As a populist party, PTI succeeded in ending the long dominance of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) dynasties, which had been in power for decades. PTI's success is driven by its populist track record, both in the form of rhetoric, political policies, and actions outside of government. Imran Khan, as the leader of the PTI, took advantage of the situation of public disappointment with the PML-N and PPP governments, which were considered incompetent in dealing with various issues of corruption, nepotism, and uneven policies. In this case, Imran Khan positions PTI as an alternative to these various issues. In its research, this article uses a qualitative approach by analyzing secondary data in the form of related articles, journals, videos, and books to analyze PTI's populism from its inception until its victory in the 2018 general election. This article will also use party studies to descriptively analyze the differences between PTI, PML-N, and PPP. Furthermore, this article will use the theory of populism (Mudde and Kaltwasser, 2017), which states that populism is a political phenomenon that arises as a response to certain structural conditions in society. The findings of this research indicate that PTI's success was not only based on an effective campaign strategy but also that there was momentum in Pakistan's political landscape that allowed a populist party like PTI to gain significant public attention and ultimately win the 2018 general elections."

"The work discusses a significant event that occurred on May 1, 2021, when the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador removed the Justices of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice before their term expiration, violating legal procedures. This action was facilitated by a combination of populist rhetoric from the President and abuse of power by the Legislative Assembly. Referred to as Constitutional Authoritarian-Populism, this trend undermines the rule of law. The text outlines the Salvadoran constitutional framework and discusses concepts like judicial independence, populism, abusive constitutionalism, and authoritarianism in the Latin American context. It then examines instances of Constitutional Authoritarian-Populism in El Salvador from 2019 to 2023, demonstrating that the removal of the Justices wasn’t spontaneous. Finally, it analyzes the process of removal, the response from the removed Justices, and the subsequent decision by newly appointed Justices to authorize presidential re-election in El Salvador."
