"Pada era yang mengedepankan persamaan dan pemberdayaan, persitegangan antaribu masih kerap kali terjadi. Salah satu faktor pemicu yang melanggengkan persitegangan adalah gagasan tentang ideal motherhood berikut kompetisi yang terjadi akibat mengkritisi diri sendiri maupun ibu lainnya lewat dasar teori sifat keibuan. Untuk memahami lebih lanjut terkait fenomena friksi antaribu, makalah ini menelaah representasi ideal motherhood pada novel Little Fires Everywhere (2017) karya Celeste Ng. Tulisan ini mengupas bagaimana novel tersebut mempermasalahkan gagasan dominan tentang ibu lewat penggambaran latar dan relasi antartokoh. Novel tersebut disajikan lewat sudut pandang orang ketiga serba tahu dan struktur naratif yang menempatkan dua tokoh ibu dalam central conflict dan dua tokoh ibu lainnya pada shadow conflict. Pengkajian terkait relasi antar-tokoh ibu maupun dengan lingkungan sekitarnya menunjukkan bagaimana gagasan dominan membentuk sisi psikologis, mendorong para tokoh ibu ini secara internal, sekaligus mengarahkan pola interaksi mereka. Selain itu, hubungan mereka dengan karakter anak perempuan masing-masing menawarkan perspektif tersendiri bagi perdebatan terkait ideal motherhood. Analisa terhadap struktur naratif juga memperlihatkan sudut pandang baru terkait apa yang menjadi dasar bagi teori sifat keibuan (ideal motherhood) dan pendekatan terbaik bagi konflik yang dimulai dari perdebatan ibu ideal tersebut.

The hostile tension between mothers is observed to still exist even in this era of equality and empowerment. The idea of ideal motherhood and the competition that includes the process of assessing oneself and others seem to be the gas that perpetuates this clash. In order to better understand this friction phenomenon between mothers, this study aims to investigate the representation of ideal motherhood in a novel by Celeste Ng titled Little Fires Everywhere (2017). The article analyzes textually how this novel problematizes the idea of dominant motherhood ideology through its depiction of setting and characters relation. The novel presents a narrative structure of two central mothers and two shadow mothers that unfolds through an omniscient point of view. An exploration of the interrelation between the mother characters, both with each other and with the surrounding environment, provides a portrayal of how dominant motherhood ideology shapes and drives them internally as well as molds their pattern of interaction. Furthermore, their relationship with the daughter characters also offers further insight into the discussion. The overall examination of the narrative structure then presents a new perspective regarding what constitutes as the idea of ideal motherhood and how the friction regarding the ideal should be best approached"

"Film Raise the Red Lantern merupakan film yang mengisahkan Songlian, seorang gadis berusia 19 tahun yang terpaksa putus sekolah dan menikah karena usaha keluarganya bangkrut. Setelah menikah dengan kepala keluarga Chen dan menjadi istri keempat, kehidupan Songlian dalam keluarga barunya dipenuhi intrik-intrik keluarga yang tidak berujung. Film ini diakhiri dengan narasi meninggalnya istri ketiga yang menyebabkan Songlian menjadi gila dan masuknya istri kelima ke dalam kediaman keluarga Chen. Makalah ini membahas kehidupan wanita tradisional Cina secara umum yang dikisahkan dalam film ini.

Raise the Red Lantern is a film that tells the story of Songlian, a 19 years old woman who is forced to drop out of school and married off because her family business has gone bankrupt. After married to master Chen and becomes the fourth concubine, Songlian’s life in her new family is full of the unending family intrigues. The film is ended by the death of the third concubine, which drive Songlian to insanity and the entrance of the fifth concubine to Chen’s family house. This paper discusses traditional Chinese women’s lives in general, as it is potrayed in the film."

Tokoh Perempuan dalam novel The Good Earth memiliki peranan penting dalam perubahan kisah tokoh utama, hal ini menggambarkan sejak dulu perempuan memiliki peranan penting.

"Kecemasan pada anak yang dirawat di rumah sakit merupakan fenomena yang sering ditemui dan berdampak terhadap penolakan tindakan. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kecemasan pada Anak usia Sekolah selama dirawat di kelas III Ruang Parikesit RSMM Bogor. Desain cross sectional, dengan sampel 23 responden melalui concecutive sampling. Analisa menggunakan chi square dan Independent T-Test. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan dialami oleh 53 % responden, selanjutnya terdapat hubungan signifikan antara karakteristik anak, keluarga dan lingkungan dengan kejadian takut.Kesimpulan bahwa Tingkat kecemasan yang dialami oleh anak sekolah yang dirawat di rumah sakit cukup tinggi, Karakteristik anak pada penelitian ini antara lain usia anak yang rata-rata berada pada usia sekolah, sebagian besar berjenis kelamin laki-laki, berada pada tipe temperamen lambat, belum pernah dirawat sebelumnya dan rata-rata lama dirawat lebih dari tiga hari, Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik anak: usia dan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah yang di rawat di Rumah Sakit.

Anxiety as experienced by hospitalized children is a phenomenon that is often encountered and the impacted on the children rejection to nursing intervention. This study was to analyze factors associated with the level of anxiety in school-age children during in-patient in class III Space Parikshit RSMM Bogor. Crosssectional design, with a concecutive sampling of 23 respondents was used and used chi-square analysis and Independent T-Test. Were Applied results showed that anxiety experienced by 53% of respondents, then were is a significant relationship between the characteristics of the children, the family and the environment with the level of anxiety.The conclusion that the level of anxiety experienced by school children who were hospitalized quite high, characteristic of the present study included age children on average are at school age, the majority of male sex, type of temperament is at a slow, yet never been treated before, and the average length of hospitalized more than three days, There was a significant relationship between child characteristics: age and family support with level of anxiety in hospitalized school-age children."
