"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas mengenai cara dan bentuk adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh individu serta keluarga para imigran Korea yang tinggal di daerah Jabodetabek yang dalam menghadapi lingkungan sosial dan budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif analisis, dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa seluruh informan datang ke Indonesia dengan motif ekonomi dan dengan bantuan jaringan imigran yang telah terbentuk sebelumnya. Selain itu, juga terlihat bagaimana faktor-faktor makro dan mikro seperti hubungan antara migran dan host, serta institusi-institusi yang ada mempengaruhi bentuk adaptasi masing-masing migran. The focus of this study are the Korean immigrants and their family who live in Jabodetabek and their way and form of adaptation facing Indonesias culture and social situation. This research is qualitative descriptive and using purposive sampling and snowball sampling method. In this research, it was found that all of the informant came to Indonesia with economic motive and was helped by the migrant network that established in Indonesia. Its also can be seen how micro and macro factors, such as the relationship of migrants and host, and institutions affected the form of adaptation of each migrant"

"ABSTRAKSalah satu negara yang kental dengan sistem patriarkinya adalah Korea. Dengan melekatnya sistem tersebut dalam kehidupan orang Korea membuat perempuan sejak lahir dianggap tidak bebas menentukan hidupnya sendiri. Pada akhirnya gerakan untuk menuntut pembebasan perempuan semakin gencar dilakukan. Feminisme liberal pun menjadi dasar gerakan perempuan di Korea. Para perempuan ini memperjuangkan status sosial, hak perempuan dan wacana mengenai 39;perempuan modern rsquo;. Sementara itu, drama feminis memiliki karakter yang berbeda dengan stereotip perempuan Korea yang seringkali digambarkan. Perempuan Korea yang sering digambarkan dalam drama adalah orang yang taat, patuh, bergantung dan seorang pengikut. Maka dari itu, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa perempuan saat ini telah bergerak untuk memperjuangkan haknya masing-masing. Penulis akan membahas mengenai representasi perempuan modern yang ditunjukkan tokoh utama Cha Kiyoung dalam drama Choegoui Gyeolhon. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah perempuan berpendidikan, perempuan mandiri, perempuan memiliki kebebasan untuk memilih dan perempuan setara dengan laki-laki. Sementara itu untuk menunjang penelitian, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis mengumpulkan sumber data terkait dengan objek penelitian berdasarkan studi kepustakaan.

ABSTRACTKorea is one of the countries that has the strongest patriarchal system. The system is inherent in the life of Koreans, so that since birth, women cannot determine their life choices. In the end, the movement to demand women rsquo;s liberation began. Liberal feminism became the base of women rsquo;s movement in Korea. These women fight for the social status, women rsquo;s rights and the discourse of lsquo;modern women rsquo;. On the other hand, feminist drama has women characters with different characteristics from the stereotype of Korean women who are often described as being obedient, submissive, dependent, and a follower in the drama. Therefore, this journal aims to prove that Korean women today are fighting for their respective rights. This journal will discuss about the representation of modern women shown on main character Cha Kiyoung in the drama Cheogoui Gyeolhon. The results of this research shows that women are educated, independent, have the freedom to choose, and equal to men. The research method that the author uses is descriptive qualitative. The author collected data sources related to the research based on literature study."

"In this book, Jongwoo Han takes a holistic approach to understanding these phenomena by examining the stateʹs role in the unprecedented economic development and societyʹs capabilities to resist the stateʹs centralized power. Han re-articulates state-society relations through Onufʹs social constructivist approach based on three rules of a political community: hegemony, hierarchy, and heteronomy. This book expands upon this effort to re-construct the state and society relations in two ways. First, it produces case studies of the capital city of Hanyang (Joseon Dynasty from 1392 to 1910), Kyeongseong (Japanese colonial control from 1910 to 1945), and Seoul (1945-current). The capital city is analyzed as a container for the major ideologies and ways of thinking that have shaped three important political eras. Second, it adopts two indigenous thoughts, Neo-Confucianism and geomancy, as sources of the main political and cultural ideologies that shape Koreaʹs state and society relations. These sources have never been treated as units of political analysis. This book finds that both Neo-Confucianism and geomancy, over two periods of Hanyang and Kyeongseong, are two main contributing factors of the emergence of the developmental state and vibrant democracy in Korea in the Seoul era."
