"This field project is aimed to observe and study strategic aspect of the development of an educational institution, , that is, the State Institute for Islamic Studies (LAIN) Syarif Hldayatuliah Jakarta, by utilizing strategic concepts and analyses generally used in private firms.

Firstly, I will describe brief history and present condition of the IAIN Jakarta to give an introductory perspective of the institution. Secondly, in the main section, I shall look at it from the strategic management perspective: its formulation, implementation, and evaluation. In this regard, I will use some tools of analysis such as SWOT analysis, core competence analysis, competitive advantage analysis, and Balanced Scorecard analysis. In relation to this, the integral view of strategy, structure, and culture will also be examined. Feminism approach is an analytical or perspective on the basis of gender equality. With this approach, it will be revealed with obvious forms of gender inequality in the social system that needs to deconstruct and reconstruct that is friendlier to women. Feminism approach is much better done by feminist leaders in the fields of theological interpretation, misogynitic hadith, islamic law, and so forth. "
