Abstrak :
This paper deals with accretion of shoreline around and within Segara Anakan, an inland sea or a brakish water estuary on the SW of Central Java, based on remote sensing data, field observation and ancient maps depiciting this area. Coastal accretionary processes display two distinct models: (I) in the east, notrth, and south coast of Segara Anakan the extension takes place as gradual accretion along the existing shoreline and is quickly colonised and stabilished by magrove vegetation and (ii) in Segara Anakan new islands emerge e.g. the Api-Api Karanganyar Island and also are quickly colonised and stabilished by magrove vegetation.

in this article, two methods are proposed to give the interval estimation for quantile on exponential distribution under double type II censoring. The interval estimation for quantile can be made from estimation parameters Raqab (1995) and Balakrishnan (1990) use maximum likelihood estimator to construct interval estimation for parameters exponential distributed. We will use another method, known as the bootstrap percentile rom Efron (1979). This method gives shorter interval than the traditional method and this method does not need an assumption that the sample is distributed exponentially

Abstrak :
Erasmus Darwin has often been cited as the most widely talented man of the past 250 years. He excelled in medicine and poetry, was an inventor and a man of science, and founded numerous societies. This collection of 460 of Darwin's letters, of which over half have never been published, provides many insights into the life of this amazing man." "Darwin was famous throughout Britain as a physician, and his medical letters to patients, and private letters to his physician son Robert spiced with outspoken medical opinions, are a rich source for historians of medicine. His lively letters to the 'Lunar Men', Boulton, Watt, Keir and Wedgwood, throw light on the progress of the Industrial Revolution in England. The letters also show that as a man of science, Erasmus Darwin was enthusiastic about physics, chemistry, meteorology and biology. This unique collection reveals not only the variety of Erasmus Darwin's talents, but also his wide range of important friendships.
