Ineffective health management is a problem in mentally ill patient if not handled will harm to clients, families, communities, and even the government.The aim of this study was to identify the effect of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) on Inefective health management and identfy adherance, acceptance, and commitment in the regimen to achieve independent self care. The research approach used in this study was case study conducted on 5 respondents consist of mentally ill patient with Ineffective health management. Measurement used the MARS (Medication Adherence Rating Scale). The analysis result showed, after the client were given ACT and nursing intervention, the adherence increased 71% (14 points), the acceptance ability and commitment increased into 70% on five clients with Ineffective health management. Medication adherence, acceptance and commitment level were lower on the younger clients, client who gets stigma from family and client with lack of family support. Nursing care and ACT were recommended as the basic management of mentally ill patient with Ineffective health management and Orem's theory as an approach in increasing self care.
Agresivitas memiliki dampak tidak hanya bagi klien, tetapi juga terhadap keluarga atau caregiver. Pada keluarga dengan anggota yang memiliki perilaku agresif, anggota keluarga yang lain, pengasuh dan mereka yang berhubungan dekat dengan individu yang bersangkutan kemungkinan besar akan mengalami cedera. Ibu sering menjadi target perilaku kekerasan karena ibu menjadi caregiver utama dari anak dengan gangguan jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman Ibu dalam menghadapi agresivitas Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa (ODGJ). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi interpretative. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis tematik Interpretative Phenemenological Analysis dan mendapatkan tiga tema yaitu agresivitas meningkatkan intensitas beban Ibu, ambivalensi perasaan dalam menghadapi agresivitas ODGJ, dan spiritualitas sebagai mekanisme koping utama dalam menghadapi agresivitas. Dengan demikian perawat bisa memberikan perhatian khusus kepada keluarga yang memiliki ODGJ dengan risiko perilaku kekerasan dengan mengaplikasikan intervensi keperawatan yang berfokus pada keluarga terutama Ibu yang merawat
Agressivity has impact not only on clients, but also on family or caregivers. In families with members who commit aggressive behavior, other family members, caregivers and those who are in close contact with the individual concerned are more likely to experience injury. Mothers are often the target of violent behavior because mothers are the primary caregiver of children with mental disorders. This study aims to explore the phenomenon of aggressiveness of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) in the perspective of the mother. This study uses a qualitative research design with an interpretative phenomenology approach. Data were analyzed using thematic Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis and obtained three themes, namely aggressiveness increasing the intensity of maternal burden, ambivalence of feelings in the dealing with aggressiveness, and spirituality as the main coping mechanism in dealing with agressivity. Thus nurses can give special attention to families that have mentally ill member with the risk of violent behavior by applying nursing interventions that focus on the family especially mother as caregiver.
