"Cikoromoy merupakan obyek wisata alam dengan komoditas wisata utamanya adalah perairan darat atau biasa disebut obyek wisata tirta. Kabupaten Pandeglang sebagai daerah tujuan wisata utama di wilayah Propinsi Banten berusaha mengoptimalkan potensi-potensi wisata yang dimiliki antara lain adalah obyek wisata Cikoromoy.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi nilai ekonomi sumber daya wisata Cikoromoy dari sisi demand pengunjung. Dengan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penilaian ekonomi sumber daya wisata Cikoromoy, maka dapat ditentukan hal-hal harus diperbaiki atau perlu diadakan agar mampu meningkatkan kepuasan / utility pengunjung sehingga frekuensi kunjungan wisata ke Cikoromoy meningkat.Pada penelitian ini jumlah responden yang diobservasi adalah 197 orang wisatawan. Dengan menggunakan metode Travel Cost Method dapat diketahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi frekuensi kunjungan wisata Cikoromoy adalah biaya perjalanan, waktu perjalanan, pendapatan, zona asal pengunjung, persepsi mengenai Cikoromoy sebagai bagian dari Gunung Karang berfungsi mengurangi polusi dan persepsi fungsi ekologi bahwa ekosistem Gunung Karang termasuk didalamnya Cikoromoy membantu mengurangi efek global warming.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai WTP wisatawan Cikoromoy adalah Rp 4.651, sedangkan harga tiket masuk Cikoromoy saat ini adalah Rp 2.000, terdapat selisih sebesar Rp 2.651,- per harga tiket per orang. Dengan memberikan peningkatan mutu layanan dan jenis fasilitas dalam kawasan wisata Cikoromoy maka akan meningkatkan kepuasan / utility pengunjung sehingga pada akhirnya nilai willingness to pay juga akan meningkat. Nilai WTP inilah yang dapat dijadikan alternatif dasar penentuan tarif tiket masuk yang baru.

Cikoromoy is one of eco-tourism destinations whose main commodity is land water or known as water tourism. Pandeglang District, the major tourism destination in Banten Province, had optimized its tourism competency such as Cikoromoy water tourism.

This research tried to estimate economic value of Cikoromoy water tourism based on visitor's demand. There is a need to identify factors that influence economic value of Cikoromoy water tourism in order to improve visitor's satisfaction and to increase visiting frequency to this resort.

This research had 197 respondents as the same as visitors to Cikoromoy water tourism. Travel Cost Method has been used to identify factors that influence visiting frequency to this resort such as travel cost, travel schedule, income, visitor's place of origin, visitor's perception on Cikoromoy, and visitor's knowledge on other tourism destinations as a substitute to Cikoromoy.

The result of WTP value of Cikoromoy visitor's was Rp 4,651 while the present entrance ticket was Rp 2,000 there was a gap of Rp 2,651 in each person. By improving the quality of hospitality and varied facilities in Cikoromoy, it will improve the visitor's satisfaction and increase the willingness to pay among visitors. The WTP value can be used as an alternative to consider the basis of new entrance ticket."

The TransJakarta bus system is a BRT system that first operated on January 15th 2004 and has since developed into a mass transportation system that consists of ten coridors spread all over Jakarta.
