Abstrak :
Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin) adalah suatu bentuk penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan pelatihan kejuruan yang memadukan kegiatan belajar di sekolah dan kegiatan belajar melalui bekerja langsung pada bidang serta suasana sesungguhnya dan relevan di dunia kerja/ industri. Dalam melakukan penelitian terhadap pelaksanaan Prakerin di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik ini peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan tujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui implementasi Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin) pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK Negeri 4 di Kota Tangerang, dan (2) Untuk mengetahui bentuk kerjasama antara pihak sekolah dengan pihak industri dalam implementasi Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin) pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK Negeri 4 di Kota Tangerang. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin) pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK Negeri 4 di Kota Tangerang diimplementasikan dalam berbagai tahapan yang terstruktur, yaitu sebagai berikut : (1) Pemetaan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri, (2) Pengajuan Daftar Peserta Prakerin pada Dunia Usaha dan atau Dunia Industri, (3) Tanggapan Dunia Usaha dan atau Dunia Industri, (4) Pengiriman Peserta Prakerin, (5) Pelaksanaan Prakerin, (6) Monitoring Prakerin dan (7) Menyusun Laporan dan Presentasi, sedangkan bentuk kerjasama yang sudah dilaksanakan dan akan terus dikembangkan oleh SMK Negeri 4 di Kota Tangerang dengan pihak industri yang selama ini telah banyak membantu Program Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin); yaitu dalam bentuk kerjasama : (1) Program Permagangan/Prakerin, (2) Pola Kerjasama Program Pelatihan, (3) Pola Kerjasama Program Produksi (Produk Inovatif), dan (4) Pola Kerjasama Program Penyaluran Lulusan.
Industry Job Practice is an implementation study and vocational training which combine between school learning and learning to work directly in the real condition and relevant of job world or industry. In Industry Job Practice research of SMK Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang, this subject is presented by Qualitative research. by the aims, they are : 1) Understanding Industry Job Practice implementation in Electricity installation Competence of SMK Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang. 2) Understanding cooperation between school institute and Industry institute in Industry Job Practice implementation of SMK Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang Electricity installation Competence. As the result, the research give us information that Industry Job Practice implementation of SMK Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang Electricity installation Competence is implemented arranged steps. They are : 1) Business world and industry cartography. 2) tend ration Industry Job Practice participant in business world and industry cartography. 3) response of business world and industry cartography. 4) sending Industry Job Practice. 5) implementation Industry Job Practice 6) monitoring of Industry Job Practice. 7) drafting report and presentation, cooperation which is presented SMK Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang and Industry Institute helped Industry Job Practice. They are : 1) Industry Job Practice Program. 2) cooperation training system. 3) cooperative production program (Innovative Product). 4) cooperative graduation existence.
