"Pembangunan gedung di Indonesia semakin banyak dilakukan baik gedung bertingkat rendah maupun gedung bertingkat tinggi. Pembangunan gedung yang beragam dan kompleks harus mengutamakan pada aspek keselamatan dan rasa aman terhadap bangunan gedung dan lingkungannya. Salah satu hal yang penting dan harus diperhatikan dalam aspek keselamatan dari sebuah bangunan gedung merupakan keselamatan dari bahaya kebakaran. Bencana kebakaran tidak dapat diprediksi dan diduga sebelumnya serta dapat terjadi kapan saja dan dimana saja. Dalam meminimalisir bahaya kebakaran perlu adanya sistem proteksi kebakaran yang efektif pada bangunan gedung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif, sistem proteksi kebakaran pasif, serta sarana penyelamatan jiwa yang sesuai dengan berdasarkan Permen PU No. 26 Tahun 2008 tentang bangunan gedung dan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Objek praktek keinsinyuran yang dipilih adalah proyek pembangunan restoran urban forest fase II. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi kemudian dibandingkan dengan peraturan yang berlaku di Indonesia, yaitu Permen PU No. 26 Tahun 2008 tentang bangunan gedung dan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Penerapan sistem proteksi kebakaran proyek urban forest fase II adalah cukup (C) dan kesesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku, yaitu terpasang tetapi ada sebagian kecil sistem proteksi kebakaran yang tidak sesuai dengan persyaratan atau aturan yang berlaku. Penerapan sistem proteksi kebakaran pada proyek urban forest fase II telah memenuhi aspek profesionalisme, K3LL, dan kode etik keinsinyuran.

Building construction in Indonesia is increasingly being carried out both low-rise buildings and high-rise buildings. The construction of various and complex buildings must prioritize the safety and security aspects of the building and its environment. One of the important things that must be considered in the safety aspect of a building is safety from fire hazards. Fire disasters cannot be predicted and predicted in advance and can occur anytime and anywhere. In minimizing the danger of fire, it is necessary to have an effective fire protection system in the building. This study aims to determine the application of active fire protection systems, passive fire protection systems, and life-saving facilities that are in accordance with Permen PU No. 26 of 2008 concerning building buildings and Indonesian National Standards (SNI). The research object chosen was the urban forest restaurant construction project phase II. This research was conducted by means of interviews and observations and then compared with applicable regulations in Indonesia, namely Permen PU No. 26 of 2008 concerning building buildings and Indonesian National Standards (SNI). The implementation of the fire protection system of the urban forest project phase II is sufficient (C) and in accordance with applicable regulations, which is installed but there is a small part of the fire protection system that does not comply with applicable requirements or rules. The implementation of the fire protection system in the urban forest phase II project has fulfilled the aspects of professionalism, HSE, and the engineering code of ethics.

"Seiring terbatasnya ruang di Jakarta, perguruan tinggi mulai memanfaatkan lahan dengan membangun fasilitas pendidikan berupa bangunan bertingkat tinggi. Bangunan bertingkat tinggi khususnya gedung perkuliahan memiliki potensi bahaya kebakaran yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian besar. Dalam hal tindakan preventif, penanganan pada saat terjadinya kebakaran, dan tindakan pasca terjadinya kebakaran diperlukan fire safety management agar bahaya kebakaran tersebut dapat diminimalisir. Risiko kebakaran adalah termasuk salah satu faktor yang harus diminimalisirkan dalam suatu pengoperasian bangunan dimana asuransi adalah sebagai salah satu cara mengalihkan risiko tersebut. Akan tetapi, besaran biaya premi asuransi kebakaran di berbagai lembaga asuransi sangat beragam dikarenakan perbedaan faktor penentu biaya premi asuransi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi penerapan fire safety management pada gedung perkuliahan bertingkat tinggi di Jakarta dan menentukan faktor penentu biaya premi yang dipengaruhi oleh implementasi fire safety management. Faktor penentu tersebut sebagai alat bantu untuk menentukan besaran biaya premi asuransi kebakaran perusahaan asuransi. Penelitian ini mengacu pada studi literatur, survei, wawancara dan data yang didapat menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan work breakdown structure sebagai alat bantu untuk mendetailkan indikator yang memenuhi kriteria fire safety management dan data dianalisis menggunakan software SmartPLS 3.0. Berdasarkan hasil survei, data menunjukkan bahwa gedung perkuliahan bertingkat tinggi di Jakarta belum sepenuhnya mengimplementasikan fire safety management. Penerapan tertinggi pada dimensi pencegahan kebakaran pada bangunan gedung sebesar 83% dan terendah pada dimensi keselamatan orang pada saat terjadi kebakaran sebesar 78%. Dimensi yang paling signifikan mempengaruhi penentuan biaya premi asuransi yaitu dimensi pencegahan kebakaran pada bangunan gedung dan yang kurang signifikan mempengaruhi penentuan biaya premi asuransi yaitu dimensi keselamatan orang pada saat terjadi kebakaran.

As space is limited in Jakarta, universities have begun to utilize the land by building educational facilities in the form of high-rise buildings. High-rise buildings, especially
Lecture Buildings, have the potential for fire hazards which can cause large losses. In
terms of preventive action, handling when a fire occurs, and post-fire action, fire safety management is required so that the fire hazard can be minimized. Fire risk is one of the
factors that must be minimized in a building operation where insurance is a way of
transferring the risk. However, the amount of fire insurance premiums in various
insurance institutions varies greatly due to differences in the determinants of insurance premium costs. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the application of fire safety
management in high-rise lecture buildings in Jakarta and determine the determinants of
premium costs that are influenced by the implementation of fire safety management. This
determining factor is a tool to determine the amount of the insurance company's fire insurance premiums. This research refers to literature studies, surveys, interviews, and data obtained using a questionnaire instrument. This study uses the work breakdown
structure as a tool to detail indicators that meet the fire safety management criteria and
the data are analyzed using the SmartPLS 3.0 software. Based on the survey results, the data shows that the lecture buildings in Jakarta haven’t fully implemented fire safety
management. The highest implementation is in the dimension of fire protection in buildings 83% and the lowest is in the dimension safety of people in the event of a fire 78%. The dimension that most significantly affects the determination of the cost of insurance premiums is the dimension of fire prevention in buildings and the less
significant one influences the determination of the cost of insurance premiums, namely
the dimension of safety of people in the event of a fire.

"This paper examines the fire smoke hazards of commercial - multi-function buildings known as
Rumah Toko or ?Ruko" The fire simulation was carried out using the NIST Fire Dynamic Simulators
(FDS) model. The input for the model was taken from a typical design and sizes of this building built in
Indonesian cities. On the basis of a set fire, two (2) design scenarios have been analyzed, i.e. the
traditional design and an improved design. The results of this work show that in the ordinary design of
the Ruko building, smoke production during a fire can overcome the occupants in relatively short period
of time. Meanwhile the improved design by means of installing smoke shaft systems can improve the
venting capacity of the building. On the basis of smoke density level, the margin of safety for evacuation
efforts is extended from 160 s to more than 400 s by the use of smoke shaft systems.
