Abstrak :
"ngasaq" or tooth grinding traditional is the one of the culture of the Sasak's etnic group in Lombok. The sensation of tingling or acute tooth pain as the result of tooth erosion have been the symptom that became the prominent complaint of the "pengasaq". The aim of the research were obtained the illustration and the difference in sensitivity interelements of the anterior tooth of the adolescent and young adult Sasak's etnic group women that carried out "ngasaq". The method of the research was quasi experimental through the approach of the electrical stimulus from the dentotest tester to induce the physiological tooth pain, that were measured the NARN, pain reaction threshold. The subjects of the research were the anterior tooth of the 30 healthy adolescent and young adult Sasak's ethnic group women that carried out "ngasaq" and as the control of the research were the tooth of the 30 subjects without "ngasaq". The results of the research showed that the mean of the pain reaction threshold (NARN) of the maxillary and mandibulary anterior tooth that were the central incisors, the lateral incisors, and the canines after "ngasaq" in the adolescent were: 4.15; 4.38; 5.48 and 3.08; 3.75; 4.85; in the young adult were: 2.26; 2.78; 4.03; and 2.52; 2.77; 3.70. Without "ngasaq", in the adolescent were: 4.52; 5.37; 6.25 and 3.40; 3.77; 5.25; in the young adult: 3.00; 3.23; 34.33 and 3.17; 3.40; 4.12. The statistical test t student (p=0.05) in the adolescent showed that t were: 1.52; 1.43; 1.10 and 0.99; 0.56; 0.77; in young adult were: 0.808; 1.38; 0.793 and 0.588; 0.517; 0.992. The conclusion of the research showed that the mean of the "pengasaq" tooth sensitivity was relatively more lower than tooth sensitivity without "ngasaq", so that was no significant tooth sensitivity difference in the interelements of the anterior tooth, in the adolescent and young adult of the Sasak's ethnic group women.
