"Seiring dengan kemajuan jaman, sepertinya teknologi sudah tidak dapat dipisahkan lagi dengan dunia usaha termasuk didalamnya bidang jasa konstruksi. PC (Personal Computer) sebagai alat bantu pengelolaan informasi, pengambilan keputusan dan efisiensi, secara garis besar terbagi menjadi dua komponen utama yaitu hardware (perangkat keras) dan software (perangkat lunak) dan mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat pada akhir abad 20 ini, termasuk paket perangkat lunak manajemen proyek (project management software/PM software).Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan perangkat lunak manajemen proyek (project management software/PM software) terhadap kinerja waktu proyek konstruksi pada tahap pelaksanaan, dan mengidentifikasi variabel PM Software yang potensial untuk dimaksimalkan kinerjanya.Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan proyek PT. Rekayasa Industri, dengan cara melakukan wawancara kepada personil proyek, antara lain: project manager, project control engineer, site manager, management information system manager dan project engineer yang terlibat dalam 25 sampel proyek pada tahap pelaksanaan yang telah dipisahkan dan digunakan dalam penelitian ini.Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang positif antara variabelvariabel dalam PM Software terhadap kinerja waktu proyek konstruksi pada tahap pelaksanaan, variabel tersebut yaitu integrasi baseline, pelaksanaan, monitoring, proses informasi, analisa awal dan pelaporan mengenai jadwal dan tingkat fleksibilitas PM Software terhadap pengendalian perubahan jadwal proyek (schedule change control), sebagai komponen yang potensial untuk dimaksimalkan kinerjanya."
