Transportation problems that often occur in big cities include traffic jams, noise and air pollution, accidents and delays. Previous research has shown that in Depok City there is a high level of congestion at the center of trading activity, where 6 out of 7 are shopping centers. In the city of Depok, until now there are 10 malls. Congestion on the highway in Depok City The location of the Mall shows that the Mall's existence is increasing in the generation of trips. This study aims to determine the spatial pattern of travel time to the Mall and outer space side obstructions in its travel path. The data used include travel time, the center of the crowd, road junctions, travel times, and modes of transportation from 148 visitor respondents. Collection Data collection was carried out by conducting interviews with mall visitors in the afternoon. The space resistance on the travel path can be categorized as the deviation and crowd center, which is classified into several classes. The results showed that the travel time had nothing to do with the length of the trip. Long trips do not always require a long travel time. And vice versa. However, most respondents are willing to take a long time to reach the mall with high facilities. The conclusion of this study shows that the respondents chose the route of travel with the least space constraints. This occurs both on long and near journeys, and also during long and fast travel times."

Norcliffe, Glen
""Examining cycling from a range of geographical perspectives, this book uses historical and contemporary case studies to look at the history, politics, economy and culture of cycling. Pursuing a post-structural position in viewing understandings of the bicycle as contingent upon time and place, author Glen Norcliffe argues for the need for widespread processes such as gendered use of the bicycle, the Cyclists's Rights Movement, and the globalization of bicycle-making to be interpreted in different ways in different places. With this in mind, the essays in the book are divided into two sections: Spaces of Cycling which treats the location of the technological development, production and trade of cycles and Places of Cycling which interprets the specific places of consumption - the streets of the city, in the cycling clubs, among men and women, and at the trade show. Written from a geographer's integrative perspective to offer a broad understanding of cycling, this book will also be of interest to other social scientists in urban studies, cultural studies, technology and society, sociology, history and environmental planning"--Provided by publisher."
