Abstrak :
The practice of social work profession, especially in the field of education in Indonesia has not been able to help learning process conducive and to achieve successfully students in the teaching and learning process. this occurs because a profession of social workers (as helping profession in social problem) has not been known, in the field of education. In dealing with the problem of education, can be overcome with various methods of social work, sort of using a casework as a key approach to children and parents, consultation as the method of collaborating with teachers, administrators and community resources. The purpose of school social workers profession is to overcome various problems that occur in schools, with teachers, students, parents and surrounding community. in addition, social workers focus in identifying the problem of children difficulties during teaching and learning process, handle of related social problems face by students in performing social roles in their school. The role of school workers act as a source of ideas and education process supports, provided support services for children and their families at school in the context of school setting
