Abstrak :
Lirik lagu merupakan pesan yang ingin disampaikan penulis lagu kepada pendengarnya. Agar pesan yang ingin disampaikan dapat lebih terasa di hati, maka penulis dapat menggunakan beragam gaya bahasa, tak terkecuali lagu anak-anak yang seringkali menceritakan tentang kasih sayang, seperti kasih sayang kepada ibu, sahabat, dan hewan peliharaan. Heintje merupakan salah satu penyanyi lagu anak-anak asal Belanda yang sukses di era 1960 hingga 1970-an. Beberapa lagunya menceritakan tentang kasih sayang seorang anak kepada orang maupun lingkungan terdekatnya. Lirik-lirik lagunya ringan, namun mampu mengekspresikan rasa kasih sayang seorang anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan memaparkan jenis-jenis gaya bahasa yang menceminkan dan mengungkapkan kasih sayang pada tiga lagu Heintje yang berjudul Mama, Mijn Vriendinnetje, dan M’n Trouwe Hond. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari tiga lagu yang diteliti terdapat sembilan jenis gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam lagu anak-anak untuk mengungkapkan kasih sayang dengan menarik dan ringan, yaitu metafora, asonansi, anafora, klimaks, hiperbola, pleonasme, metonimia, elipsis, dan antistrof. Dari majas-majas yang telah disebutkan, majas yang paling sering muncul pada ketiga lagu tersebut adalah majas metafora. Penggunaan majas berfungsi untuk menambahkan efek-efek tertentu dalam sebuah ungkapan agar lebih menarik dan memperkaya dimensi tambahan bahasa. ......Lyrics are the message that songwriters want to convey to the listeners. In order for the message to be more heartfelt, songwriters can use various figure of speeches. Children songs are no exception to this, which often expresses feelings like affection for their mother, friends, and pets. Heintje was a successful children song singer from Netherlands in the 1960s and 1970s. Some of his songs tells us about children's affection for people and their surroundings. The lyrics are easy to understand but they can express a child’s affection wonderfully. This study aims to find and describe the types of figure of speech that reflects and express affection in Heintje’s three songs titled Mama, Mijn Vriendinnetje, and M’n Trouwe Hond. This study use descriptive qualitative method. The results of the analysis show that from the three songs studied, there are nine types of figure of speech, namely metaphor, assonance, anaphora, climax, hyperbole, pleonasm, metonymy, ellipsis, and antistrof. From the figure of speeches that are mentioned, the figure of speech that appears the most in the three songs is metaphor. The use of figure of speech serves to add certain effects in an expression to make it more interesting and enrich the additional dimensions of language.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang jenis majas dan fungsi penggunaan majas pada empat lirik lagu berbahasa Belanda oleh Suzan & Freek dalam album Dromen In Kleur. Suzan & Freek merupakan penyanyi duo asal Belanda yang pernah memperoleh penghargaan atas karya-karyanya, seperti album Dromen In Kleur yang memenangkan nominasi album terbaik pada acara penghargaan musik yang bergengsi di Belanda, Edison Popprijs 2022. Album Dromen In Kleur menarik untuk diteliti karena liriknya sangat dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui album ini, Suzan & Freek menceritakan perjalanan karir mereka di tengah masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendapatkan pemaparan tentang bagaimana majas berperan dalam empat lirik lagu Suzan & Freek dalam album Dromen In Kleur sehingga lagu-lagu tersebut mampu menyentuh dan menyemangati pendengarnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan empat lirik lagu Suzan & Freek dalam album Dromen In Kleur didominasi oleh penggunaan majas metafora. Selain itu juga terdapat majas simile, personifikasi, simbol, hiperbola, paradoks, dan metonimi. Penggunaan majas pada empat lirik ini tergolong efektif karena dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh pendengar serta setidaknya memenuhi satu dari empat standar fungsi yaitu kesenangan imajinatif, citra tambahan, intensitas emosional, dan sarana konsentrasi. ......This study discusses the types of figurative language and the functions of figurative language usage in four Dutch song lyrics by Suzan & Freek in the album Dromen In Kleur. Suzan & Freek are a duo singer from the Netherlands who have received awards for their works, such as the album Dromen In Kleur which won the best album nomination at Edison Popprijs 2022, one of the most prestigious music award events in the Netherlands. The album Dromen In Kleur is interesting to study because the lyrics are very close to everyday life. Through this album, Suzan & Freek tell their career journey in the midst of a pandemic. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The purpose of this research is to get an explanation of how figurative language play a role in the four lyrics of Suzan & Freek's songs in the album Dromen In Kleur so that the songs are able to touch and encourage the listeners. The results of this study show that Suzan & Freek's four song lyrics in the album Dromen In Kleur are dominated by the use of metaphor. In addition, there are also similes, personification, symbols, hyperbole, paradox, and metonymy. The use of figurative language in these four lyrics is effective because it can be understood well by listeners and fulfills at least one of the four standard functions, namely imaginative pleasure, additional imagery, emotional intensity, and means of concentration.

