"ABSTRAKDalam industri maritim, komponen kapal termasuk indutri pemasok. Galangan kapal hanya melakukan proses pemasangan saja tanpa memproduksi komponen kapal. Dengan adanya rencana dibangunnya Kawasan Industri Maritim Tanggamus diharapkan dapat meningkatkan industri perkapalan di Indonesia. Didalam penelitian ini, penulis menganalisa penempatan tata letak industri pemasok yang akan dibangun pada Kawasan Industri Maritim. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa penempatan industri pemasok pada Kavling berupa industri apa saja yang termasuk dalam kavling yang akan dijadikan fabrikasi maupun distributor.

ABSTRACTIn maritime industry, ship?s components are being produced in supplier industries. The shipyards only do the outfitting process without producing the ship components. By the plan of the development of Maritime Industrial Estate of Tanggamus, it is supposed to improve the performance of ship industries in Indonesia. In this research, writers analize the best placement layout of supplier industries that will be built in Maritime Industrial Estate. Results of this research is a supplier industries placement in the form of the industry Kavling what is included in a kavling which will be fabricated and distributors."

Skripsi ini membahas tentang kebijakan penghapusan pajak pertambahan nilai atas impor komponen kapal untuk meningkatkan daya saing bagi industri galangan kapal nasional. Pembahasan berdasarkan latar belakang dikeluarkannya kebijakan azas cabotage yang meningkatkan armada kapal nasional namun lebih condong ke arah import kapal ketimbang memproduksi kapal di dalam negeri, karena terdapat perbedaan harga produksi sangat jauh ketimbang mengimport langsung dari luar negeri. Setelah azas cabotage tahap pertama dilaksanakan maka tahap berikutnya adalah mendorong regulasi pemberian insentif yang sama dari pemerintah untuk industri galangan kapal nasional. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran terkait besarnya perputaran investasi ekonomi bila pembangunan dilakukan di galangan kapal nasional.

ABSTRACT

This thesis discusses the policy of removal of value added tax upon import of ship components to enhance the competitiveness of the national shipbuilding industry. Discussion upon the promulgation of the policy background the principle of cabotage that enhance national flotilla but more leaning towards import ships rather than producing boats in the country, because there is a difference in price of production very much rather than imported directly from overseas. After the first stage of the cabotage principles then the next stage is to encourage regulation of granting the same incentives from the Government to the national shipbuilding industry. The results of this research gives an overview concerning the magnitude of the turnaround in economic investment when construction is done at national shipyards.
