Abstrak :
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari teknik dan metode pengolahan data optik ALOS dengan metode fusi (pansharpening) data ALOS (AVNIR-2 dan PRISM) untuk identifikasi objek-objek penutup lahan/tanaman pertanian sawah. Metode pelaksanaan penelitian adalah berdasarkan literatur dan dengan melakukan penelitian atau uji coba pada suatu daerah studi kasus, dan melakukan pula penilaian hasil-hasil pengolahan dengan melakukan analisis visual data citra Pansharp ALOS yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini menggunakan data ALOS (AVNIR-2 dan PRISM), akuisisi tanggal 12 Juni 2006, yang meliput daerah studi kasus: daerah pertanian Bantul, DIY. Dari uji coba yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa untuk identifikasi objek-objek penutup lahan/tanaman pertanian sawah, citra Pansharp, hasil metode Pansharpening (HSV Image Sharpening) AVNIR-2 komposit 321 dan PRISM (nadir), adalah terbaik dibandingkan dengan metode-metode lain: a) Color Normalized (Brovey), b) Gram-Schmidt Spectral Sharpening, dan c) PC Spectral Sharpening. Hasil lainnya adalah peta citra informasi spasial objek-objek penutup lahan/tanaman pertanian sawah, skala 1:50.000, hasil digitasi on-screen menggunakan data citra Pansharp ALOS (AVNIR-2 dan PRISM), perekaman tanggal 12 Juni 2006 yang meliput daerah pertanian Bantul, DIY.

Makalah ini merupakan publikasi pertama yang mengungapkan hasil studi palinologi pada sedimen laut berumur Perem di Timor Barat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kandungan fosil palinomorfnya. Sebelumnya studi palinologi pernah juga dilakukan pada sedimen Perem, tetapi khusus untuk sedimen non-marin. Sebanyak 16 perconto dipilih dari bantuan yang tersingkap di sungai Lilana. Singkapan batuan ini merupakan bagian dari Formasi Bisane yang tersusun oleh perselingan serpih dan batupasir gampingan. Untuk mendapatkan kandungan fosil palinomorf, perconto diproses di laboratorium menggunakan teknik preparasi standar seperti acid maceration dan oksidasi. Studi ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif yaitu menghitung fosil palinomorf yang muncul pada setiap perconto. Studi palinologi memperlihatkan kandungan polen rendah sampai sedang yang umumnya terdiri atas striate dan non-striate bisaccates serta trilete monosaccates. Fosil index penentu umur berhasil ditemukan antara lain Protohaploxypinus samoilovichi, Lunatisporites pellucidus, Falcisporites australis, Plicatipollenites malabarensis and Cannanoropollis janakii. Berdasarkan kehadiran fosil index ini yang juga ditemukan pada sedimen non-marin, disimpulkan bahwa umur perconto batuan adalah Perem. Di sisi lain, kemunculan dinoflagelata laut Dapsilidium langii dan Veryhachim reductum ditunjang melimpahnya fosil makro chrinoids menunjukan lingkungan pengendapan laut dangkal. Hasil riset yang menarik adalah ditemukannya alga hijau Tasmanites sp. dalam jumlah cukup yang merupakan bukti kuat bahwa sedimen laut dangkal Formasi Bisane yang berumur Perem merupakan batuan induk hidrokarbon di Timor Barat.

It should come as no surprise that tooth loss and age are linked. It has been documented that there is a specific tooth loss relationship with increasing age because some teeth are retained longer than others. There is an interarch difference in tooth loss, with the maxillary tooth loss before mandibular teeth. There is also an intraach difference with posterior teeth loss before anterior teeth. Frequently, the last remaining teeth in the mouth are the mandibular anterior teeth, sometimes accompanied by compromised conditions, and it is a common finding to see an edentulous maxilla opposing mandibular anterior teeth. The swing-lock romavable partial denture concept offers a way of maximizing the retention and stability of the removable partial denture and be very useful in restoring the extremely compromised dentition. The retentive and stability denture enchance the quality of life by serving esthetic, mastication and phonetic funtions.

ABSTRACT
The decrease in oil production is caused by the ageing of oil production wells. The enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technology is proven to increase oil reserves and production in mature oil fields. One EOR technology that has proven to be efficient in increasing oil production is microbial EOR by using biosurfactant. The most effective biosurfactant is rhamnolipid produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the bacteria of which can lower the interfacial tension between the petroleum and water. In biosurfactant's production thanks to these bacteria, the substrate as the source of carbon in the fermentation process is needed. The sources of carbon used in this study are glucose, glycerol, molasses,banana peels, and waste cooking oil. This research aims to determine the most optimum carbon sources to produce biosurfactant from Pseudomonas aeruginosa by using Busnell Hass medium as a liquid medium of bacterial growth. Biosurfactant's production result are: 74mb/L from glucose; 63mg/L from banana peels; 66mg/L from glycerol; 85mg/L from waste cooking oil; and 64mg/L of molasses with the following decreasing surface tension: 33.55 mN/m from glucose; 32.51 mN/m from banana peels; 27.55 mN/m from glycerol; 22.46 mN/m from waste cooking oil; and 31.49 mN/m from molasses are as follows: 15.2 mN/m; 13.78 mN/m; 8:15 mN/m; 0.14 mN/m; and 11.2 mN/m respectively.

ABSTRACT
Researchers have started focusing their research on alternative fuels. During the last two decades, Dimethyl Ether (DME) has emerged as a new potential fuel to subtitute for oil and its derivatives. Raw materials for DME from sources such as coal, biomass, natural gas and also crude oil are spread all over the world so the interest is growing for using it as an energy source. While the technology for processing raw materials into DME is well established, the technology for DME applications for a wide range of usages is still being developed. The range of DME usage includes for automotive purposes, in industrial sectors, for household applications, and there is even fundamental research to discover more knowledge about DME safety and another technical considerations. Many research activities are now intensively been used to develop the technology for DME application. Some opportunities for discovering more application are also discussed in this paper.
