"Negarawan merupakan karakter yang sangat penting bagi kepemimpinan nasional Indonesia. Kepemimpinan negarawan diharapkan dapat dikembangkan pada pemimpin pemuda Indonesia yang seharusnya mengemban peran kepemimpinan nasional. Upaya mengembangkan kepemimpinan negarawan pada pemimpin pemuda ini menjadi tanggung jawab berbagai pihak. Penelitian ditujukan untuk menjawab dua permasalahan. Pertama, apakah karakter negarawan disampaikan oleh berbagai stakeholders kepada para pemimpin pemuda? Dan kedua, bagaimana komparasi pengembangan kepemimpinan negarawan pada pemimpin pemuda yang dilakukan oleh berbagai stakeholders? Penelitian ini menggunakan dua teori sebagai pisau analisis. Pertama, teori negarawan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan negarawan pada pemimpin pemuda. Dan kedua, teori life-long learning leader (4-L) untuk menganalisis pengembangan kepemimpinan negarawan pada pemimpin pemuda oleh berbagai stakeholders. Peneliti menyimpulkan dua hal pada penelitian ini. Pertama, stakeholders telah menyampaikan karakter negarawan kepada para pemimpin pemuda yang dibinanya. Kedua, terdapat perbedaan pengembangan kepemimpinan negarawan pada pemimpin pemuda yang diselenggarakan oleh stakeholders.

Statesmanship is a very important character for Indonesian national leadership. Statesmanship leadership is expected to be developed on Indonesian youth leaders who are supposed to play role in the national leadership. Some parties are responsible in making efforts to develop such leadership on the youth leaders. This research is aimed at answering two following problems. firstly, has the statesmanship character been presented in youth leaders by the stakeholders? And secondly, how was the comparison statesmanship leadership development in youth leader carried out by the stakeholders? The research used two theories as means of analysis. The first, statesmanship theory to analyze statesman leadership on youth leaders. And the second, life-long learning leader (4-L) theory to analyze statesmanship leadership development on youth leaders. The researcher made two conclusions from the research. The first is that the stakeholders have presented the statesmanship character in youth leaders. And the second, there are some differences the statemanship leadership development in youth leader which caried out by the stakeholders."
