbesar pada skala perspicuity sebesar 1.81 poin dan attractiveness sebesar 1.7 poin. Lebih lanjut lagi, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25.9% pada success rate aplikasi secara keseluruhan dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 3.56% pada average task completion time. Umpan balik kualitatif dari sesi usability testing juga dipaparkan pada skripsi ini untuk memberi wawasan yang lebih kaya terhadap redesain yang dilakukan.

ProWD is an application which provides information through visualizing the knowledge imbalance on Wikidata, one of the most popular knowledge bases on the web. In the process of creating a product, there are several aspects which needs to be kept in mind to be able to deliver the insights on knowledge imbalance effectively. This thesis explores the UI/UX aspect of ProWD using the User Centered Design approach and data visualization theories. Alternative design solutions for ProWD are formulated through conducting interviews and usability testing sessions with the target users, while utilizing the design tools to produce a redesign for ProWD’s interface. The redesign is then implemented into a web application which can be accessed on http://prowd.id/. The evaluation of ProWD’s redesign shows a significant increase of 27 points on the application’s System Usability Scale, with the results of the User Experience Questionnaire showing an increase on each scale with the largest increase of 1.81 points on perspicuity and 1.7 points on attractiveness. Furthermore, an overall increase of 25.9% can be seen on the Success Rate with an average increase of 3.56% on the average task completion time. The qualitative feedback from the usability testing sessions are also elaborated within this thesis to provide a richer insight on the implemented redesign."

"PT Halal Network International (HNI) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menyediakan produk-produk herbal halal dan berkiprah sudah lebih dari 10 tahun. Proses bisnis perusahaan ini adalah distribusi produknya melalui metode Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengelolaan penjualan agen stok, HNI mengembangkan aplikasi HNI Integrated System (HSIS) yang dapat diakses di platform website maupun mobile. Analisis permasalahan diperoleh dari tiga sumber: wawancara dengan Direktur TI HNI, wawancara dengan agen stok HNI, dan analisis ulasan Google Play Store. Jumlah unduhan aplikasi di Google Play Store dan angka transaksi di HSIS mobile menunjukkan penurunan beberapa tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis ulasan sentimen negatif di Play Store juga menunjukkan sebanyak 44,6% termasuk dalam kategori UI/UX. Selain itu, agen stok HNI yang diwawancarai mengaku jarang menggunakan HSIS mobile dibandingkan website karena fiturnya yang lebih rumit dan panjang. Keterkaitan erat antara UI/UX dengan usability menunjukkan pentingnya dilakukan evaluasi usability aplikasi HSIS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan evaluasi usability dan merancang rekomendasi alternatif desain antarmuka aplikasi HSIS Mobile HNI menggunakan proses User-centered Design (UCD). Penelitian ini menerapkan Kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS), Open-ended Question (OEQ), dan Usability Testing (UT) sebagai instrumen penelitian. Terdapat 81 responden yang terlibat dalam mengisi kuesioner SUS dan OEQ. Selanjutnya dilakukan UT Fase 1 yang melibatkan 14 responden. Sebagian responden diambil dari responden kuesioner survei, sedangkan 7 lainnya merupakan pengguna baru HSIS. Setelah UT, dilakukan wawancara dengan mengajukan OEQ. Hasil dari ketiga proses ini diolah dan dikelompokkan, lalu solusi desainnya dipetakan berdasarkan prinsip desain Nielsen’s Ten Usability Heuristic of Interface Design dan Shneiderman’s Eight Golden Rules of Interface Design. Terdapat empat belas solusi desain yang direkomendasikan untuk perbaikan beberapa halaman seperti Homepage, Daftar Agen Stok, Edit Transaksi, Logout, dan halaman lainnya. Empat belas solusi desain alternatif ini kembali diujikan di UT Fase 2 pada 14 responden yang sama dengan UT Fase 1. Hasil UT Fase 2 menunjukkan penurunan jumlah isu usability yang signifikan dibandingkan UT Fase 1. Hal ini membuktikan perbaikan desain antarmuka aplikasi HSIS mampu memberikan peningkatan yang positif pada usability dan pengalaman pengguna aplikasi HSIS mobile.

