"[ABSTRAKPara Tetangga ( Linjumen邻居们) merupakan salah satu cerita pendek yang ditulis pada tahun 1935 oleh penulis Cina Lao She. Walaupun Cerita Para Tetangga sederhana namun karakter dari para tokoh serta alur cerita menjadi hal yang membuat cerita ini menjadi menarik. Karya ini menceritakan tentang kehidupan bertetangga antara 2 keluarga yang berbeda sikap dan pemikiran. Makalah ini membahas bagaimana Lao She menggambarkan perbedaan perbedaan karakter 2 keluarga tersebut melalui tokoh-tokoh yang ia ciptakan. Selain itu makalah ini juga mengkaji bagaimana Lao She mengembangkan alur cerita sehingga dapat terlihat bagaimana akhir dari cerita tersebut.

ABSTRACTThe Neighbors( Linjumen邻居们) is one of short stories written in 1935 by the Chinese author, Lao She. Although the story remains to be the simple one but the differences among the characters along with its plot make the story become interesting. The story tells about the neihbourhood of two families with different character and thought. This paper describes about how Lao She shows the differences between 2 families through the characters. Cerita Anak Besi ini banyak mengandung simbol-simbol serta memiliki alur cerita yang menarik.Karya ini menceritakan tentang seorang anak kecil yang berteman dengan seorang anak yang disebut Anak Besipada masa Lompatan Jauh ke Depan. Makalah ini membahas mengenai bagaimana kondisi sosial pada masaLompatan Jauh ke Depan yang diungkap dalam cerita. Selain itu makalah ini juga mengkaji kaitan kondisi sosial yang diungkap dalam cerita tersebut dengan realita yang sebenarnya.

"Skripsi ini membahas perbedaan pemikiran dan tindakan tokoh utama serta penggunaan latar dalam cerpen Keluarga Pembuat Mangkuk Kayu. Konflik di dalam cerpen dibangun atas perbedaan kedua tokoh utama, yakni Huang Tua dan Huang Muda. Huang Tua digambarkan sebagai tokoh yang berkeyakinan pada leluhur sedangkan Huang Muda digambarkan sebagai tokoh yang hidup di masa yang lebih modern. Perbedaan pandangan tokoh ini mengambil latar setelah Reformasi Keterbukaan, yakni tahun 1980-an di Provinsi Shaanxi.

Cerpen ldquo;Kereta Api rdquo; merupakan salah satu karya Lao She yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1939 di kota Shanghai. Gerbong kereta api dan api di dalam cerpen memiliki makna simbolis yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan semiotik. Pertama-tama penulis akan mendeskripsikan latar tempat dan peristiwa kebakaran dalam cerpen, kemudian dikaitkan dengan unsur ekstrinsik yang ada di luar cerpen Kereta Api. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan makna filosofis yang terkandung dalam gerbong kereta api dan api.

Short story is a story that relatively short, the characteristic of short story is not about how long or short sentences, amount of words or page is, but the scope of the problem that author want to coveyed. ldquo The Train rdquo is one of Lao She rsquo s literatures which is published on 1939 in Shanghai city. The train and fire have deep symbolic meaning. This research uses descriptive analysis method with semiotic approach. First, writer will describe the setting and fire on the train in this related short story, and then associated with extrinsic elements of the short story. The purpose of this study is to explain the philosophical meaning of train and fire. "

"Cerpen "Perkawinan Yinyuan" adalah cerpen karya Kong Jiesheng yang dipublikasikan di Cina pada tahun 1978, dan pada tahun yang sama memenangkan penghargaan Cerita Pendek Terbaik Nasional. Cerpen Perkawinan berkisah tentang perkawinan yang dibangun oleh Liang Xiaozhen dan Wu Guoliang, setelah masa Revolusi Kebudayaan di Cina berakhir pada tahun 1976. Perjalanan cinta kedua tokoh untuk menuju perkawinan bukanlah hal yang mudah untuk dicapai, ini semua akibat status Guoliang sebagai guiqiao ??atau Cina Perantauan yang kembali ke Cina. Penerimaan para anggota partai di tempat kerja terhadap kehadiran Guoliang dan perbedaan pemahaman atas kebijakan partai yang berlaku, memicu munculnya perbedaan pandangan yang tajam atas hubungan kasih kedua tokoh utama. Perkawinan baru bisa direalisir setelah Revolusi Budaya berakhir. Makalah ini akan membahas beberapa faktor penyebab Guoliang didiskriminasi oleh sekitar semenjak ia kembali ke Cina, dan juga membahas kondisi sosial politik masa Revolusi Budaya 1966-1976 yang tercermin dalam cerita. Kedua hal inilah yang mempengaruhi perjalanan cintanya dengan Xiaozhen. Analisis atas karya menitik beratkan pada kajian intrinsik atas karya, namun sumber lain di luar karya sastra juga akan digunakan sebagai referensi pendukung atas kajian yang dikerjakan.

