"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas Resource Development and
Installation (RDI), sebagai tahapan stabilisasi psikologis pada anak usia 9 tahun yang
mengalami trauma pada masa perkembangan. Penelitian dilakukan dalam empat sesi
yang setiap sesinya berlangsung selama 60 menit. Teknik RDI diterapkan guna
mengaktifasi perasaan aman dan sumber daya positif pada anak. Hasil dari penelitian
menunjukan kemampuan partisipan dalam mengembangkan perasaan aman. Partisipan
menunjukan perubahan perilaku yang terlihat dalam pengukuran Child Behavior
Checklist (CBCL) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Resource Developmental and
Installation (RDI) technique as a psychological stabilization in 9-years-old child with
developmental trauma. The study was done in a total of 4 sessions with each session
runs for 60 minutes. RDI protocols served as activating agent in order to activate
positive resources. The results of the intervention program show positive results. The
participant was able to successfully develop a sense of security and gain positive
resource. Participant indicates behavioral changes that were reflected in the Child
Behavioral Checklist (CBCL) scores pre and post intervention."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi Resource Development and Installation (RDI) pada remaja perempuan usia 16 tahun 10 bulan yang mengalami Traumatic Grief . RDI dilakukan dengan tiga tehnik, yaitu Point of Power, Absorption dan Four F ield. Tehnik Point of Power digunakan untuk membangkitkan resource positif yang dimiliki anak. Kemudian, tehnik Absorption digunakan untuk memroses ingatan menyedihkan tentang situasi yang mengingatkan anak pada mendiang/almarhum dan membangkitkan kekuatan anak untuk menghadapi situasi tersebut. Lalu, dilanjutkan menggunakan tehnik Four F ield untuk memvisualisasikan gambar atau bayangan yang masih mengganggu anak, tehnik ini juga bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan anak menghadapi materi traumatis di situasi sebenarnya. Tujuan dari terapi RDI adalah membangkitkan resource guna membentuk positive cognition yang akan bermanfaat untuk mengubah negative cognition pada anak.
Hasil terapi menunjukkan penurunan simptom traumatic grief yang cukup signifikan. Penurunan simptom dan tingkat ketergangguan terhadap materi trauma menjadi bukti telah terjadi pemrosesan informasi yang adaptif pada anak. Hal tersebut nampak dari perubahan perilaku anak yang tidak menampilkan hyperarousal, seperti tangisan yang tak terkendali dan kecemasan yang berlebihan. Setelah terapi, AM menjadi lebih tenang, dapat mengendalikan diri dan tidak larut dalam kesedihannya. AM juga menunjukkan indikasi pergeseran tahapan griefing menuju ke arah acceptance.

This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of therapy Resource Development and Installation (RDI) in a 16 years and 10 months girl who suffered Traumatic Grief. RDI performed with three techniques, there are Point of Power, Absorption and Four Field. Point of Power techniques are used to awaken positive resources owned by the child. Then, Absorption techniques used to process the sad memories of situations that remind the child of the deceased and awaken the resources/power of the child to deal with the situation. Then, proceed to use the Four Field technique to visualize an image or feeling that still interfere the children, this technique also aims to prepare the child face traumatic material in the actual situation. The goal of RDI therapy is to awaken resources in order to form a positive cognition that would be beneficial to change the negative cognition in children.
Results of therapy showed a decrease in the symptoms of traumatic grief significantly. The decrease in symptoms and subjective unit of distress of the traumatic material have proved that adaptive information processing in children is occurred. It is apparent from the changes in the behavior of the child who do not show hyperarousal, such as uncontrollable weeping and excessive anxiety. After therapy, AM becomes calmer, able to control herself and not dissolve in grief anymore. AM also showed indications of a shift griefing?s stage toward acceptance."

Self-esteem merupakan evaluasi diri yang penting bagi anak-anak dan orang dewasa. Self-esteem yang tinggi menyebabkan seseorang merasa bangga dan nyaman menjadi dirinya sendiri sehingga menimbulkan efek yang positif. Sementara itu, self-esteem yang rendah berhubungan dengan beragam gangguan psikologis. Resource Development and Installation (RDI) merupakan salah satu teknik yang awalnya digunakan untuk stabilisasi emosi. Dalam prosesnya terjadi penguatan pikiran positif mengenai diri yang merupakan komponen kognitif dari self-esteem. Penguatan ini dinilai mampu meningkatkan self-esteem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas RDI untuk meningkatkan self-esteem anak, khususnya anak sekolah dasar kelas empat. Penelitian dirancang secara eksperimen pada 54 orang anak kelas empat sekolah dasar. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan Self-Perception Profile for Childer (SPPC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi peningkatan self-esteem yang signifikan setelah pelaksanaan RDI.

In the procedure, positive cognition of self was being strenghtened. Positive cognition of self is a cognitive compoent of self-esteem. Therefore, by strenghtening the positive cognitions, the self esteem will increase as well. This study aim to evaluate the effectiveness of RDI to increase self-esteem. An experimental study conducted among 54 fourth grade elementary school children. The measurement used in this study is Self-Perception Profile for Children (SPPC). "Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penerapan Resource Development and Installation (RDI) untuk menurunkan simtom trauma pada anak dengan Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Partisipan merupakan anak laki-laki usia 8 tahun yang mengalami trauma seksual. Intervensi dilakukan selama 7 sesi menggunakan 4 teknik yaitu Point of Power, Container, Pendulation Exercise, dan Four Field.
Tujuan dari penerapan teknik RDI yaitu untuk mengurangi simtom trauma dengan meningkatkan sumber daya positif dan menurunkan perasaan-perasaan negatif.
Hasil intervensi menunjukkan adanya penurunan simtom trauma, peningkatan sumber daya positif, dan penurunan perasaan negatif yang terlihat dari penurunan skor CRIES-13. Selain itu, terjadi perubahan perilaku anak menjadi lebih adaptif. Anak merasa lebih mampu meregulasi emosi negatifnya dengan menggunakan sumber daya positif yang telah dipelajarinya.

This study was conducted to determine the therapeutic application of Resource Development and Installation (RDI) to reduce trauma symptoms on a child with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Participant was an 8 year old boy who?s experiencing sexual trauma. The intervention process was conducted in a total of 7 sessions using 4 RDI techniques including Point of Power, Container, Pendulation Exercise, and Four Field.
The purpose of RDI application was to reduce trauma symptoms by increasing positive resources and minimize negative cognitions.
The results showed decreasing of trauma symptoms and negative cognitions and an increase of positive resources and cognitions that is marked by lowering of scores obtained from CRIES-13. In addition, participant's behaviors were noted to be more adaptive. The participant felt that he?s able to regulate his negative emotion more using his positive resources.
