Abstrak :
Dengan disahkannya 2 konvenan international hak asasi manusia international pada tahun 2005, maka hingga saat ini Indonesia telah menjadi pihak pada 6 dari 7 perangkat HAM international, yaitu ICC PR, ICESCR, CERD, CEDAW, dan CAT. Setiap konvensi tersebut mempunyai badan-badan perjanjian HAM interntional (tready bodies) untuk memantau pelaksanaan konvensi-konvensi tersebut oleh negara pihak. Tready bodies, yang beranggotakan para pakar dari negara-negara pihak, mempunyai sebutan yang hampir sama dengan perangkat pokok HAM international di bawah mandatnya. Treaty bodies tersebut meliputi committee on economic, social and cultural rights memonitor pelaksanaan (CERD); committe on the elimination of dicrimination against women memonitor pelaksanaan (CEDAW); Committee on the rights of child memonitor pelaksanaan (CRC); committe against torture memonitor pelaksanaan (CAT); dan Migrant committee memonitor pelaksanaan internastional convention on the protection of the rights of all migrant workers and members of their families. Hanya satu komite yang sebutannya berbeda dengan perangkat pokok HAM international di bawah mandatnya, yaitu Human Rights Committee yang memonitor pelaksanaan (ICCPR)