The short story entitled "Yinyuan marriage" is a story by Kong Jiesheng published in China in 1978, and in the same year it achieved the Best National Short Story. This short story tells about the marriage between Liang Xiaozhen and Wu Guoliang after the Cultural Revolution age was ended in 1976 in China. The couple's love story until their marriage was not an easy journey due to Guoliang's status as the guiqiao or the overseas Chinese who got back to China. The acceptance of the party's member in the work place to Guoliang's existence and the difference understanding about the party's policy triggered the totally different insight about the relationship between the couple. The marriage was eventually held after the Cultural Revolution ended. This paper discusses some factors which cause the discrimination to Guoliang after his comeback to China as well as the social and political condition in the Cultural Revolution age 1966 1976 reflected in the story. These two factors affect the love journey of the couple. The analysis of the work highlights the intrinsic analysis about the work, but other resources outside the literature work will also be used as the supporting reference of the analysis. "

"Cerpen Hati Seorang Budak (奴隶的心 Nuli de Xin) adalah karya yang ditulis oleh Ba Jin pada tahun 1931. Hati Seorang Budak mengambil perbudakan sebagai latar sosial cerpen. Cerpen ini menceritakan pertemanan antara Peng dan Zheng yang berbeda latar belakang keluarga. Peng adalah anak dari keluarga budak, sedangkan Zheng adalah anak dari keluarga pemilik budak. Latar belakang keluarga dan kondisi hidup yang bertolak belakang mempengaruhi karakter, sikap, cara hidup dan pandangan mereka terhadap perbudakan. Hal-hal tersebut hadir melalui dialog-dialog kedua tokoh, hampir di seluruh teks, yang dideskripsikan oleh Zheng sebagai narator cerita. Bagaimana pandangan kedua tokoh terhadap perbudakan, dan bagaimana sikap mereka dalam menghadapi perbudakan tersebut akan menjadi materi yang akan diulas dalam artikel ini. Melalui analisis tokoh dan penokohan Peng dan Zheng, dan mengupas pandangan masing-masing tokoh tentang lawan bicaranya, akan terlihat bahwa Peng sangat membenci kaum pemilik budak dan berambisi menjadi revolusioner untuk menghilangkan perbudakan, sedangkan Zheng menganggap menjadi pemilik budak adalah hal membanggakan.

The Heart of A Slave short story is the work of Ba Jin in 1931. The Heart of a Slave takes slavery as a storys social background. This story tells about a friendship between Peng and Zheng with different family backgrounds. Peng is a child of a slave family, while Zheng is a child of a family of slave owners.The difference of backgrounds and social conditions of Peng and Zheng affect their characters, attitude, the way of living, and views towards slavery. These things are present through the dialogues of the two characters, almost throughout the text,described by Zheng as the narrator of the story. How the two characters see slavery, and how they attitude facing slavery will be the focus of this article. Analyze the characterization of Peng and Zheng, and explore the views of each character about his interlocutor, will explain that Peng hates slave owners and has ambition to be a revolutionary to eliminate slavery, while Zheng assume being a slave owner is a proud thing."

"Cerpen Shigu (事故) atau Kecelakaan adalah cerpen yang ditulis oleh Murong Xuecun pada tahun 2012. Isi dari cerpen ini menceritakan peristiwa kecelakaan yang terjadi antara Pengacara dan Petani Tua di jalan, dan juga hadirnya seorang polisi untuk penyelesaian masalah. Beberapa Peneliti pernah melakukan kajian atas cerpen ini, fokus pembahasan mereka terletak pada salah satu tokoh dalam cerpen saja dan juga latar peristiwa yang dianggap mirip dengan kasus yang pernah terjadi di Cina pada tahun 2010. Cerpen ini meski singkat, menghadirkan alur cerita dari setiap tokoh yang terlibat peristiwa kecelakaan tersebut. Gambaran tokoh dalam berlalu lintas dan sikapnya, berikut kehadiran polisi dalam menangani kejadian disajikan cukup detil oleh pengarangnya. Poin-poin ini justru belum menjadi perhatian dari penelitian terdahulu. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan instrinsik didapat kesimpulan bahwa semua tokoh yang hadir dalam peristiwa kecelakaan tersebut masing-masing memiliki kesalahan, pengarang sebagai orang yang cukup paham pada masalah hukum, nampaknya menuliskan cerpen ini sebagai bentuk kepeduliannya terhadap masyarakat dan tindak berlalu lintas.

The short story Shigu (事故) or The Accident is a short story written by Murong Xuecun in 2012. The contents of this short story tell about an accident that happened between Lawyer and Old Farmer on the road, and also the presence of a policeman to solve the problem. Several researchers have conducted studies on this short story, the focus of their discussion lies on one of the characters in the short story and also the background of events that are considered similar to the case that occurred in China in 2010. This short story, although short, presents the storyline of each character who involved in the accident. The description of the character in traffic and their attitude, along with the presence of the police in handling the incident, is presented in sufficient detail by the author. These points have not been the concern of previous studies. By using the intrinsic approach, it can be concluded that all the characters present at the accident each had mistakes, the author as a person who is quite knowledgeable about legal issues, seems to write this short story as a form of concern for the community and traffic acts."