The company's business model involves distributing its products through a Multi-Level Marketing method. To meet the needs of managing stockist sales, HNI developed the HNI Integrated System (HSIS) application, which can be accessed on both website and mobile platforms. Problem analysis was derived from three sources: interviews with the IT Director of HNI, interviews with HNI stockists, and analysis of Play Store reviews. The number of application downloads on the Play Store and the transaction rate on HSIS mobile have shown a decline in recent years. Sentiment analysis of negative reviews on the Play Store also indicated that 44.6% fell into the UI/UX category. Additionally, interviewed HNI stockists admitted to rarely using HSIS mobile compared to the website due to its more complicated and lengthy features. The close relation between UI/UX and usability indicates the importance of conducting a usability evaluation of the HSIS application. The purpose of this research is to conduct a usability evaluation and design alternative interface design recommendations for the HSIS Mobile HNI application using the User-centered Design (UCD) process. This research applies the System Usability Scale (SUS) Questionnaire, Open-ended Question (OEQ), and Usability Testing (UT) as research instruments. There were 81 respondents involved in filling out the SUS and OEQ questionnaires. Furthermore, UT Phase 1 was conducted involving 14 respondents. Some respondents were drawn from the survey questionnaire respondents, while the other 7 were new HSIS users. After the UT, an interview was conducted by submitting an OEQ. The results of these three processes were processed and categorized, then the design solutions were mapped based on Nielsen's Ten Usability Heuristic of Interface Design and Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules of Interface Design. There are fourteen design solutions recommended to improve several pages such as Homepage, Agent Stock List, Edit Transaction, Logout, and other pages. These fourteen alternative design solutions were tested again in UT Phase 2 to the same 14 respondents as UT Phase 1. The results of UT Phase 2 showed a significant decrease in the number of usability issues compared to UT Phase 1. This proves that improvements to the HSIS application interface design can provide a positive improvement in the usability and user experience of the HSIS mobile application."

"Saat ini, pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan sistem rujukan berjenjang pada setiap pelayanan kesehatan. Adanya pengembangan transformasi digital dan pemerintah Indonesia yang terus melakukan digitalisasi, sistem rujukan yang terintegrasi diciptakan untuk mewujudkan sistem rujukan yang tertata dan efisien. Adanya website Sisrute sebagai sistem rujukan terintegrasi saat ini memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan rujukan. Namun masih terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Sisrute. Salah satu masalah terbesar adalah belum adanya evaluasi user experience website tersebut. User experience merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan sebuah website. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai evaluasi user experience dan perancangan antarmuka website tersebut. Terdapat enam dimensi UX yang diteliti, yaitu efficiency, effectiveness, usability, ease of use, satisfaction, dan error. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode User Centered Design agar solusi yang diberikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Metode pengambilan data yaitu Usability Testing dengan: performance metrics, Retrospective Think Aloud, in-depth interview, kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS), Single Ease Question (SEQ), dan Computer System Usability Question (CSUQ). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penilaian user experience, rancangan desain rekomendasi website Sisrute yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Currently, the Indonesian government implements a tiered referral system for every health service. With the development of digital transformation and the Indonesian government continuing to digitize, an integrated referral system was created to improve the referral system. The existence of the Sisrute website as an integrated referral system currently provides convenience in making referrals. However, there are still problems faced by Sisrute. One of the biggest problems is that there is no user experience evaluation of the website. User experience is one of the main factors that affect the success of a website. This study will discuss the evaluation of user experience and the design of the website interface. There are six UX dimensions studied, namely efficiency, effectiveness, usability, ease of use, satisfaction, and error. This research was conducted using the User centered design method so that the solutions provided were in accordance with the user's needs. Data collection using Usability Testing with performance metrics, Retrospective Think Aloud, in-depth interviews, System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, Single ease question (SEQ), and Computer System Usability Question (CSUQ). The results of this study are user experience assessments, design recommendations for the Sisrute website that are in accordance with user needs."
