Abstrak :
Kemajuan teknologi ibarat dua mata pisau, disatu sisi menguntungkan, disisi lain merugikan. Internet sebagai produk jasa perkembangan teknologi dan sebagai sarana informasi yang apabila digunakan tidak terkendali dapat membahayakan penggunanya, khususnya remaja, karena jaringan internet memuat segala macam informasi termasuk materi informasi termasuk materi pornografi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampel sebanyak 402 remaja SMAN 5 Depok dengan metode cross-sectional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden terpapar pornografi. Efek keterpaparan yang terjadi adalah 47,1% mengalami adiksi, 36,2% mengalami eskalasi, 42,6% mengalami desentisasi dan 41,0% responden melakukan perilaku berisiko. Hasil analisa dengan uji statistis Chi-Square pada α = 0,05, didapat hasil ada hubungan antara efek keterpaparan (adiksi, eskalasi dan desentisasi) dengan perilaku seksual.
The technology progress has two sides, benefits and harmful. Internet as product of the technology progress and as a media information which uses unwisely can be harmful for users, because the internet link has many information including pornography materials. The research had done with 402 adolescents as sampel in Depok High School with cross-sectional method. The results of this research is majority (81,8%) of respondents report the exposure of internet pornography. The effects of exposures are 47,1% respondents got addict, 36,2% got escalation, and 42,6% in desentization. Analytic statistic with Chi-Square on α = 0,05, there is relation between the internet pornography effects (addiction, escalation and desentization) with sexual behavior.

[Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara keterampilan komunikasi nonverbal dan jenis kelamin pada remaja pengguna internet. Pengukuran keterampilan komunikasi nonverbal yang digunakan adalah skala Social Skills Inventory milik Riggio yang telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti. Partisipan berjumlah 222 orang remaja, yang terdiri dari 104 laki-laki (46,8 %) dan 118 perempuan (53,2%) berusia 12 – 24 tahun. Melalui perhitungan statistik dengan perbandingan rata-rata (Independent Sample T-Test) diperoleh hasil, yaitu tidak terdapat perbedaan antara keterampilan komunikasi nonverbal dan jenis kelamin pada remaja pengguna internet. Selain itu, dilakukan penelitian lanjutan tentang hubungan setiap Domain Keterampilan Komunikasi Nonverbal dan Jenis Kelamin. Melalui perhitungan statistik ditemukan terdapat perbedaan antara domain Emotional Expresiveness dengan jenis kelamin. Sedangkan, untuk domain Emotional Sensitivity dan domain Emotional Control tidak menunjukkan perbedaan dengan jenis kelamin. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa jenis kelamin hanya berbeda dengan domain Emotional Expresiveness, yaitu keterampilan dalam mengirimkan (encoding) pesan nonverbal. ......This study was conducted to determine the difference between non-verbal communication skills and sexes in teenager internet users. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai negosiasi identitas yang terjadi dalam interaksi sosial daring dalam jaringan atau yang biasa disebut dengan online melalui Facebook. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan dibedah melalui metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa remaja SKR Sekolah Kita Rumpin dengan latar belakang sosial, ekonomi dan kondisi traumatis melakukan negosiasi identitas dalam kegiatan interaksi sosial daringnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Negosiasi Identitas dari Stella Ting-Toomey dan Konsep Diri untuk melihat bagaimana identitas yang ditampilkan dalam facebook setelah melalui proses negosiasi identitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, melalui medium daring, remaja SKR dapat menggunakan identitas alternatifnya yang dibangun berdasarkan interaksi sosial yang dimaknainya. Identitas memunculkan persona diri dan kontrol sosial yang terbangun melalui serangkaian proses negosiasi. Identitas juga merupakan konsekuensi dari adanya kedekatan personal, keragaman situasi, dan dimensi budaya. Kehadiran Sekolah Kita Rumpin sebagai sebuah komunitas di tengah perkembangan remaja memberikan implikasi yang cenderung positif bagi perkembangan identitas remaja. ...... This research mainly talk about identity negotiation happens in online social interaction through Facebook. By using qualitative method and phenomenology, this research finds that adolescents of SKR Sekolah Kita Rumpin with their backgrounds of social situation, economic, and psychology do identity negotiation with some results in their social interaction activities in Facebook. This research goes for deep analysis how adolescents perform their main and alternative identities in Facebook using Ting Toomey Identity Negotiation and Self Concept. The result of this research is, through online medium, SKR adolescents could use their alternative identity that built based on meaning of social interaction. Identity show self persona and social control that built through a identity negotiation. Also, identity is consequence from personal proximity, diversity of situation, and cultural dimention. The existence of Sekolah Kita Rumpin as a community among the adolescents gives a positive implication for them.

N ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara impulsivitas, parental control, dan adiksi internet pada remaja. Pengukuran impulsivitas menggunakan Barratt Impulsiveness Scale Barratt, 1995 , pengukuran adiksi internet menggunakan Internet Addiction Test Young, 1987 , dan pengukuran parental control menggunakan alat ukur Parental Control Scale Schaefer Schludermann, 1987. Partisipan penelitian merupakan remaja yang berusia dari 12-21 tahun. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode statistika kuantitatif deskriptif dan pearson correlation menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hanya 155 responden yang mengalami adiksi internet sesuai data deskriptif total skor IAT, dimana terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara impulsivitas dan adiksi internet pada remaja r 155 = .217, p < .01, one tails. Sedangkan tidak terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara parental control dan adiksi internet pada remaja r 155 = -.032, p < .01, one tails. ......This research was conducted to find out the correlation between impulsivity, parental control and internet addiction among adolescent. Impulsivity was measured by Barratt Impulsiveness Scale Barratt, 1995, while internet addiction was measured by Internet Addiction Test Young, 1987, and parental contol was measure by Parental Control Scale Schaefer Schludermann, 1987. The participant in this research are adolescent with the age range between 12 to 21 years old. Data processing was done by using descriptive statistics and pearson correlation with a software called SPSS 20. The result from this research shows that only 155 respondents are addicted to internet based on the result of IAT descriptiv statistic's data. From this research the results show that impulsivity positively correlated significantly with internet addiction r 155 .217, p .01, one tails . While parental control doesn't signifivantly have a positive correlation with internet addiction r 155 .032, p .01, one tails.

Waktu yang terlalu lama dihabiskan di depan layar media elektronik dapat berdampak negatif pada anak, seperti cenderung kurang peduli terhadap lingkungan sehingga kurang peka terhadap kehadiran teman-teman sebaya disekitarnya. Dengan demikian, hubungan relasi dengan teman sebaya menjadi buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapat gambaran screen time terutama pada pelajar sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas. Tujuan kedua adalah untuk mencari hubungan antara screen time dan masalah relasi teman sebaya pada pelajar sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian potong lintang, dan instrumen Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), yang diisi secara online oleh pelajar SMP dan SMA selama periode Juli-September 2018. Sebanyak 447 data yang terkumpul kemudian dilakukan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa pemilihan acak sederhanadan didapatkan sejumlah 362 data yang akan dianalisis. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-square menggunakan windows SPSS versi 20. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan rerata (SB) usia = 15,88 (1,238), 15,5% SMP, dan 84,5% SMA. Rerata (SB) screen time televisi = 99,66 menit (83,17), rentang = 5-480 menit, median = 60. Rerata (SB) screen time komputer = 133,09 menit (103,95), rentang = 5-600 menit, median = 120. Rerata (SB) screen time telepon seluler = 373,43 menit (216,59), rentang = 15-1080 menit, median = 300. Rerata (SB) screen time tablet = 73,41 menit (85,37), rentang = 5-480 menit, median = 60. Rerata (SB) screen timevideo games = 101,01 menit (89,21), rentang = 10-480 menit, median = 90. Terdapat hubungan antara screen time televisi dengan masalah relasi teman sebaya (OR = 1,8 IK 95% 1,150-2,926, p < 0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara screen time tablet dengan masalah relasi teman sebaya (OR 2,4 IK 95% 1,064-5,413, p < 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diketahui gambaran screen time paling banyak adalah pada penggunaan telepon seluler. Hubungan antara screen time dengan masalah relasi teman sebaya pada pelajar SMP dan SMA terdapat pada penggunaan televisi dan tablet (p < 0,05). Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan bahan edukasi untuk masyarakat agar muncul kesadaran adanya pengaruh screen time berlebih pada relasi teman sebaya.
ABSTRACT
The amount of time being spent in front of electronical device screen can negatively affect children, such as making them to be ignorant with their environment hence decrease their awareness towards their peers. Due to that, relationship among peers can be worsened. The main objective of this research was to get the idea of screen time especially on junior high school and high school students. The second objective was to find whether there was any relationship between screen time and peer problems among junior high school and high school students. This research used cros-sectional study design and SDQ instrument, which filled online by junior high school and senior high school students during July to September 2018. An initial of 447 data has been collected and was taken for sampling using random sampling method and a final 362 data prepared for analysis. The analysis was done by a Chi-square technique using SPSS windows version 20. From this research, a result of mean (SD) of age = 15.88 (1.238), 15,5% for junior high school students, and 84.5% for senior high school students was obtained. Mean (SD) television screen time = 99.66 (83.17), range = 5-480 minutes, median = 60. Mean (SD) computer screen time = 133.09 (103.95), range = 5-600 minutes, median = 120. Mean (SD) cellular phone screen time = 373.43 (216.59), range = 15-1080 minutes, median = 300. Mean (SD) tablet screen time = 73.41 (85.37), range = 5-480 minutes, median = 60. Mean (SD) video games screen times = 101.01 (89.21), range = 10-480 minutes, median = 90. An association was found between television screen time with peer problems (OR = 1.8 IK 95% 1.150-2.926, p < 0.05). An association was found between tablet screen time with peer problems (OR 2.4 IK 95% 1.064- 5.413, p < 0.05). According to the result, it was identified that the most significant screen time image found in cellular phone usage. Meanwhile, the relationship between peer problems among junior high school and senior high school students significantly existed in television and tablet usage (p < 0.05). Therefore, the result can be applied aseducational aspect for the society to raise awareness of the influence in excessive screen time effects among peers.

Ketersediaan teknologi yang berpotensi membebaskan tidak dengan sendirinya melahirkan warga negara yang berdaulat atas dirinya dan berhasrat untuk memberdayakan kekuatan masyarakat. Bila tidak ada langkah untuk mengarahkan pemanfaatannya, kehadiran segenap teknologi yang membebaskan ini justru hanya menuju pada lembah kesia-siaan. Dalam konteks itu, kelahiran teknologi komunikasi berbasis digital, terutama internet, seharusnya bisa mewujudkan public sphere bagi sebuah Indonesia baru. Kenyataannya, menggagas demokrasi dalam benak generasi yang dibesarkan oleh budaya televisi bukanlah pekerjaan mudah.
