"The bearing capacity of footings on level ground can be predicted by different calculation methods, using the results of laboratory or in situ tests. In the other side the effects of proximity to a slope are poorly understood.
This study was performed as a research on the bearing capacity of foundation on slope, in particular the influence of the internal angle of. friction (Φ), the cohesion (c) of the soil and the eccentricity of the load applied have been analyzed.
The study was conducted using a numerical method that is based on the Finite Difference Method. Building the problem in this numerical method was studied first, then the validation of the code was obtained by comparison to experimental results available. Further the influence of the particular parameters was then studied and analyzed.
The model used is the Mohr-Coulomb model as an approach to the behavior of soil with parameters very easy to define from laboratory tests.
The analysis of the result was performed with making a comparison to the theory or the experimental results available."

"Jembatan Cisomang merupakan bagian dari ruas Jalan Tol Cikampek-Padalarang yang terletak pada KM 100+700. Berdasarkan laporan Pusjatan pada Desember 2016, bahwa terjadi pergeseran/deformasi lateral lereng sebesar 57,02 cm yang dapat menyebabkan keruntuhan/kegagalan struktur jembatan. Penyebabnya diduga karena adanya degradasi kekuatan dari jenis tanah clayshale akibat infiltrasi air Sungai Cisomang. Untuk itu dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis pengaruh perkuatan lereng dengan penambahan bore pile untuk mengurangi deformasi lateral yang terjadi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pemodelan tiga dimensi menggunakan software MIDAS GTS NX. Dilakukan pemodelan perkuatan bore pile dengan variasi jarak antar tiang dan diameter bore pile sehingga mendapatkan desain perkuatan bore pile dengan deformasi lateral yang paling kecil.

Cisomang Bridge is part of the Cikampek-Padalarang Toll Road section located at KM 100+700. Based on the Pusjatan report in December 2016, there was a lateral shift/deformation of the slope of 57.02 cm which could cause collapse/failure of the bridge structure. The cause is thought to be due to the degradation of the strength of the clayshale soil type due to water infiltration of the Cisomang River. For this reason, this research analyzes the effect of slope reinforcement with the addition of bore piles to reduce the lateral deformation that occurs. The research was conducted with three-dimensional modeling using MIDAS GTS NX software. Bore pile reinforcement modeling was carried out with variations in the distance between piles and bore pile diameter to obtain a bore pile reinforcement design with the smallest lateral deformation."
