ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas mengenai persepsi pustakawan perguruan tinggi terhadap tindakan plagiarisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pustakawan Universitas Indonesia terhadap tindakan plagiarisme dan upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan oleh mereka untuk membantu sivitas akademika dalam mencegah tindakan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Adapun pemilihan informan berdasarkan metode purposive sampling dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pustakawan Universitas Indonesia memiliki kesamaan persepsi terhadap tindakan plagiarisme. Selain itu, mereka juga telah melakukan beberapa upaya yang dapat mendukung sivitas akademika dalam mencegah tindakan tersebut.
ABSTRACT
This undergraduate thesis discusses perception of academic librarian towards plagiarism. This research aims to know the perception of librarians of Universitas Indonesia towards plagiarism and prevention efforts undertaken by them for helping sivitas akademika in preventing that action. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. Selection of informants based on purposive sampling method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document analysis. Result of this research shows that librarians of Universitas Indonesia have similarity perception towards plagiarism. In addition, they have also made several efforts which can help sivitas akademika in preventing that action.

Kajian pelaksanaan program Literasi Informasi di Program Studi Bahasa Inggris Jurusan Tadris Fakultas Tarbiyah IAIN Walisongo dilakukan melalui metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menunjukkan efektivitas pelaksanaan program Literasi Informasi tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa program Literasi Informasi memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa, sehingga mata kuliah literasi informasi ini pertama, perlu dilanjutkan, kedua, menjadi program UPT Perpustakaan sebagai kegiatan ekstra kurikuler yang wajib diikuti oleh semua mahasiswa IAIN Walisongo atau bahkan menjadi mata kuliah dasar di IAIN Walisongo. ...... The study on the implementation of Information Literacy Program in English Language Studies of the Tarbiyah Faculty, IAIN Walisongo is conducted by using case study method with qualitative approach. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the effectiveness of Information Literacy Program in improving students' information literacy skills. The result of the study concludes that Information Literacy Program has a very significant impact. It is suggested, firstly, that this program needs to be continued, secondly that it becomes a library compulsory extra curricular program for all students, moreover it becomes a credited program/subject in IAIN Walisongo.

The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) set forth characteristics of programs of information literacy that illustrate best practices : a guideline. Creating and maintaining an information literacy instruction program in the twenty-first century provides readers with a real-world, practical guide for creating an instruction program step-by-step, as well as a framework for reviewing, assessing, and updating existing programs. Each chapter focuses on one of the main aspects of the ACRL guidelines. Current research, anecdotal evidence and tools provide the reader with the support and instruments needed to either begin, or reinvigorate, an instruction program. The book begins by placing information literacy in programme context. It then covers how to survey your current program, and how to develop and implementing a program plan. The next chapters concentrate on administrative and institutional support, curriculum integration and campus collaboration, present and future students, pedagogy for the information professional, program marketing and outreach, assessment and future trends. Finally, this book concludes by asking its readers to re-survey their information literacy instruction program landscape once again.
