Abstrak :
Senyawa 25,26,27,28,- tetrakarboksi -5,11,17,23 -tetra-tertbutilkaliks[ 4]arena, L- adalah ligan makrosiklik yang memiliki empat gugus karboksilat dan ukuran rongga yaang sesuai dengan ukuran jari-jari kation. Hal ini dimanfaatkan untuk membentuk kompleks dengan ion logam secara selektif melalui pertukaran ion, ikatan koordinasi, dan efek rongga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan gugus karboksilat dalam ligan kaliks[4]arena pada ekstraksi kompleks Na-LH4 terhadap efisiensi ekstraksi, dibandingkan dengan kompleks Na+ dengan ligan LH2 yang hanya memiliki dua gugus karboksilat serta peran Na+ tersebut pada ekstraksi kompleks Ln-LH4 (Ln = Yb, Sm) dalam larutan buffer asetat dan larutan campuran tetrametilamoniumhidroksida dan HCl (TMAH·HCl). Untuk itu, dipelajari pengaruh pH fasa air dan konsentrasi LH4 bebas di fasa organik. Berdasarkan distribusi kompleks yang diperoleh pada berbagai kondisi reaksi tersebut, dapat diperkirakan proses ekstraksi pengompleksan yang terjadi dan spesi yang terbentuk. Hasil percobaan menunj ukkan bahwa dengan membandingkan persen ekstraksi kompleks Na-LH2 terhadap persen ekstraksi kompleks Na-L-, efisiensi ekstraksi meningkat dengan bertambannya gugus karboksilat yang dimiliki suatu ligan. Selain itu, efisiensi ekstraksi meningkat dengan bertambahnya pH fasa air dan kosentrasi ligan bebas di fasa organik. Hal yang serupa terjadi pula pada ekstraksi kompleks Ln-LH4 (Yb, Sm). Pada ekstraksi kompleks Ln3+ ini melibatkan dua spesi kompleks dengan spes1 kompleks pertama LH3 Yb Na+ terletak pada daerah yang lebih asam dibandingkan spesi kompleks kedua LH2 YbNa2+ akibat adanya ion logam natrium yang dapat bertindak sebagai koekstraktan, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi ekstraksi kompleks lantanida.

Abstrak :
The authors now focus on the long-time behavior of evolution inclusions, based on the theory of extremal solutions to differential-operator problems. This approach is used to solve problems in climate research, geophysics, aerohydrodynamics, chemical kinetics or fluid dynamics. As in the previous volumes, the authors present a toolbox of mathematical equations. The book is based on seminars and lecture courses on multi-valued and non-linear analysis and their geophysical application.

This is the first volume of a two volume set which presents the results of the 31st International Symposium on Shock Waves (ISSW31), held in Nagoya, Japan in 2017. It was organized with support from the International Shock Wave Institute (ISWI), Shock Wave Research Society of Japan, School of Engineering of Nagoya University, and other societies, organizations, governments and industry. The ISSW31 focused on the following areas: Blast waves, chemical reacting flows, chemical kinetics, detonation and combustion, ignition, facilities, diagnostics, flow visualization, spectroscopy, numerical methods, shock waves in rarefied flows, shock waves in dense gases, shock waves in liquids, shock waves in solids, impact and compaction, supersonic jet, multiphase flow, plasmas, magnetohyrdrodynamics, propulsion, shock waves in internal flows, pseudo-shock wave and shock train, nozzle flow, re-entry gasdynamics, shock waves in space, Richtmyer-Meshkov instability, shock/boundary layer interaction, shock/vortex interaction, shock wave reflection/interaction, shock wave interaction with dusty media, shock wave interaction with granular media, shock wave interaction with porous media, shock wave interaction with obstacles, supersonic and hypersonic flows, sonic boom, shock wave focusing, safety against shock loading, shock waves for material processing, shock-like phenomena, and shock wave education. These proceedings contain the papers presented at the symposium and serve as a reference for the participants of the ISSW 31 and individuals interested in these fields.

Filled with appealing tropes, humor, and whimsical asides, Kopp’s short book provided an examination of the chemistry and physics of his day that was always light-hearted on the surface, but often surprisingly profound. The book provides a revealing tour of nineteenth-century debates concerning chemical theory.

This book about fluorinated liquid crystals : design of soft nanostructures and increased complexity of self-assembly by perfluorinated segments, liquid crystalline crown ethers, star-shaped mesogens – hekates : the most basic star structure with three branches, DNA-based soft phases, phases made of bent-core mesogens, achiral symmetry breaking in liquid crystalline phases, and nanoparticles in liquid crystals and liquid crystalline nanoparticles, stimuli-responsive photoluminescent liquid crystals.