Rotterdam merupakan kota pelabuhan terbesar di Eropa yang telah melewati berbagai peristiwa sejarah. Penelitian ini membahas representasi peristiwa sejarah kota Rotterdam dalam lirik lagu “Rotterdam” karya Frederique Spigt yang rilis pada tahun 2000. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis makna denotatif dan makna konotatif dalam lirik lagu tersebut dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, konteks historis dan teori semiotika yang dikemukakan oleh Roland Barthes. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana karya seni lagu dapat merepresentasikan peristiwa sejarah sebuah kota? adapun pertanyaan penelitiannya bagaimana representasi peristiwa-peristiwa sejarah kota Rotterdam dalam lirik lagu ‘Rotterdam’ karya Frederique? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna-makna yang mengandung konteks sejarah kota Rotterdam pada lirik lagu tersebut. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa peristiwa sejarah tidak hanya terdapat pada dokumen-dokumen sejarah, tetapi juga bisa terdapat pada lirik lagu, seperti isi dari lirik lagu Rotterdam ini yang mengandung peristiwa-peristiwa sejarah kota Rotterdam. Secara keseluruhan lagu ini merepresentasikan gambaran yang kompleks terkait dengan perjalanan sejarah kota Rotterdam. Melalui lirik lagu penulis lirik merepresentasikan gambaran penderitaan, kemalangan, dan perubahan yang dialami kota Rotterdam. ......Rotterdam is the largest port city in Europe that has gone through various historical events. This research discusses the representation of the historical events of the city of Rotterdam in the lyrics of the song "Rotterdam" by Frederique Spigt which was released in 2000. This research will analyze the denotative meaning and connotative meaning in the song lyrics using qualitative methods, historical context and semiotic theory proposed by Roland Barthes. The formulation of the problem in this research is how can a song represent the historical events of a city? As for the research question, how is the representation of the historical events of the city of Rotterdam in the lyrics of the song 'Rotterdam' by Frederique Spigt? The purpose of this research is to describe the meanings that contain the historical context of the city of Rotterdam in the lyrics of the song. The results prove that historical events are not only found in historical documents, but can also be found in song lyrics, such as the content of the lyrics of this Rotterdam song which contains historical events of the city of Rotterdam. Overall, this song represents a complex picture related to the historical journey of the city of Rotterdam. Through the lyrics of the song the lyricist represents a picture of the suffering, misfortune, and change experienced by the city of Rotterdam.

Dalam sebuah film, jalur suara (soundtrack) berperan penting karena alunan nada dan liriknya dapat mempengaruhi sisi emosional dalam sebuah film. Seiring dengan kepopuleran dari sebuah film, jalur suara pun turut diterjemahkan ke dalam beberapa bahasa. Penelitian ini membahas prosedur dan metode penerjemahan lagu Un Poco Loco dari bahasa Inggris-Spanyol ke dalam Jerman-Spanyol. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan komparatif yang digunakan untuk membandingkan dua lirik lagu. Data ini diteliti menggunakan teori metode penerjemahan Newmark dan prosedur penerjemahan Vinay dan Darbelnet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode dan prosedur penerjemahan lagu Un Poco Loco dari bahasa Inggris-Spanyol ke bahasa Jerman-Spanyol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode utama yang digunakan adalah metode harfiah dan prosedur yang dominan digunakan adalah prosedur peminjaman dan harfiah. ......In a movie, the soundtrack holds an important role as the tunes and the lyrics can affect the emotional side of a movie. Along with the popularity of a movie, the soundtrack is also translated into several languages. This study discusses the procedure and method of translating the song “Un Poco Loco” from English-Spanish into German-Spanish. This study is a qualitative approach using descriptive and comparative research methods, which the author uses to compare two song lyrics. The data is analyzed using the theory of Newmark's translation method and Vinay and Darbelnet's translation procedure. The purpose of this study is to determine the methods and procedures of translating the song Un Poco Loco from English-Spanish to German-Spanish. The study results show that the main method used is the literal method and the dominant procedures used are borrowing and literal procedures.
