Abstrak :
Laki-laki dan perempuan adalah sistem biner pada gender yang normatif yang hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Namun, terdapat pula variasi identitas gender lainnya, meliputi transgender, agender, genderqueer, androginitas, atau kombinasi dari identitas- id ent it as t ersebut . Selain it u t erd apat pula variasi orient asi seksual, sepert i heteroseksual, homoseksual, dan aseksual. Variasi identitas gender dan orientasi seksual dapat dipengaruhi oleh peran sosial dan pengalaman traumatis, yang terlihat dalam film Indonesia Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku (2018). Fokus penelitian ada pada konstruksi identitas gender tokoh utama, Juno. Film dibedah menggunakan teori film Boggs dan Petrie untuk membedah aspek naratif dan sinematografis, kajian gender Judith Butler, dan kajian queer Brett Beemyn dan Eliason untuk membedah ideologi teks. Ketertarikan terhadap laki-laki menjadi hasil dari peran pengalaman traumatis Juno d alam mengonst ruksi id ent it as gend ernya, sed angkan peran sosial menghasilkan konstruksi identitas gender Juno yang mengarah pada adanya sifat-sifat feminin di dalam tubuh Juno yang secara alami maskulin. Dilihat dari posisi film, identitas gender Juno adalah non-biner yang perlu dihargai dan boleh hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Terdapat adanya kritik film terhadap kepura-puraan masyarakat identitas non-biner yang menjalani kehidupan sesuai norma heteroseksualitas. ......Men and women are binary systems on normative gender that are present in society. However, other variations of gender identity are also present in society, including transgender, agender, genderqueer, androgynous, or a combination of those identities. There are also variations of sexual identity, such as heterosexual, homosexual, and asexual. Variations in gender identity and sexual identity can be influenced by social roles and traumatic experiences of the individual which depicted in the Indonesian film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku (2018). The research focuses on the construction of the main character's gender identity. The film is analyzed using Boggs and Petrie’s film theory to dissect the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film, Judith Butler’s gender studies, and queer studies from Brett Beemyn and Eliason to dissect the ideology of the text. The attraction to men is the result of Juno's traumatic experience in constructing his gender identity, while social roles result in Juno's gender identity construction which leads to the presence of feminine traits in Juno's naturally masculine body. Judging from the film's position, Juno's gender identity is placed as a non-binary that needs to be respected and allowed to be present in society. There is also film criticism against the pretense of society with its non-binary identity who lives a life according to the norms of heterosexuality.

Perempuan rentan diposisikan sebagai objek yang dinilai berdasarkan bentuk tubuh dan penampilannya. Hal ini menyebabkan terbentuknya wacana objektifikasi terhadap perempuan. Wacana tersebut terdapat pada salah satu film Indonesia yang disutradarai oleh Ernest Prakasa, yaitu film Imperfect: Karier, Cinta, dan Timbangan (2019) yang menjadi korpus penelitian ini. Pemosisian perempuan sebagai objek di dalam film memicu perlawanan perempuan untuk terlepas dari praktik objektifikasi. Dengan menggunakan teori sinema Bordwell dan Thompson, teori objektifikasi Nussbaum, dan kritik feminis Bartky, penelitian ini berusaha membongkar struktur film dan menganalisis praktik objektifikasi serta upaya pendisiplinan tubuh perempuan di dalam film. Selanjutnya, konsep new femininity Taylor digunakan untuk menganalisis strategi perempuan yang dihadirkan di dalam film. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa film ini berusaha menampilkan pandangan kritis terhadap objektifikasi perempuan dengan menampilkan perlawanan terhadap konstruksi tubuh ideal. Perlawanan dihadirkan melalui kesadaran perempuan sebagai seorang subjek dan menampilkan feminitas sebagai bentuk ekspresi diri, bukan sebagai hasil konstruksi kecantikan yang berlaku. ......Women are vulnerably positioned as objects that are judged based on their body shape and appearance. This has led to the formation of a discourse of objectification toward women. This discourse is contained in one of the Indonesian films directed by Ernest Prakasa, Imperfect: Karier, Cinta, dan Timbangan (2019). The film is the corpus of this research. The positioning of women as objects in the film triggers women's resistance to being separated from the practice of objectification. By using Bordwell and Thompson's theory of cinema, Nussbaum's theory of objectification, and Bartky's feminist critique, this study tries to uncover the film’s structure and analyze the practice of objectification and efforts to discipline the female body in films. Furthermore, Taylor's new femininity concept is used to analyze the strategies of women presented in the film. The study found that this film attempts to present a critical view of the objectification of women by showing resistance to the ideal body’s construction. Resistance is presented through the awareness of women as a subject and shows femininity as a form of self-expression, not because of the existing beauty construction.

Skripsi ini memaparkan visualisasi Pertempuran Okinawa yang terjadi pada tahun 1945 dalam animasi Gegege no Kitaro: Yokai Daisenso (1968) karya Mizuki Shigeru. Pembahasan ini berfokus kepada pengkajian visual animasi menggunakan teori film milik Joseph M. Boggs (2008) yang didukung oleh teori sinematografi milik Blain Brown (2012). Visualisasi Pertempuran Okinawa dalam animasi Gegege No Kitaro: Yokai Daisensou merupakan salah satu bentuk produk budaya populer yang berfungsi untuk membentuk memori kolektif masyarakat. Gegege No Kitaro: Yokai Daisensou menceritakan perang antara yokai barat yang ingin menjajah Jepang dan yokai Jepang yang mempertahankan Jepang. Analisis menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa visualisasi Pertempuran Okinawa mengandung ideologi resistensi Jepang terhadap negara Barat, terutama Amerika.

ABSTRACT
This research will discuss about how Battle of Okinawa which happened in 1945 is visualized in the animation titled ?Gegege no Kitaro: Yokai Daisenso (1968)? by Mizuki Shigeru. The discussion will focus on animated visual study using Joseph M. Boggs? (2008) film theory supported by Blain Brown?s (2012) cinematography theory. The visualization of Battle of Okinawa in the animation titled Gegege no Kitaro: Yokai Daisenso is one of popular culture product that serves as Japanese collective memory constructor. Gegege No Kitaro: Yokai Daisensou narrates a war between western yokais aiming to colonize Japan and the Japanese yokais who defend Japan. This research generates conclusion that visualization of Battle of Okinawa contains Japan?s ideology of resistence against Western country, especially The Unites States of America.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang perbandingan alur dalam novel dan film yang berjudul To live, penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa hasil yang muncul akibat proses alih wahana film yang berdasarkan pada novel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengarang dan sutradaranya memiliki perbedaan pesan yang ingin disampaikan.

This thesis discusses the comparative groove in the novel and film entitled To live, this paper aims to analyze the results arising from the transfer of a vehicle for a movie based on the novel. These results indicate that the author and the director has a different message to be conveyed.
