"Kompositum nominal adalah jenis kompositum paling produktif di antara semua jenis kompositum. Kompositum terdiri dari setidaknya dua kata yang memiliki relasi semantis antar unsur-unsurnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi relasi semantis dalam kompositum nominal Bahasa Belanda dengan inti huis ‘rumah’. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori relasi semantis dari De Haas dan Trommelen (1993). Korpus diambil dari situs web https://mowb.muiswerken.nl/ dan https://woordenlijst.org/ berupa kompositum nominal N + N dengan inti huis ‘rumah’. Dari kedua sumber diambil 55 kompositum nominal yang digunakan sebagai data. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan 60 hubungan semantis pada 55 kompositum nominal. Relasi tujuan menjadi relasi semantis yang paling sering muncul dengan jumlah 41 kompositum. Lima kompositum nominal memiliki lebih dari satu relasi semantis. Sementara itu, relasi subjek, objek langsung, dan penyebab tidak ditemukan pada data. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa nominal huis paling banyak menunjukkan keterkaitan antara huis ‘rumah’ dan tujuan dibangunnya huis ‘rumah’ tersebut.

Nominal compound words represent the most productive type of compound words. These words consist of at least two words that have a semantic relationship between their elements. The objective of this study is to identify the semantic relations in Dutch nominal compounds with the word huis ‘house’ as the head of the compound. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The theory used in this study is the theory of semantic relations by De Haas and Trommelen (1993). The corpus is derived from the websites https://mowb.muiswerken.nl/ and https://woordenlijst.org/. It is an N+N nominal compound, with huis ‘house’ serving as the head of the compound. A total of 55 nominal compounds were selected from both sources for analysis. The analysis yielded 60 semantic relations in 55 nominal composites. The purpose relation emerged as the most frequent semantic relation, occurring in 41 compounds. Five nominal compounds exhibited multiple semantic relations. In contrast, the data did not reveal any instances of subject, direct object, or cause relations. The findings of this study indicate that the nominal huis predominantly represents the relationship between huis ‘house’ and the purpose of building huis ‘house’"
