"Pengelolaan sediaan farmasi di Puskesmas meliputi pengendalian persediaan, penggunaan, dan masa kedaluwarsa obatnya. Obat kedaluwarsa atau rusak tidak diperkenankan untuk diberikan kepada pasien, sebab dapat menyebabkan efek toksik yang membahayakan jika dikonsumsi. Oleh sebab itu pemantauan kedaluwarsa obat harus dilakukan untuk meminimalkan hal yang tidak diinginkan. Tujuan monitoring kedaluwarsa obat ditujuan untuk mendata ketersediaan obat yang kedaluwarsa pada tahun 2022 dan menindaklanjuti obat-obat yang kedaluwarsa di Puskesmas Kecamatan Kramat Jati. Monitoring dilakukan dengan merekapitulasi stock opname persediaan obat setiap bulannya untuk dievaluasi. Hasil monitoring pada tahun 2022 didapatkan hasil 16 obat kedaluwarsa pada tahun 2022 dengan persentase sebesar 2,18% dari seluruh unit persediaan di gudang induk. Penanganan obat kedaluwarsa di Puskesmas Kecataman Kramat Jati adalah dilakukan karantina 1 bulan sebelum obat tersebut kedaluwarsa untuk mencegah penggunaan obat tersebut. Obat yang telah kedaluwarsa akan dimusnahkan oleh pihak eksternal sesuai dengan prosedur pemusnahan obat dengan memperhatikan keramahan lingkungan.
The management of pharmaceutical preparations at Puskesmas (Community Health Centers) includes controlling inventory, usage, and the expiration dates of drugs. Expired or damaged drug should not be given to patients as they can cause harmful toxic effects if consumed. Therefore, monitoring of medication expiration dates must be conducted to minimize undesirable outcomes. The objective of monitoring medication expiration dates is to recapitulation the availability of expired medications in the year 2022 and to take necessary actions regarding the expired drugs at Puskesmas Kecamatan Kramat Jati. Monitoring is performed by recapitulating the stock opname (inventory count) of medications every month for evaluation. The results of the monitoring in the year 2022 revealed that there were 16 expired medications, accounting for approximately 2.18% of the entire inventory in the main warehouse. The handling of expired medications at Puskesmas Kecamatan Kramat Jati involves quarantining them one month before their expiration date to prevent their use. The expired medications will be disposed of by external parties following the drug disposal procedures while considering environmental safety."
