ABSTRAK
Penerangan Lampu Jalan Umum (PLJU) yang dikelola secara cerdas mampu secara signifikan mengurangi penggunaan energi listrik untuk penerangan. Sehingga perlu dibangun suatu teknologi untuk monitoring dan controlling ribuan lampu jalan secara efektif. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah sistem lengkap yang terdiri dari node embedded system pada lampu sebagai device pengontrol dan pengirim data lampu serta node coordinator yang berfungsi mengumpulkan data serta mengirimkannya ke web server. Pada penelitian ini Device yang dikontrol ialah lampu LED 18 watt dengan power source 12 VDC, kemudian device yang mengontrol ialah Board Arduino Uno dengan Mikrokontroler ATMega 328. Sistem juga dilengkapi sensor-sensor yang berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi perubahan-perubahan parameter yang terjadi disekitar lampu jalan. Hasil pembacaan sensor kemudian dikirimkan ke Thingspeak API dengan memanfaatkan API Thingspeak kemudian ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik di dashboard. Selain itu terdapat fitur pemberitahuan melalui SMS dan juga twitter apabila terjadi kerusakan lampu ataupun baterai. Hasil data logging pemakaian daya lampu menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini lebih terjangkau dalam hal pemakaian energi dibandingkan lampu konvensional.
ABSTRACT
Public Street Lighting Lamps (PJU) managed intelligently able to significantly reduce the use of electricity for lighting. So it is necessary to build a technology for monitoring and controlling thousands of street lights effectively. This research is to design a complete system consisting of nodes embedded systems in the light as a device controller and the data sender light and coordinator node which serves to collect data and send it to the web server. In this study controlled device is 18 watt LED lamp with a power source 12 VDC, then device control board is the Arduino Uno with Microcontroller ATMega 328. The system is also equipped with sensors that function as detection parameter changes that occur around the street lights. Results of sensor readings is then sent to Thingspeak API by using the API Thingspeak then displayed in graphical form on the dashboard. In addition there is an SMS notification feature and also twitter the event of damage the lamp or batteries. Data logging results show that the lamp power consumption of the system is more affordable in terms of energy consumption than conventional lighting.
