Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis informasi mengenai implementasi klirens etik penelitian bidang ilmu sosial dan humaniora di Universitas Indonesia kaitannya dalam perlindungan data dari perspektif manajemen rekod dan membangun penerapan manajemen rekod di Lembaga Komite Etik Penelitian Bidang Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Universitas Indonesia. Sebagai universitas dengan ranking teratas di Indonesia, Komite Etik Penelitian (KEP) bidang ilmu sosial dan humaniora di pilih sebagai objek penelitian. Terdiri dari tiga fakultas yaitu KEP Fakultas Psikologi, KEP Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, dan KEP Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi kasus. Pemilihan informan didasarkan pada teknik pusposive sampling, yakni anggota dan staf komite etik. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan klirens etik penelitian dalam bidang ilmu sosial dan humaniora sangat penting untuk melindungi hak dan keselamatan subjek penelitian. Klirens etik penelitian digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa penelitian yang dilakukan sesuai dengan standar etika yang berlaku, seperti prinsip kemanfaatan, penghormatan, dan keadilan. Upaya perlindungan data juga dilakukan Lembaga KEP dengan cara pengisian formulir pengajuan, yang berisikan beberapa hal yang harus dipenuhi oleh pemohon untuk mendapatkan lolos kaji etik, sebagai berikut (a). Pengisian informed consent; (b) Anonimitas dan Kerahasiaan. Ada persamaan yang signifikan dalam penerapan manajemen rekod di lembaga KEP Bidang Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora di Universitas Indonesia, yaitu: tahap penciptaan; tahap distribusi rekod; tahap penggunaan rekod; tahap pemeliharaan; dan tahap pemusnahan.
......This research aims to analyse information regarding the implementation of research ethics clearance in the social sciences and humanities at the University of Indonesia in relation to data protection from a records management perspective and build records management implementation at the Institute for Research Ethics Committees in the Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Indonesia. As the top-ranking university in Indonesia, the Research Ethics Committee (KEP) in the social sciences and humanities field was selected as the research object. It consists of three faculties: the KEP of the Faculty of Psychology, the KEP of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and the KEP of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political. This research used a qualitative approach based on case studies. The selection of informants was based on a purposive sampling technique, namely members and staff of the ethics committee. The data collection method was carried out using interview techniques. The research results demonstrated that the application of research ethical clearance in the social sciences and humanities fields is crucial to protecting the rights and safety of research subjects. Research ethical clearance was used to ensure that the research conducted is in accordance with applicable ethical standards, such as the principles of benefit, respect, and justice. Data protection efforts were also carried out by the KEP Institution by filling out an application form, which contains several requirements that must be fulfilled by the applicant to pass the ethical review, as follows: (a) filling out informed consent; (b) anonymity and confidentiality. There were significant similarities in the implementation of records management at KEP institutions in the Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Indonesia, namely: the creation stage; record distribution stage; record usage stage; maintenance stage; and the extinction stage.
