"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah perceived social support merupakan prediktor ideasi bunuh diri pada siswa SMA di Gunung Kidul. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara perceived social support dan ideasi bunuh diri, namun belum ada studi yang secara khusus meneliti kedua variabel ini pada konteks Gunung Kidul. Perceived social support diukur menggunakan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support MSPSS oleh Zimet yang sudah divalidasi oleh Trifilia. Ideasi bunuh diri diukur dengan menggunakan The Scale of Suicidal Ideation oleh Beck dkk. yang sudah divalidasi oleh Denisa. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 260 siswa SMA di kecamatan Wonosari dan Semanu, Gunung Kidul. Kedua kecamatan ini dipilih karena merupakan dua kecamatan dengan angka bunuh diri tertinggi di Gunung Kidul. Analisis regresi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa perceived social support menurunkan ideasi bunuh diri pada siswa SMA di Gunung Kidul.

This research is conducted to determine perceived social support as a predictor of suicide ideation on high school students in Gunung Kidul. A few previous research shows links between perceived social support and suicide ideation, but there is no research about that two variables in the context of Gunung Kidul. Perceived social support is measured with Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support MSPSS by Zimet and already been validated by Trifilia. Suicide ideation is measured with The Scale of Suicidal Ideation by Beck et al. and already been validated by Denisa. Respondents in this research are 260 high school students in Wonosari and Semanu, Gunung Kidul. These two districts is chosen because this is these districts have the highest suicide rate Gunung Kidul. Regression analysis shows that perceived social support contribute to decrease of suicide."

"ABSTRACTPenelitian ini membahas mengenai keberfungsian keluarga sebagai prediktor terhadap ide bunuh diri pada remaja akhir. Keberfungsian keluarga menjadi faktor protektif maupun faktor risiko dari ide bunuh diri pada remaja akhir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 496 individu, dengan rentang umur 18-22 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation Inventory PANSI untuk mengukur ide bunuh diri, dan Family Assesment Device FAD untuk mengukur persepsi individu mengenai keberfungsian keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberfungsian keluarga secara signifikan dapat memprediksi ide bunuh diri pada remaja akhir R=-0.487.

Family functioning could become a protective and risk factor, for adolescents rsquo suicide ideation. This is a quantitative research that includes 496 participants, aged 18 22. The data were collected using Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation Inventory PANSI to measures suicide ideation, and Family Assesment Device FAD to measures individual perception of their family functioning.
