Abstrak :
Ancient tomb and gravestones as archaeological remains often hide the important facts and informations are lated to many things. This paper aimed to solve the mystery of an ancient tomb of a Chinese figure known as Tan Sam Cai Kong in Sukalila, Cirebon. Through archaeological and historical analysis it is known that Tan Sam Cai Kong was a historical figure lived in 17M. His epithet as Tumenggung Aria Wira Cula written in the wall shows that he was an important figure and closed to the kraton.
