Angka kematian penduduk Indonesia yang disebabkan oleh merokok semakin meningkat tiap tahunnya. Merokok tembakau berbahaya bagi kesehatan karena dapat menyebabkan penyakit kardiovaskular, pernapasan, dan lain-lain. Nikotin dalam rokok dapat merangsang reseptor kimia di dalam pembuluh darah dan meningkatkan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini menggunakan 16 orang perokok dan 16 orang bukan perokok di Salemba sebagai sampel untuk diambil tekanan darahnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata tekanan darah pada perokok adalah 100,09 (IK95% 95,6;104,58) mmHg dan pada bukan perokok adalah 105,31 (IK95% 100,17;110,45) mmHg. Dari hasil tersebut, didapatkan data tidak berbeda bermakna (p=0,144), artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan tekanan darah pada perokok dan bukan perokok di Salemba. ......The mortality rate of Indonesian caused by smoking increases every year. Tobacco smoking is dangerous for health because it can lead to cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, etc. Nicotine can stimulate chemical receptor in blood vessels and increases blood pressure. This research uses 16 smokers and 16 non-smokers in Salemba as a sample to take blood pressure. The result shows the means of blood pressure in smokers is 100,09 (CI95% 95,6;104,58) mmHg and in non-smokers is 105,31 (CI95% 100,17;110,45) mmHg. From this result, we can assume that the data is not signifcantly different (p=0.144). It means that there is no difference of blood pressure between smokers and non-smokers in Salemba.

Jumlah perokok khususnya remaja semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Penelitia ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang dampa buruk rokok dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja laki-laki di SMP Taruna Bhakti Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain deskripti korelatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 79 remaja laki-laki yang merokok di SM Taruna Bhakti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunaka Uji Chi-Square. Didapatkan hasil bahwa 57% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahua yang kurang dan 51,9% responden memiliki perilaku merokok tinggi. Penelitian in menunjukan tidak adanya hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang dampak buru rokok dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja laki-laki di SMP Taruna Bhakti (P value 1,000; α = 0,05). Disarankan agar perawat dan institusi pendidikan bekerja sama untu meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang dampak buruk rokok kepada remaja maupun masyarakat pada umumnya. ......The number of teenager smoker are increasing from year to year. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about the negative effects smoking and smoking behavior in adolescent smoker boys in SMP Taruna Bhakti. This research was quantitative research using descriptive correlative design. Data sample was collected using purposive sampling technique from 79 adolescent smoker boys in SMP Taruna Bhakti. Data analyzed with Chi-Square Test. The results showed that 57% of the respondents have less knowledge level and 51,9% of the respondents has a high smoking behavior. This study showed no relationship between the level of knowledge about the negative effects of smoking and smoking behavior in adolescent boys in SMP Taruna Bhakti (P value = 1.000; α = 0.05, P < α). It is recommended that nurses and educational institutions work together to increase knowledge about the negative effects of smoking on adolescents and the community at large.

ABSTRACT
The tobacco extract has larvicidal activity because it contains nicotine and some toxic compounds. The need to form tobacco extracts in nanoemulsion was due to its smaller particle size, larger surface area, and slow release of active compounds. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of tobacco extract nanoemulsion against Aedes aegypti larvae. Nanoemulsion tobacco extract is made by high energy method using ultrasonication with frequency 20 kHz for 45 minutes. The tobacco extract was mixed with Tween 20 surfactant with the ratios are 1:0.5, 1:1, and 1:3 (w/w). From the result, bioassay test of larvicidal nanoemulsion with LC50 was 823.74 ppm (F1:0.5), 702.07ppm (F1:1), and 578.48 ppm (F1:3), lower than LC50 of tobacco leaf extract without nanoemulsion 1022.97 ppm. The decrease in LC50 values was directly proportional to the decrease in particle size. The lowest LC50 values are obtained by the formula F1:3 with an average particle size of 631 nm. This study shows that even if the nanoemulsion was not achieved, the emulsion of tobacco extract is potential to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae effectively, due to lower than 750 ppm LC50 for (F1:1 and F1:3, 24 hr).
